A wonderful little package: an advent calendar in the form of a charming children's book. The story is cute and the illustrations are absolutely beautiful and chock full of detail for any child to explore. The ribbon which ties the book closed is a lovely touch. The dated doors on each page that you open one at a time until December 25 are a little hard to pry ajar but once opened you can spread the bood out like an accordion and enjoy it a little at a time throughout the holiday season. It makes a great, long, skinny, decoration.
