The Fishers: An Amish life collection: 1-5 Reviews

The Fishers, An Amish Life 1 – 5, is an enjoyable read that was engaging with each novella in the series. Wyse and Marshall penned a picturesque tale in each novella with plenty of farm life adventures, family, friends, misunderstandings, new beginnings laughter, romance and faith. Each novella built on the previous one with Forging Friendship, the fourth one, going back in time when Otto Lapp moved from Barnville to live with his daughter Sarah. The generational connection of Jacob Fisher to Otto Lapp, Lapp to Caleb Fisher, and then Lapp to the Stoltzfus and King family was touching. This is an exceptional book that paints a true picture of Amish life and living on a farm. I look forward to reading more about the Fisher’s and King’s since each family is growing by the end of this sweeping collection.
I received a complimentary copy of this book as a winner on a blog giveaway. I was not required to write a review; however, I have expressed my sincere thought. -

This was an okay book. It wasn't as interesting as I had hoped, but it had quite a bit of scripture and it was positive. -
