I've read 4 of the novels in this series and this one is the best.
Now, as you can see from my rating, my use of the word "best" is purely relative because this wasn't exactly a riveting or supremely romantic series. I only managed to make my way through 4 of the 5 books because of my curiosity and my love for OTT trainwrecky drama. Plus, I really wanted to see the villain Rogue get what's coming to him.
In this novel, the H Booth, is the President of the motorcycle club. Booth, like all the other guys, is a former soldier but he used to be their commanding officer when they were all in the army. He also suffers from severe PTSD because he'd seen his younger brother blown to bits before his eyes.
Booth's experiencing a mega case of lust for the club's new cook/housekeeper, Stella - to be specific, he's got it bad for Stella's boobs. Apparently, Stella's got the best boobs of all the ladies in the club.
Stella's a martyred Mary Sue who can cook better than Martha Stewart and she's also got the hots for the club's studly President. But, he's been giving her the cold shoulder treatment so she thinks he dislikes her. The real reason for this is that same old case of the tortured H, who think's he's not good enough for her.
But Stella's a passive Polly who is turned on by all that heady masculine pathos that surrounds the H. All she wants to do is soothe him, but she thinks he'll never give her a second glance because she always sees a clubwhore, named Ingrid, coming out of his room at all weird hours.
In fact, everybody in the club thinks that Ingrid is Booth's special booty call girl because the H doesn't allow any other clubwhore to enter his room. Stella has been eating herself up with jealousy trying to figure out what's so special about this specific clubwhore !
So, you can imagine my great surprise to discover a major plot twist in this book: it's revealed that Booth had never been sexually or emotionally involved with Ingrid. Contrary to my preconceived notions, the H has actually been celibate for a few years ! Ingrid the clubwhore has been helping him to cope with his PTSD nightmares.
Booth's very ashamed of these nightmares and he has been using Ingrid as a buffer to shield this knowledge from the rest of the club. The clubwhore wants be a lawyer, so when she enters his room, all she does is study while he sleeps. But everyone else in the club, including Stella, thinks that they're burning out their genitals banging each other !
But the author seemed to have forgotten a vital piece of information that she revealed in the first book. This information serves as a minor plot hole. In the first book,
His Sweetness, there was a scene where Booth attends little Shiloh's dance recital with a lipstick mark on his neck. The shade of the lipstick just happened to match Ingrid's !
Now my problem is this: if Booth and Ingrid had really been carrying on with this charade, then why did he have her lipstick on his neck, in the first novel ?
The only explanation I can devise is that the author, after reviewing feedback on
His Sweetness, probably decided to do a little backtracking and change Booth into a non manwhore H.
This is the H, Booth:
This is the heroine, Stella:
Anyway, the MC's relationship accelerates from platonic "boss and employee" to "Pres and his Old Lady" in a very short time, but their happiness is interrupted by the evil machinations of Rogue and the heroine's nasty stepfather and stepbrothers.
Stella barely has time to enjoy the awesomeness of Booth's huge penis when she's captured by her step-relatives and Rogue. The villains beat her so badly, that some fingers and ribs are broken. Her malevolent, greedy stepfather forces her to sign a document giving him ownership of her late mother's house.
Poor Booth doesn't know that she's captured until he gets a phone call from Rogue. The villain, who used a voice changer to disguise his voice, stabs Stella while the H is on speakerphone and can hear the entire ordeal.
Booth's totally obsessed and in love with Stella by this time, so he's in agony as he races to the dump site, hoping beyond hope that the heroine is still alive !
( OK, I really couldn't resist using that Marlon Brando gif ! LOL )
The heroine is saved, but has to have surgery. There's some other drama, as well, that's really more linked to setting up the storylines for the 3rd, 4th and 5th novels. Booth and Stella are all lovey dovey since she's agreed to marry him and they're getting ready for their HEA, when the author provides some sneak peaks on the drama for the next book,
His Beauty.
