Leverage Leadership 2.0: A Practical Guide to Building Exceptional Schools Reviews
-
Overall some good ideas in this book to work towards improving a public school. However, some of the ideas focus more on compliance rather than true engagement.
-
Generally a good leadership book with solid ideas. I'm not a fan of some of the changes from LL1.0 to this one though, and I think the authors overexaggerate the importance of teachers talking about data in school improvement.
-
I'm thankful for the the detailed descriptions and steps for school leadership. I also like the way levers are prioritized. I plan to use many of the resources provided this school year.
-
Read this for class but really want to use the ideas in this book to improve achievement.
-
Great items, examples, tools to be practical pre planning and during school leaders' varied tasks and duties.
-
Priority planning and Data-driven discussion are useful information outlined in this book.
-
A nice companion to Get Better Faster.

Bambrick knows what he is talking about! He outlines a systematic approach to school improvement with 7 key levers that can be wielded to yield school success.
