Going Rogue takes us to Rogue, VP of the Cursed Ravens, and someone I've been low key stalking throughout this series. He wasn't a super strong presence in the previous books but he was featured enough that he had me real curious. So after reading Knuckle Down I jumped right into this one to get more of the brooding biker.

His lady is Zoe, a caretaker at the facility his mother is in, and she's not new to the world of dating a biker-which is why she wants nothing to do with Rogue when he first comes around. But Rogue doesn't give up easily and soon Zoe is on the back of his bike right where he wants her. From there the story is full of exciting moments between these two that had me captivated.

I thought Zoe and Rogue worked really well together and they're probably one of the cutest couples from this series. They had their differences, and Zoe could be a little more uptight than the previous heroines, but together her more strait-laced personality actually blended perfectly with Rogue's more free one. I adore when authors mix character personalities so well, and that's exactly what happened here.

Ms. Fernando also throws in a little action-y type angst near the end, which I did find interesting and I thought it took the book to a more serious-biker level than I've seen in this series. I did enjoy the fact that it pushed the boundaries some, but then that excitement was kind of ruined when that was resolved and finished in a rushed manner. I think I would have just liked a more clear ending on everything that happened. And I also didn't really understand the point of something that was revealed.

But overall, I still really enjoyed this couple and their story and that is something not even a rushed ending could have ruined. Zoe and Rogue were just adorable and I already can't wait to re-read their story again. I'm pretty sure this is the last book for this series but I'll be rooting for more to come from these characters.

    What I Liked:

I read books one and two last week, both of which have not been published, and I had been wondering how long it would be before the third book (Going Rogue) would appear on Edelweiss, as its predecessors had. Lo and behold, not two days later, this book showed up on the site, and I downloaded it immediately. I'm jumping the gun here, in posting the review for an August '18 publication in May, but I couldn't wait. I really enjoyed the first two books in this series, and I'm happy to say that I liked Going Rogue.

Rogue is the VP of the Cursed Ravens club - he's the backbone of the club, and the one who shoulders much of the responsibility. He always seems to have a lot going on, from helping his club brothers with their new babies, to taking the lead on club deals, to watching his mother wither way in an old-age home, suffering from dementia. It's there that he meets Zoe, the nurse who takes care of his mother. Zoe always knew Mrs. Kennedy had a son, but she never knew he was a tall, darkly handsome, very muscular man with wicked charm and quiet, lethal power. It's lust at first sight, but both of them will quickly start to realize how far they'll go for the other.

I adored Rogue in the first two books, and could not wait for him to get his own book. It's unfortunate that this book is written exclusively from Zoe's first-person POV, but Rogue is still so present and so swoony - it didn't matter that his POV wasn't featured. He dominates the book from start to finish. Rogue is deadly and precise when he needs to be - as the VP of the MC, he has to be. But he's also thoughtful, sweet, and considerate. He's good with babies (none are his own - they're his "nephews"), and he's a sweetheart of a boyfriend. And he can sing and play the guitar! Throw in the muscles and pretty face, and you've got the full package. (That too. *nudge nudge*)

Zoe is the perfect complement. She is sweet and gentle, which is great for her profession. She has a kind heart and a lot of patience. Mrs. Kennedy (Rogue's mother) likes her a lot, because she is so kind and considerate. But Zoe isn't a passive person; she knows her mind and she's very sassy too. She isn't as aggressive as previous heroines (I don't say "aggressive" in a negative way, mind you), but she isn't passive either. She fits Rogue very well.

The two of them together are fiery hot but also richly sweet. They are a great pair. They have instant chemistry, but they also mesh together well in terms of personalities. Both of them are very selfless and giving.

In terms of the romance, as always, the pair have hot chemistry and this leads to very sexy sexy-times. I only wish there were more sexy times on page! Rogue is super yummy, a "good" type of alpha male. Zoe is sweet and assertive too, and that dynamic works for the pair.

There are a lot of cameos from the MC members, such as Ace, Knuckles, Shack, and the president. Erin and Celina are very present as well, and there is some surprises along the way involving some of the ladies and gentlemen of the club. I love how the author kept us readers in the loop with the rest of the club. The whole gang is so fun and get along so well.

