Comic Relief Reviews
-
First ten years of Comic Relief routines gathered in one place. Wonderful. I adore Whoopi Goldberg. I listen to her views and they resonate with my own.
-
Quite prophetic. Paula Poundstone is pure comic genius
-
It is what it is. Decent laughs, but the constant reminders of homeless got old. I know why they were there, but still.
-
Read this book by chance. Funny but dated. Half the jokes are about John Bobbit who apparently was a comedy good mine when the book was published.
-
This was a bit of a mixed bag, but a look at the names involved in this collaborated effort should be all you need to know about whether this book belongs on your bookshelf. The weak chapters are more than outweighed by the strong. Yes, some of the contributions are less than stellar, but others more than make up for that with their side-splitting humor. Recommended.

I found this in my sister's house one night and read it, just a bunch of stand-up comedy from the old benefit special.
-
A collection of routines done on the charity show with the sobering messages added in for dramatic effect.
-
I think I picked this up at a dollar store a million years ago. Some comedy routines done for this particular charity effort...and they're not even all that great.
-
Some very good bits, some not so good. It did make ke laugh out loud more than a few times.
