this book was ok, it was pretty boring and anticlimactic he just won a lot of medals and set a bunch of records and that made Hitler mad, then when he got back to the U.S he was not really treated the best. I recommend this book to anyone who needs a quick read.

This informational graphic novel is just about 30 pages but packed full of historical information involving Jesse Owens. It was interesting to learn that the United States almost did not participate in the olympics that year in Germany because of Hitler and his prejudices. Even Jesse, with all his talent, was originally opposed to going and competing. However, it was decided that we could go to Germany and show them what athletes of different colors and races were capable of. The book then explains the accomplishments of Owens and also what he went on to do late in life. Again, this is a quick enjoyable read, and one I would recommend!