I have to mention the strong sisterhood that emerges, in this book. Erin and Celina are cousins and always had each other's back, in the previous books. Zoe and her older sister Vanessa are an even stronger pair. But the four ladies together are unstoppable and unshakable. I love how quickly they all become friends and how well they get along and support each other.

The same can be said about the men in the MC. Ace, Knuckles, Rogue, Shack, and Prez have a close bond - especially Ace, Knuckles, and Rogue. They support each other and keep the brotherhood close. Loyalty is everything to these men, and it really shows, in the story. The MC aspect of the story (and series) is alive and well in this book.

The ending is such a wonderful HEA! We get a peek into everyone's future, in the epilogue. But I especially loved Rogue and Zoe's ending. Theirs was hard-fought and almost had a tiny bit of bittersweet something to it, but they worked through their issues. I love how communication is a big part of the resolution, and how quickly the couple works through their problems. This is so important to see, in romances. Anyway, the ending was really satisfying. I'm sad that the series is over (at least I think it is), but I loved the ending.

    What I Did Not Like:

I guess there could always be more sex (ha!), and I'm also sad that the series is over. Could Vanessa get her own book, maybe? She is HILARIOUS. I relate to her - I'm not as dramatic as she is (she is awesome, "dramatic" isn't a bad thing), but I'm probably as sassy and exuberant, so I think we'd get along.

    Would I Recommend It:

I highly recommend this particular book (it's so sexy and sweet!), but also the entire series. There are so many great aspects of the series. Yes, it's a motorcycle club romance and those always have the rough-and-tumble appeal. But there is also a strong brotherhood, a growing sisterhood, slow-burn sexy romances, tough heroines, swoony heroes... I really enjoyed this series.

    Rating:

4 stars. I'm so sad that the series is over. Part of me is hoping that Vanessa gets her own book. Given that the epilogue of this book goes somewhat ahead into the future, I'm not sure her book would be a thing, but maybe a novella? It would be nice. I adore Vanessa!

Going Rogue was the third book in the Cursed Ravens MC series by Chantal Fernando.

Rogue was the gorgeous VP who was also the hidden musical talent within the MC. He and his two brothers were raised by their single mom. He was close to her but she was suffering from dimentia and didn’t even recognize him on some days. As a result, he had a heavy heart but he still visited her almost every day.

Zoe worked at the nursing home where Rogue’s mother lived. Anne was one of her favorite patients. She had heard about Anne’s gorgeous son but had never met him until they intersected in the parking lot one afternoon.

It was written from a single POV, Zoe’s. I loved both characters and couldn’t get enough. I also loved the supporting characters - both old and new. And Vanessa - OMG - she must have her own story. What a trip!

Although I loved the book, I desired more detail. Without Rogue’s POV, there were too many gaps within the MC storyline which made it confusing at times and I craved more information. Therefore, I rated it a 3.5; which rounded to a 4 on this review site.

I liked the overall storyline. Along with the relationship development, Fernando dove into the disease of dementia and the family impact. It was a tough subject but she portrayed it well.

All in all, it was a fairly quick read. It was also humorous, well written and entertaining. We still have a lot to look forward to with Shack, Shovel and Prez’s stories still to be told.

  • Suzi (Obsessive Reading Disorder)

This is the third book of the series and has perhaps the most interesting story line so far. Rogue is the club VP and he has an aging mother living in a care facility. Zoe is her caretaker. Loved their meet cute! Really loved tat rogue realizes from the start that Zoe is special. He takes his time to get to know her and her him. They become friends first.

All the range of emotions in this one--humor, sadness, angst and steam. We get to see a bit more action through the MC in this book, finally. Wonderful secondary characters. Zoe's sister is the bomb! Great addition to the series. Looking forward to reading more!