It's obvious that the MC's in that novel are gonna be Mia and Steel and boy, their story has all the hallmarks of a super trainwreck. The only thing I hated about the resolution of this novel was the fact that Stella's abusive stepfather and stepbrothers were not punished at all for their role in her torture. This is the second time that this author has allowed a heroine's wicked relatives to get off scot free.
Safety: No OW, no OM, no cheating. The "OW" Ingrid was merely smokescreen. The H is not a manwhore since he's been celibate for a few years and the heroine was a virgin. -
4.5 stars!! I liked this one even more than the first. Booth and Stella are both awesome characters. I was nervous about this one going in but I shouldn’t have been. I will say though that the next book has me EXTREMELY nervous. Steel is a dick. He doesn’t deserve Mia at all. And as much as I hate dead exes, I would still rather see her end up with Creed. It is going to take some kind of miracle on the author’s part to get me to like Steel even a little bit. Also I think I have Rogue and the leak in the club figured out. Time will tell.

OhMyWord but His Honey was even better than book 1 of the Wounded Souls MC!!!! What an intriguing and smexy story. I love this MC series and all the members including 3 year old, no 4 year old Shiloh and her relationships with all the Godfathers in the MC... this little precocious girl has tea party dates with these men and it so cute and loving. With each H/h, the storyline is getting better and better - more detail and focus on the other members as well.
Book 2, "His Honey" was Vincent Booth and Stella Hogan's story and it picks up right where "His Sweetness" ended. We really got to see another side to Pres. Booth when it came down to the sweet housekeeper and cook - his honey, Stel. Booth was a blunt but conscientious leader and caring godfather to Shiloh but not the bad boy womanizer as he was portrayed in "His Sweetness" which was Deck and Charlie's story. So, readers it's best to read this GRIPPING series in order.
"Yeah, I had been a prick to her, but I was pulling my head out of my arse and changing that, and I was going to spend the rest of our lives together making it up to her." - Booth
“That is up to you, Stella. If you want this to keep going, then take them off me. If you just want to lie together in bed and snuggle, then that’s what we will do. I can wait until you are ready for as long as you need. But know this”—he hunkered down so his eyes were level with mine—“if you take them off, we will be making love. And once I get inside you, Honey, I am not giving you back,” he promised. His words turned me on, and my core throbbed. I may be a virgin, but I was no stranger to the feeling. -Booth
The vengeful rogue is still on the loose destroying property, killing a pet of Steel and Shiloh's and still sabotaging the MC businesses but there is a huge twist with Stella stepfamily too as the reader learns both protagonists' backstory ---the rationale behind Stella's bruises (sad story there) as well as how Booth deals with his pain (think Ingrid) and boy didn't see that one coming but it does make sense with the dynamic role Booth plays in his club.
Ok, on to the next story with wishy washy VP Steel and Mia! Creed hold on!!!!!!!
5 Honey and Baby stars *****

3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK, or decent reads.
=========================
The hero keeps pushing our heroine away and avoiding his own feelings to protect her from the traumas he still carries from when he was a soldier.
I confess that his relationship with Ingrid struck me as strange and I did not find the outcome convincing. Ingrid has always treated our heroine with disdain previously. I was not convinced by the motivation.
The actions of our villain are intensifying and I already suspect who he may be.
Can not read as standalone, have to read from the beginning otherwise the reader will not understand.
The characters are all interesting and I kept interest until the end.I had been in a constant state of arousal since the first time I saw her standing in my kitchen.
But I wouldn’t be going there, not in this lifetime, but that didn’t mean I couldn’t have some fun with the pretty blonde.
In the last six weeks, I had acted like such a fucking prick towards her.
Stella was just a seriously nice and kind person. And yet, I continued to shit on her every chance I got.
Fuck, if I was honest, I wanted to be her first, last, and only.
I really needed to shut those feelings down. And quick.
