However, Amelia does not let this fact get in the way of her reuniting with her grandparents. For one thing, Amelia does not have a real feeling for how awful it is to remove your panties in preparation for a spanking. Nor does she realize how much a spanking hurts. Then too, she is not certain that young women other than wives are considered spankable. Finallly, Amelia thinks of herself as a good girl and can’t imagine any reason she would end up lying over a knee while a hard hand, hairbrush, or paddle punishes her misdeeds.
Soon Amelia learns of her mistakes. Young ladies are most certainly subject to spanking by – well – by nearly any adult. She finds spankings really hurt and are almost always given on the bare bottom. Most of all, she finds that she is not as good a girl as she thought. Not a bad girl mind you, but by no means perfect. She has a temper which she doesn’t always control. She is a teenager with all that implies for missed curfews, pranks, and the like. Amelia’s lessons are learned over the knees of her grandfather, grandmother, boss, mother of a girlfriend, high school physics teacher, and boyfriend soon to become fiancé.
But Amelia learns that however much spankings hurt and how embarrassing they might be, they are given out of love and concern and that she can benefit from an environment in which women are loved, cherished, and disciplined.
The Spankings of Amelia Walton Reviews
-
Amelia Walton is moving back to her childhood town in New England. She remembers loving the town and her grandparents there. At age six, her father died in an automobile accident, and her mother moved away with Amelia. Since her mother was working full-time at a salon, Amelia was lonely and focused on school. She finished a year early, but had no idea what career she wanted.
Now, living with her grandparents, she is aware of the traditional domestic discipline of the town. Amelia's temper and a teenage prank gets her spanked. She is respectful of her grandparents, works hard at a coffee shop, and starts dating a sheriff deputy who is thirty years old.
Amelia is confused about what she wants to do in life, till her grandmother points out her natural talents. She also pulls out a handwritten book by her great-great-grandmother. This ancestor married at age 14 and raised a houseful of children. The book is a manual on child care and recipes. Something, that Amelia's grandmother thinks she could create and make motherhood a career.
A sweet book of Amelia's adventures as she matures and falls in love.