Going Rogue is the third in the Cursed Ravens MC series, and this is Rogue's story and it was just as good as I was hoping that it would be. This book was a bit different than the previous two books and I really liked the softer tone to the beginnings of their relationships...it had such a sweet romantic feel to it. Book two wasn't my favorite so I was hoping that this would be a better experience and it definitely was...I had so much fun with this one that I breezed through it in one sitting which doesn't happen very often so YES this was such a keeper.

In this story we have our book begin with our heroine Zoe, who works in a nursing home and has been connecting with a new resident, a lady that is snarky, swears on ocassion and has a great laugh and has the most handsome son who catches Zoe's eye. She knows that she probably isn't good enough for him, but there is a connection between them. Rogue visits his mother regularly, who is suffering from dementia and a heart condition. Some days are good for them and other days are a real struggle for Rogue emotionally. He has such a close bond with his mother and seeing her slowly fade away is killing him inside.

But then he catches the eye of his mothers nurse, and his heart and other body parts go into overdrive. He takes it slow with her, bringing her lunch on her breaks, showing her his sweet baby his club has adopted for their friend who is in prison, and not being too rough around the edges for Zoe. Zoe is not made of glass though, but she does have reservations about being with a biker. She was once with a biker who was only using her since he already had a old lady. But our Rogue is sweet on Zoe and doesn't want to do anything to jeaopardize their relationship. But Rogue is VP of the club and that brings certain risks to their relationship and Zoe will need to decided if what she feels for Rogue is strong enough to handle it and be his support when he needs it.

Going Rogue was such a wonderful and charming read and I am thinking it might be my favorite one of the series. Rogue I have always had a soft spot for, and just seeing the gentler side to him just was so sweet. I loved how this book begins and how their relationship develops...its more slower paced and I loved how gradual their relationship begins to form. Its not too slow, but not too fast either. The story really speeds up when Zoe visits the club for the first time and meets the fellow club members and we see how they all accept Zoe into the fold and boy Zoe really suprised me in this one. Because she was so accepting of what Rogue did for the club, and helped him when he really needed her and she just stepped up.

We did see a tense situation that forms towards the end that involves Rogue's mom and even though I understood what she was doing, it really broke my heart to see how it was tearing Zoe apart inside.  And It was pretty rough seeing her work through what was right for her and I felt like she made the best decision that she could live with and yes Rogue is pretty stubborn at the end, but this story needed some conflict and seeing them work through their problems and resolve it in the way that they did was pretty fantastic. You see both sides and when it matters, they resolve it.

Overall I found Going Rogue to be a sweet and sensational romance with strong willed characters, a passionate love affair, a sexy biker hero who is great with kids, a strong heroine who has a compassionate heart and a story that will make you happy and satisfied!!

I love being back in the world of the Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club; their sense of family, brotherhood, and loyalty are what drive their actions and their decisions, and the women these men choose to give their hearts to give them exactly what they need amidst the danger and/or deadly circumstances their bikers face.

Zoe and Rogue may appear to be the quintessential ‘good girl’ and ‘bad boy,’ but upon closer inspection, there’s a sassy and adventurous woman beneath the sweet, caring, and compassionate caretaker and a man who loves his mother more than anything and feels helpless and haunted by the fact that he can’t save his mother or shield her from suffering.

Zoe and Rogue’s relationship starts slowly because of Zoe’s fears, but Rogue’s persistence and charm lowers Zoe’s defenses and even though Zoe remains hesitant, little by little, Rogue proves that he’s nothing like the guys from her past and that even though his life comes with a wide range of risks, it’s clear that she means something to Rogue and he’s not afraid to make his claim on her heart.

I love the bond that forms among the bikers’ old ladies and the fact that they watch out for each other, providing much needed insights and advice as the MC world can be difficult to maneuver.

Rogue’s mom, Mrs. Kennedy, and Zoe’s sister, Vanessa, add so much to the storyline; the fact that Zoe takes care of Rogue’s mom in the aged-care facility is what allows Zoe and Rogue’s path to cross and Vanessa helps Zoe to see just how isolated Zoe’s made herself since her last boyfriend’s lies and the death of her grandfather.