I hated that he turned to her. Surely, he knew how I felt about him. I certainly didn’t make it a secret. It killed me every time she walked down that hallway to his room. The sway of her hips in the denim booty shorts she liked to wear screamed confidence. They also screamed ‘I’m having sex with Booth, and you’re not, so na-na na-na na-na.’
He was always growling at me. Could I ever do anything right for him? Would his words ever stop hitting me right in the heart and not in a good way?
Ingrid. I hated that he went to her. I hated that he specifically asked for her every time.
Steel ran off in Callie’s direction and took the wrong sister in his arms,
Ingrid told me I could get a bit violent in the bed when I had a nightmare.
“Hey, sweetheart, wanna bring yourself over for a quickie?” I joked with Ingrid when she answered the phone. Our ‘in’ joke made her laugh. “Sure, why not. I’ve got...

Such a great addition. There will be spoilers. I loved this so much. There was slight push/pull and ow drama, but the ow drama was just a misunderstanding that was fixed pretty quickly in this story, even though it carried from the last. For safety gang: H has been celibate for years. Great read. Can't wait for the next one, even though I think it's going to be Steel and Mia, and he hurt her so bad, there was no misunderstanding with that one.

2.5 Cheesy Biker Stars
Another book that’s been in my TBR for years. His Honey is the second book of the Wounded Souls series which follows a group of ex-Army special forces soldiers that formed a biker club. This isn’t your typical gritty mc book, the men are emotional, there’re are no club whores skanking about, and to the best of my knowledge, they’re legit… They also sing/hum to each other Glee-style… like I said cheesy. I didn’t read the first book but caught up quickly. A villain called Rogue is targeting their women and killed a prospect in the first book.
Booth AKA Handsome is the president of the club and carrying around a suitcase of guilt and loathing because his brother (Carson) died in combat under his command. He secretly has the hots for Stella but shows his love by being a grumpy butt. Stella AKA honey is the club housekeeper who not secretly has the hots for Booth. She’s a 20-something virgin that watches Pornhub in her spare time and practices BJ’s on bananas. She is a domestic goddess and can cook, clean, and organize like a boss. She also sings like an angel… and is getting the shit kicked out of her by her stepfamily.
This has some violence, but the tone (IMO) is very fluffy, and these men don’t act like the typical alpha badass. Most of their interactions go like this…
“Stella, are you my honey?” I asked her softly. As soon as I asked it, I wanted to take it back. What if she said no? Fuck! There was that possibility. I mean, I had been an absolute arsehole to her. I held my breath as I waited for my fate. But instead “Yes, Booth, I am. Are you my handsome man?” she asked, “My fucking oath I am, Honey. My fucking oath,” I replied.
There were some plot holes if you dig deep…
Bottom Line- Not terrible, but not great either. I wouldn’t recommend unless you’re in the mood for fluff. I already own the next book, so I’ll read it, but I doubt I’ll go further. The mystery plot is ongoing, so I think it would be harder to jump into the later books. Many of the future plots are introduced here. I am curious about the identity of Rogue… if anyone did finish the series, please let me know who he is. My guess is Booth’s dad that he hates.
Safety- I rarely write this for an MC book, but this is totally safe. There’s a whiff of potential OW drama, but it’s sorted out quickly and innocent. -
Filled with heat, sweet romance, and suspense His Honey is a book that hooks you immediately. I was glued to the pages having to know what would happen next the entire time I was reading. I’ve been looking forward to Booth and Stella’s story since the last book and was totally in love with everything about them in this one! Their love is even more than I thought it would be. Sweet, electric, HOT! Add in all of the mystery and action and it makes for a read you won’t be able to put down!
There’s much more to Booth than meets the eye. Getting inside his head and seeing things from his point of view explains so much about him. The man truly is amazing. Kind hearted, completely devoted to his brothers and their women. His club is his family and he protects every one of them fiercely. The push and pull between him and Stella only continues to cause more sparks until reality pushes him to stop fighting his feelings.
