The first four books in this series were rather humorous because they were so ridiculous. They have been a fun little respite after reading books on the more serious side because of it.
Unfortunately, this is the first in the ‘Lesbian Boss’ series that I actually found quite disturbing rather than tongue in cheek. I’m not certain I’ll continue on after this one…
Valerie and Audrey are currently in Italy, continuing their ‘orgasms around the world tour’ after their quick stop in Seoul to have a threesome buffet in book 4.
After providing her ‘queen’ with several mind bending squeals of pleasure, Audrey is left high and dry when Valerie receives a phone call from her daughter, Katie. Poor Audrey, masturbation just isn’t working, so she gets in her pajamas and resigns herself to sleep. When Valerie returns from her phone call, some funny moments occur with a green ‘alien’ dildo with tentacles. Vey strange, but playful and amusing stuff. Valerie becomes the ‘alien queen’ ready to mate her human lover.
Yeah, strange stuff…but this is what makes it so damn funny.
Had this continued on in this vein, I probably would have continued to find it humorous. However, when Audrey insists on going to see Valerie’s daughter in an attempt to repair Valerie and Katie’s relationship, shit goes horribly wrong.
Katie is one f*!cked up little girl, but it should come as no surprise that, of course, Audrey has sex with her. What started out somewhat consensual becomes a giant nightmare. Let me just throw this out there because the lack of these particular things are what had me shaking my head and getting really mad:
1. Consent is sexy; and even if given at first, when someone yells ‘stop,’ you f*!king stop, Katie (so, trigger warning)….
2. If you’re going to practice any form of BDSM, safe words and aftercare are essential, but I suppose that’s a lot to ask of a crazy person.
I actually thought this may take a turn and end up with some kind of Stockholm Syndrome storyline, but nope…Audrey gets away and we’re left with a cliffhanger.
So, do I recommend this? Eh, not really. I wish I had just skipped right over it and moved on to book 6. No rating because I have no idea what I’d rate it…the first half was funny, the second half was too twisted and made me uncomfortable. -
To Serve a Princess (My Husband's Lesbian Boss #5) finds Audrey and her billionaire lover Valerie Pryce in Venice where they enjoy the antique splendor of the Italian city and each other. Even though they are screwing with an intensity that scares the gondoliers off the boats outside their hotel window (bonus: behold the alien strap-on dildo in all it’s weird tentacled glory!), there is the matter of Valerie’s daughter that dampens the lusty goings-on.
Katie refuses to meet with her mother, no matter how hard Valerie is pleading. Audrey wants to help mend fences and offers to go to Verona to talk some sense into the girl. Valerie is reluctant because she knows what her flesh and blood is capable of and she don’t want to see her new lover get hurt, but surprisingly she lets Audrey go the next day.
What Audrey finds in Verona boggles the mind. The young and beautiful Katie lives in an old church that has been completely converted into a den of depravity. Having lived with more money than God for all of her young life, the jaded miss Pryce indulges in drugs fueled orgies and sadistic games to get her kicks. But the shine is wearing off and now she is delighted to find her mother’s new lover on her doorstep, ready to be debased. Poor Audrey does not grasp yet what level of humiliation awaits her. Will she be able to accommodate the cruel ‘princess’ in a way that gets mother and daughter on speaking terms again? And how far is she willing to go?
And who is this mystery woman lurking in the shadows outside?

Themes: things are getting pretty rough for Audrey, a jaded daughter with a sadistic streak, apparently Katie’s pussy is as sweet as maple syrup *snort*, the basement dungeon, I want to know what they do in the trampoline room, it ends in another cliffhanger.

Omg I really wasn’t ready for this book, I couldn’t put it down and it was so crazy and entertaining! I need to know more about their family and how will poor Aubrey handle all this.. omg I can’t wait for the next book! -
