65 million years ago, an asteroid hit Earth, wiping out the dinosaurs and changing the course of life on this planet forever. What we didn't know is that this impact disconnected Earth from the Multispacial Aether Nodal Aggregation (MANA) network, and the System. Life continued, but it wasn't until a passing science vessel noticed that an entire planet of sentients had grown up without the system that anyone realized something was wrong. A repair team was sent out, but they were killed and stuck in a lab by the natives before they could finish the job. Until a certain President visited Area 51, and pushed the button that changed the world.

But this story isn't about that President (he's got blown up, anyways). It is about a complete scum of a human being, an absolutely horrible person who gets forcibly changed from a Human to a Dungeon Core thanks to the fact that humans are too common in his area. So what does a bastard do if he's taken from his old life as a pervy high school coach and thrust into the role of a dungeon?

Welcome to the Apocalypse (Lewd Dungeon, #1) Reviews

Well this series starts off with a coach anal raping one of his volleyball players and just gets worse. I wish you could leave a 0 for the rating but 1 is the lowest you can leave. Do yourself a favor and find anything else to read.

I could not finish this. Neat idea, but ... just, no.

    Naughty fantasy lit

I liked the premise of the new world... What if the "fantasy" world was stablished over the "normal" world, changed it and forced us to adapt to it. What if due to overpopulation and lack of other species some people was changed due to the change of the world... Add to that that the MC of the story is an amoral pervert from the beginning and you have a naughty dungeon that will make you horny as you go further down and you have to find "release" alone or with your party...
Good storytelling, a bit graphic and not precisely for all audiences but a good premise all along.

This is the first book of a series titled Lewd Dungeon. I love apocalypse stories; I love gaming; and I sometimes love naughty books. On the other hand it was written by a male and probably a young one. That's usually a bad combination for a tawdry erotic novel, but what the hay!? I rolled the dice! (See what I did there? HA! I make me laugh.)

The story is told from the main character's point of view and opens with what he's doing in the moment the world changes. He wakes to find he has been turned into a dungeon, like those we find in an RPG, and the world has been transformed into a fantasy setting. As a gamer this captured my attention. Unfortunately, it immediately degrades into page after page of the author describing every skill, ability, monster, trap, and setting, as well as his inner monologue as our character makes his choices. As you can imagine, this became rather painful to read, so I skimmed through that entire portion of the book.

Once the story is back on track, we get a hit and miss description in the first couple of rooms, then suddenly our adventurers are at the end of the dungeon. This is where they must face the avatar of our main character, but instead of the climactic confrontation it should have been, the encounter is glossed over, and before things even really begin, the survivors are back at their base of operations. The author skimmed over nearly all the sex and action taking place, or skipped it entirely. It was all of the cheap without any of the thrills.

The love this concept. There was a lot of opportunity to make this book the kind of amazing gritty, dirty, and exciting trash novel experience that keeps you up until 3am because you can't put it down. Unfortunately it doesn't deliver.

    Good Read.

A LitRPG Dungeon Core story. A adult theme story (not for everyone). A deviant dungeon is the center of this interesting story of the leveling of the dungeon.

An Aptly Titled BDSM Dungeon Core Novella

When a domineering rapist becomes a Dungeon Core mere sexual slavery is the least horrific of the practices in which the perverse personality who becomes the Genius Loci of the Dungeon engages.

This novella will likely appeal to those who enjoy stories of either, or, more likely both, BDSM Erotica and Dungeon Core genres. Those who enjoy LitRPG genre stories may also find this this very adult tale of interest.

15 June 2021 edit, after reading all episodes of this series currently available.

To paraphrase Richard Dawkins, Kuronoth, "Demon of the Dungeon" could arguably be the second most evil character in all of fiction. His iron clad rules about keeping his dungeon "tough, but fair" for those who accept his contracts; not speaking lies while in his demon persona; and leaving plenty of ways for those who challenge him to retreat before dying or making a deal to save their lives in his dungeon mitigates his evil a bit. At least enough to be better JHVH.

There are typos and grammatical errors which occur throughout all episodes of this serialized story. One is so common it becomes a "verbal tick" as the author consistently misuses the infinitive form of many verbs; most often by writing ". . . try and (verb). . . ." rather than using ". . . try to (verb) . . . ." Hopefully these errors will be fixed soon.

    A short and silly book

The plot is the following : an American President push a wrong button and trigger an alien artifact called the System. The System brings chaos in the world changing planet earth into a RPG Playground. The main character is a perverted high school coach that is turned into a Dungeon! Or better saying Dungeon Master that start attracting adventurers with names inspired by TV Shows and theater blockbusters. Of course the dungeon master is a pervert and likes sexual. Tottaly stupid and predictable book. Won't see me reading the next volume.

    Gamers welcome

Being of the preGamer generation, I felt a bit underprepared for this book. It is fairly easy to follow, but not what I expected. The dungeon concept does not appeal to me

  • Vikarti

Good dungeon-core book. I'm waiting for more books in series.
Yes, it's dark but well, you was warned about it and other Stuart's books are much darker.

  • Edward Zeauskas

    Meh.

It was ok, you can tell it was a first go. I do look forward to reading the others and see the writer grow.

  • Sandy

    Interesting premise

Take the worst human being possible and turn him into a dungeon. Definitely lead but it is interesting and you can skip the sex scenes.

  • Mr C. J. Dearing

    Mixed feelings

The central character, the ex school coach, is a nasty and unpleasant person, not really someone I want to think about or focus on, but he does make a good dungeon and villain, so mixed feelings here.

This is pretty much straight up rape porn. Well, perhaps not that bad, but the basic theme is there. The story world seems pretty well planned out, if not a little trite.