Stella hasn’t really hidden her attraction to Booth. Sweet, unbelievably brave and strong she’s had secrets of her own. When the chemistry between her and Booth finally explodes these two become something amazing. Their story is full of just as much emotion as it is action leaving me absolutely dying for the next in the series! -

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Stella has been in love with Vincent Booth since she first saw him. Yet, she has to watch him go off with the Natalie every time she turns around. Seeing her smiling as she walks out of his room the next morning is almost more than she can bear. She harbors another painful secret that she can never let anyone know. Booth knows that he can't appear weak as the president of the Wounded Souls MC. He has wanted Stella Hogan since he saw her but she is his weakness. When danger tries to take her away from him, he isn't sure he can stay away anymore but once she knows his secret will she look at him the same. Wow! What a ride this book takes you on. Stella and Booth are fighting so much to not cause each other more pain but all they do is cause heartbreak that broke mine while reading it. They are both so strong and perfect for each other. In their tragic stories you will find strength and overpowering love. I love this MC and all it's various characters. Definitely a must read!!!
Booth has has is eye on Stella for a while. He has been a dick to her and she just stays away. She is hiding something and he is determined to figure out what. Stella only want peace and little does know hat Booth may be he one that can give it to her. She loves the MC and will do anything to keep them safe. Can Booth figure it out before it’s too late or will Stella find herself on a world of trouble?
Awesome read -
Book two in the Wounded Souls MC series, this book focuses on Booth and Stella. While it can be read as a stand alone, there are events that carry over from the previous book, His Sweetness.
Booth is the president of the MC. He was also their commanding officer, when in the military. Tragic events that occurred while serving have followed him home, and haunted him. He has taken those events on his own shoulders, as his failure. It has kept him from moving forward in his life, and from accepting the obvious feelings that Stella has for him.
Stella is purely amazing. She is sweet and giving, and would put anyone else's wants and needs above her own. But she also has a secret, secret that she has been hiding for years. As happy as she is with the MC, she also feels like her life his hopeless.
Booth and Stella together, are beautiful! Their interactions are enough to bring tears to my eyes. They work together to work through everything that life has thrown at them, and come out stronger for it.
This story, (and the one before it!) is everything I want when I look for an MC romance: plenty of action, lots of hotness, and a focus on family. There is also just enough left undone (Hello, bad guy!) that I am left looking forward to the next book to find out what happens! -
Vincent Booth has been going crazy trying to stay the distance from Stella Hogan who has filled his club full of their favorite foods as well as cleaning each of the rooms. He can smell her scent everywhere he goes. The temptation becomes to difficult to resist especially when he finds that Stella has been hiding a secret, she needs his help and support. Can Booth who has his own demons find a comfort in the one woman who is looking to own his heart?
I liked this one a lot, I thought Booth was a bit of a bonehead initially but you get why as the story progresses. Stella was sweet but she was also a very strong woman who you don't quite get right off the bat, she was amazing. Great series, liked that each of the characters have their own unique stories. -
3 out of 5 stars
Booth and Stella were introduced in the first Wounded Souls book. I was intrigued with why Booth was obviously attracted to her, but treated her so poorly. Stella seemed so sweet and she took great care of everyone and I was hurt for her and the way he treated her.
This book was pretty good, but I had a hard time reconciling some of the sex scenes with the story line. I get that it’s fiction, but it went a little beyond what I would consider even feasible. And there were a few inconsistencies in other places that just didn’t make it great.
I think that this author has good potential, but a little more story and a little less sex would probably make the books better.
*** I voluntarily read a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review *** -
Stella and Booth
First off, let's say this is a new series and author for us, and we have to say that we loved the first book in this new amazing series and each and every book that came after.
