Perhaps no place on Earth has been the focal point for as many strange phenomena as the little corner of Utah known as the Skinwalker Ranch. This nebulous stretch of terrain in the Uinta Basin has hosted numerous sightings of blue orbs, UFOs, wolfmen, Bigfoot and practically every other paranormal bogeyman you could think of. Despite these heady tales of the bizarre, the outside world knew very little about the strange happenings at Skinwalker Ranch until fairly recently. But for the Native Americans of the region, the history of high strangeness goes back at least 1,000 years.
Deep in their ancestral memory, frightening tales of the skin-walker roam across their consciousness. The dread is so great, in fact, that many residents of the nearby Ute Indian Reservation still refuse to set foot in the area known as Skinwalker Ranch. For them, the land is hopelessly cursed and to be avoided at all costs. But for the purpose of this book, we are going to cast these ancient words of wisdom to the wayside and delve right into the thick of things.
Come along with us as we march headlong right into the uncertain and unsettling world of the unknown—right into Skinwalker Ranch!

Skinwalker Ranch: Facing the Unknown Force that Haunts the Uinta Basin (Paranormal and Unexplained Phenomena Book 1) Reviews
-
Skinwalker Ranch: Facing the Unknown Force that Haunts the Uinta Basin, by Conrad Bauer, is a nonfiction book about a ranch in Utah where ample paranormal activity has been witnessed. The events described, which touch on traditional skinwalkers, UFOs, and portals, are worth looking into, if you're a paranormal buff like me.
As for the writing style, I actually prefer citation markers in the text when I'm learning about a topic. That said, there is a section listing sources at the back of the book. The author worked to evoke a mood, empathy in the reader, when describing each strange occurrence, and I would've preferred direct quotes for that.
While stylistically, the writing wasn't my favorite, I enjoyed the topic and I observed zero typos. As far as I can tell, this book was well researched. -
I really wanted to enjoy this book, but trying to cover the phenomenon of Skinwalker Ranch in just 86 pages is like trying to squeeze an elephant down a drain pipe. Could be considered as a useful introduction to further reading, though.

Footnotes
Extremely short and basically just an overview. It works if you just want a quick run down of what's happened at the ranch. -
Excellent!!!

Skinwalker ranch: facing the unknown
It was an ok book. Just didn’t have a enough information that hadn’t been published before. Short but sweet. Decent read. -
Quick read
There are too many people, who have seen and experienced seeing unnatural phenomenon, for it to be false. This has happened over decades. I believe it is real. -
Skin walker Ranch
Lots of interesting info I was not aware of. Makes you think about the possibilities of what could really be going on.