I loved what this club stood for and the members who were part of the MC club. We often take for granted the sacrifices our soldiers make for us to keep us safe and the he** they go through and the long effects they have to live with. For me, I am eternally grateful for all they do to keep us safe. This club was created for a team of ex military soldiers and the men they served with. I loved the support system that this club had for each and every member as well as the former soldiers to come, it was a place for them to feel like they belonged and had purpose. What I loved most though as they had the right people to cope with the nightmares, PTSD, mood swings etc. to help them make it through the day. This really was such a touching story that it definitely touched your heart and is not a story that you would be forgetting anytime soon.
I really enjoyed this latest installment in this ongoing series. I loved the story from cover to cover.
I loved all the characters this story had whether it was an MC member, or all the future old ladies to come but, I had a real soft spot in my heart for Shiloh as she cracks me up!
~Our favorite Quotes~
Quote-“Going somewhere, Booth?” Steel’s smirk told me he knew exactly what I had up next. He’d had one with her only days ago. “Got a date with a fiery raven-haired squirt. She tore me a new one the last time I was late.” I laughed.
Quote-“Stella, are youse listening to me?” Shiloh questioned me, freeing me from my thoughts. “Oh, I’m sorry, sweetie, what did you say?” Shiloh let out a huff, shaking her head, her raven curls flying around her face. “Youse not wearing your listening ears, woman!”
Quote-“Vinnie, is you going to sit down and date me, or do I hafta find Darf?” Shiloh called out to me. Chuckling, I made my way to the table and sat my tall frame into the stupid as shit fucking smallest chair in the world. “I’m here, baby girl. Let’s get this date started.”
I loved the suspense but, most of all, I loved the amazing characters that the story had for us to enjoy and fall in love with. The story got even hotter, more suspenseful, and we learned more than a few secrets about a certain woman in the club. Was she living a double life?
The story was filled with so much love as well as brought us tons of laughs, especially when all the girls got together and then all He** broke loose.
LOL I am thinking that this is a good thing as it opened the eyes of the men of the club about what was right under their noses and if they didn't get the sh** together quickly they were going to lose those they already loved to another.
I loved Stella from the onset of the story, she was the sweetest, kindest, strongest person I ever met. I loved her fieriness and devotion for those she loved, I loved her protectiveness, (she was like a momma bear protecting her cubs) but, most of all she was an angel sent from heaven to spread her over-abundance of love that she housed within her heart to give comfort and love to those wounded souls. Furthermore, I love all the little things she did for the brothers and her little act's of kindness like making and keeping the men's favorite treats on hand.
I loved Booth from the onset as well. OMG ! Definitely swoon worth. Hot as He**! "Fanning myself !" I loved his fieriness and how protective of those he cared for and loved. I loved how his men loved and respected him. Booth was the brother's commanding officer in the military, and he ran his club like they were still there, and I believe that this is actually what the men needed as he was level-headed as well as smart and always went over the pro's and con's when making decisions to keep his family safe. I love that he was great under pressure. I found Booth to be a man who kept his personal feelings and needs close to the vest, as they say.
Booth and Stella made the cutest couple. I loved the struggles he had concerning is conscience when it came to Stella and that she was an innocent, he thought he would tarnish her in some way by wanting her and claiming her. I loved how he watched her from afar all the time and was always in his thoughts.I loved how protective he was of Stella and how once he gave is heart she became his whole world.
"Touching and Heart melting!"
~Our favorite Quotes~
Quote-I loved watching her. She was the most stunning, beautiful woman I had ever laid eyes on.
“I like when you call me Honey, too.” The barely whispered words only just reached my ears as I exited out of the kitchen. A grin suddenly split my face. Me too, Honey, me too.
Quote-I needed just a small taste. Dipping my head, I crashed my lips to hers, and feelings I had never felt before exploded in my body. Pulling her closer to me, I moved my mouth against hers, wanting to deepen the kiss, but I didn’t. I didn’t want to scare her off with my desperation to taste her. But oh, my fucking good God. Heaven had a name, and its name was Stella Hogan.
I called out, trying hard not to howl like a wolf that had just found his mate for life. Because, Miss Stella Hogan, you just became mine with that climax and that one word. Baby. She probably didn’t even realize she had said it, but I’d heard it. Right down to my black soul. And I fucking loved it. Game on, Honey. I am coming for you. And that was it.
This story as well as the series is emotionally engaging, and I really love that about a story as one minute your laughing, the next crying. I love that you feel connected to these characters. For me, they are all my favorites whether it's the men or women as they all have great personalities as well as their quirks that we love so much!
I love that the love story itself is riddled with and takes so many twists and turns. As the story progressed, you could not help but get emotionally attached to the characters, as they were all so love-able.
Awesome read! Recommended read to All!
A personal note: This is a series that needs to be read in order and although the story does not end on a cliffhanger, all the books are connected by one common tread and is an ongoing story all the way to the conclusion of the series. I personally read the series all at once, and I am glad I did because the moment I finished one book I started onto the next. -
Leah Sharelle just knocked my socks off with His Honey! Oh my word. I have just bumped every single guy off my book boyfriend list. Booth is number one and will stay there. Forever. Can I go back in time and read this for the first time again? Is that possible? Cause I really need to experience it again and again. I'm so in love with the Wounded Would MC. All of the guys are so damn special in their own ways!
For the life of me I can't figure out who Rogue is. I have some ideas, but I'm not 100% sold on them. He's back. The evil sadistic man. He's back and terrorizing this MC. He has killed one prospect but he hasn't done nearly the amount of damage he plans on.
Stella is what I'd describe as the "mother hen" of the club. In a good way. She's taking care of everything and everyone while quietly pining away for Booth. Booth is a cocky jerk at first. Then we realize the reason why and we melt. It shouldn't be forgotten that all these guys were military before club members and they all carry the invisible, some visible, scars from their duty. I'm fully invested in this MC and need to know everyone will be good and happy. I can't wait for the next book because I have a feeling Steel is going to break my heart before putting it back together again. -
Booth is a grade a Arsehole to Stella and she takes it better than I would lol. He has his reasons but man does he almost destroy her in the process. Stella is forgiving and even forgives Ingrid quick like. These two have one quick like relationship and it moves at warp speed. Its hard to believe how sweet he could he once he got past all the evil he was fronting with.
More of the same as in the first book. I mentioned in my earlier review that I'm reading the series in order but its book 3 I've wanted to read with tropes like OW drama, H loving OW, unrequited love that kind of thing. In the first book, the H (in this book) was hooking up with OW, except in this book we find out so lame. Have the conviction of your story line madam author. Again I didn't dnf as I wanted to but skim read just to ensure I know what happens with the MC's in the 3rd book.
I will say this author is showing potential in how she's set up the characters for other books in the series and enough hooks to keep you interested but the execution is lacking.
On to book 3. I really hope it doesn't disappoint. -
Fifth time round of reading Book 2 wow so in love with this series still all the feelings from the first time I am in Awe love love love your books your characters brilliant thank you gorgeous fierce family loving hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 the men hot Damn and the women wow I love the mystery of who it is I'm trying to work it out so far I think someone is leaking info from inside I have my suspicions of who it could be loving it can't wait for more. 😘😘😘🔥🔥🔥🔥💔💔❤❤❤❤ Seriously you all need this oooh my it still effects me.
My rating: 2 stars
What I liked: I liked how the women help each other out. I also liked the built up drama between Mia and Steel (the couple for the next book).
What I didn’t like: Unfortunately, this book was rough for me. First, I want to know why Stella’s(h) stepbrothers and stepfather wasn’t kicked out of her house. Also, for these MC guys to be so tough why didn’t they go after her evil step family and why didn’t the cops go after them after they beat her up. Second, how hard is it to find Rogue(the bad guy). It’s literally getting old how dumb the men are(if you know a bad guy is after your women why would you let them out of your sight or with just a prospect). I mean didn’t they learn that lesson last time :/ Third, why was Ingrid rude to Stella in the last book if nothing was going on between her and Booth(H). Lastly, why did the dog have to die :(
How hot was it: 3 out 5
Details/Triggers: H is the president of the MC and the h cleans for the club. h has a crush on the H but he keeps her at arms length. H actually calls in ow to take care of him which later we find out that she comes and studies in his room while he sleeps because he has PTSD. H finally decides to pursue the h when he finds out that the h is getting beaten up by her stepbrothers and stepfather. They finally are together and the bad guy from book 1 is still causing issues. The bad guy kills one of Steel’s dogs and blows up Mia’s car. Later in the book the girls go out and the evil stepbrothers and stepfather kidnap the h and the bad guy is with them. They beat up the h and stab her. They also make her sign over her house. (If you are hoping something happens to the bad people it doesn’t). H finds h on time. They get married and h is pregnant.
Final thoughts: I honestly just read this book to get a better understanding between Mia and Steel. I think I’m going to take a break and come back to read the next book (even though that book was the book I was looking forward to reading). -
Love Love Love this series (yep even after only 2 books in I can proudly say that). This series just has so much raw power and emotion to it. It’s so much more than just your average MC series. The Wounded Souls MC is comprised of Military men that have done and seen far too much. Brothers in war and peace that have come to rely on one another to keep their sanity. Men that are brought to their knees by a small 4 year old girl as well as their women. Nothing is more true in His Honey.
The Wounded Soldiers are lead by their commanding offer and now their MC Prez, Booth. Booth is a pillar of strength for his brothers yet fights his own personal war no one even suspects. An inner war that makes him keep his distance from His Honey, Stella. As for Stella she is the club’s housekeeper and cook who is secretly in love with Booth. Bit Stella has issues of her own. Issues that could ultimately destroy Booth and his club. So she does her job the very best she can in order to be around the brooding Prez of the club whenever she can.
But when secrets come out and troubles begin to rain down on the club will these two survive the aftermath? The storyline is full of action, suspense and emotional times with some amazingly hot scenes as well. Ms Sharelle’s has written a powerful storyline that will grip you heart and refuse to let go. 2 Thumbs Up for a great book and series. I highly recommend both. Trust me you’ll be glad you took the chance on The Wounded Warriors. -
Their enemy is back, but so is a new danger. Stella’s secret is finally exposed in an explosive way that no man in Wounded Souls expected. Secrets that have been hidden are exposed, and truths are told with devastating consequences.
Booth and Stella stole my heart. I really started to fall for the men and the women of the Wounded Souls series in HIS SWEETNESS, and those feelings only deepened with this story.
Booth is a pretty simple character. He is a alpha male, but has a vulnerability that he has hidden from everyone but a select few. Which is no surprise as all of the men of the MC appear to have been broken at one point in time, only to pull themselves back together. Or at least that I what I am gathering. But Booth really steps up the plate when he is called out and that was a beautiful scene to read in the story.
And Stella’s character is exactly what Booth needs. She is compassionate and understanding, giving and loving, and willing to sacrifice herself for others. She shows her strength with what is happening in her personal life and then when steps up with support for the other women of the MC. She definitely puts herself out there.
All in all, freaking awesome! The characters are easy to like and realistic. Any my Shiloh still plays her awesome part on this book! The story doesn’t revolve around just Booth and Stella, it also includes the other members and I got a little more of an insight into their lives than I had before. -
I'm most appreciative of Leah Sharelle not making me wait for His Honey, because I've been dying for Stella's story since His Sweetness, Book 1 in The Wounded Souls series. And no, it wasn't part 1 of her story, but it teased me enough that I've became a drama queen about the wait. So yeah, I devoured Book 2 in a very short amount of time (less than 2 hours to be exact). Anyway, I digress with my emotions. See, Booth is the The Wounding Souls MC President, but hurting my girl Stella so much that I have wanted to hurt him a TON! But Stella has serious secrets of her own, and I wasn't sure what was going on with her either, but they were of the dangerous variety. And now I know, and I dropped f-bombs throughout the whole story, because not only were her secrets revealed, but the twists of the enemy stalking the MC is ramping up with big danger, so I straight up sounded like a biker myself. Between all of this crazy, the sexy times lit things on fire, so no panties are safe. Added in, is the cast of secondaries, which a few have redirected my anger in new directions as they are hurting another one of my girls, Mia. And yet, there's that tiny human to steal the show, that gave me the comedic break I needed to keep me laughing. Anyway, I'm ready for the next book ASAP, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
His Honey is the second title in the Wounded Souls MC series, and I noticed a definite development in Leah's writing from the first book to this one. I would recommend reading the previous title His Sweetness prior to reading His Honey as the stories are interconnected and the story flows on from the first title although features a different main couple.
I found the characters of Booth and Stella to be endearing and complex. Both have pasts they would rather forget, and hide what they are going through.
Stella is a fighter, she's incredibly resilient, giving and caring and puts others needs before her own. Booth is the President of the Wounded Souls MC, and is loyal, and protective of those he calls his family. Behind closed doors this cock alpha is haunted by tragic events of the past.
I'm unsure where this title is set, but knowing that Leah is an Australian author, I noticed the use of quite a few Australian terms, that may not have the same meaning for other readers. For example the use of the word Pub.
Overall this is a MC romance, with a strong theme of family. This title is packed full of heat, heart, intrigue, action and suspense.
Leah has done a fabulous job of leaving the reader intrigue as to who is the perpetrator of events against the MC, and I will be eagerly awaiting future titles in this series. -
Wow this book was even better then book 1. I didn't think that was possible. I was so excited to start this book after finishing 1. I was not disappointed Booth and Stella are amazing characters. Booth has pushed Stella away over and over again, just cause he thought he was a broken veteran who didn't deserve happiness or love. Stella has been in love with booth and his hurtful words and taking Ingrid to his room hurt it took rogue hitting the club hard for booth to know Stella was his love and his everything. These two have their ups and down from Stella getting beat up by some family to the health scare. I loved watching these two love grow stronger and stronger in the end. My hats off to Leah she really knows how to pull out all the emotions and feelings in these books. I cannot wait to start the next book. I am so in love with this series so far. This is a must read guys. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
Booth and Stella’s relationship is complicated on the best of days. When he isn’t ignoring her existence he’s being a real d*ck to her. All she has ever done is love him and want a relationship with him, even taking on the job of “maid” for him and his MC brothers. She is hiding something in Booth is determined to figure out what it is. When her secrets are brought to light, Booth loses his hold on temper. ABut Booth is keeping secrets from Stella also. Will she be able to live with them when his secrets come to light? Will Booth be able to protect her when trouble comes knocking at her door?
I love this series!!! I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
I absolutely loved this book. I have been dying to read this book and I definitely was not dissapointed. Leah Sharelle wrote an absolute masterpiece here with booth and Stella and continuing the story line from His Sweetness.
Booth and Stella were an absolute pleasure to read and getting a look into all the others lives was beautiful to read. Shiloh is definitely still adorable and can't wait to read more of her antics. This book was really well written, they storyline flowed and was easy to emmerse yourselves with the charecters.
I would recommend this book and author to anyone who loves getting immersed in an amazing book and epic love. I can't wait to read more of this series. I am dying to see which couple has the next book. Happy Reading -
Found myself skipping stuff when I reached chapter 35. This book was quite unusual when you would find hard ass, kinda heartless and emotionless alphas in typical MC books but in this the men shed tears quite often and p***y whipped pretty early. Maybe it's just too weepy for me. The h was kinda weak in a way that she just accepted abuse from her step brothers and step dad. She didn't try to fight back and didn't want to tell the guys because she didn't want to worry them with new problems. I didn't read the previous book so I was a bit lost in some parts but I got the general idea of the issue. Not going to read the previous nor the next book, sorry. Just wasn't interested enough. The writing was not my favorite as well. Not very well executed imo.