Going Rogue is a great addition to Chantal Fernando’s The Cursed Ravens MC series; this MC is more than a club…it’s a family and it means everything to each brother, and as a fellow biker finds his woman, she becomes vital to the club as well, and I’m hoping that Zoe’s sister, Vanessa, gets her own biker and becomes a part of the chaos and mayhem but more importantly, the love.

I don't know if I've said it before, but I feel I need to say that Chantal Fernando is my favorite author when it comes to MC books. Their original stories, sassy, hot and sweet. And I love every one of them.

Going Rogue is the third book in the series The Cursed Ravens and tells the story of the Vice President of the Club and of Zoe, a lovely woman who works in nursing home that Rogue's mother is.And it is in this scenario that these two characters meet and go exploring things between them

This book is very sweet. I liked how these two characters have developed a friendship before everything.I always love to see the sweet side of those bikers, and here I can see that not just Rogue relationship with zoe but also with your mother who suffers from dementia and heart problems.See Rogue with these two melted my heart.Another plus of this book is to see the Club as a family, taking care of each other (never get tired of it), as well as the friendship that Zoe and your sister Vanessa developed with Celina and Erin,These four women together took laughter throughout the book and I loved the friendship born between them.

I don't know if this will be the last book in this series or not, I can only wish that more books of this guys out there. And if you like a book of bikers without much drama, with bikers bossy but also sweet, charismatic and courageous heroines and a group together who are always there for you, I can only recommend you not only this book as all books MC this amazing author.

Good read. It just seemed to spin in one circle for a long time. It was a relationship book, no real drama or action at all. The Raven MC was totally in the background. They popped up at the end with some real made up drama that didn’t go anywhere. I didn’t feel a great deal of chemistry between them. Rouge seemed mysterious and have more of a background then what unfolded in this story.

It wasn’t bad, but it just wasn’t great. I just wanted it to be more than it was.

"Sometimes you just have to go where the connection is."

Each book I read in the Cursed Raven MC series makes me fall even deeper for them. I agree that they "—are all a mix of inappropriate and respectful, dangerous and goofy, which makes for a lot of fun." Their sense of humor is contagious and their love and support for each other make me want to be part of their unique and beautiful family.

If you've read any of the previous books you will have already met Rogue. He's the almost too gorgeous one who also has a beautiful voice. Needless to say, he has no lack of female companionship and you can see how he came by his road name. All he has to do is walk into a room, but then he goes and picks up his guitar and starts singing, and it's all over. He's more effective than tequila for making their clothes fall off.

Zoe meets Rogue's mother first. She takes care of her at the nursing home where she works. She's actually her favorite patient, often amusing her with her sass and wit. She's not shy with her language or opinions and they enjoy each other's company. When she first gets a look at Rogue he has the same effect on her as he does all those before her. She can't deny he's breathtaking and charming. He doesn't hide his interest in her, but she shies away from agreeing to see him outside of the nursing home. Yes, she puts him in the 'friend zone', which is a first for him.

I really enjoyed this sweet and entertaining story, swooning and sighing as Rogue tries to bring her out of her shell. But I have to give the credit to her sister Vanessa for most of the laugh-out-loud moments. She's a mess and I have a girl crush on her. I've been doing some mental matchmaking and I already have a man picked out for her. I know that she becomes family by association if her sister is with a member, but why not have a man of her own, right? I can't wait to see who's featured next, the line forms here...

    •••••••••••

REVIEW: 3.75 stars--GOING ROGUE is the third instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult CURSED RAVENS erotic, MC, romance series focusing on the men and women of the Cursed Ravens MC. This is Cursed Ravens MC VP Ezekiel ‘Rogue’ Kennedy, and nurse’s aide Zoe Kane. GOING ROGUE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary. The CURSED RAVENS MC series is a spin off from the author’s WIND DRAGONS MC. There is a slight cross-over with some of the characters of the previous series.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Zoe and Rogue) GOING ROGUE follows the building relationship between Cursed Ravens MC VP Ezekiel ‘Rogue’ Kennedy, and nurses aid Zoe Kane. Zoe Kane works as a nurse’s aide, and has befriended Mrs. K, a woman suffering with dementia who at times thinks clear enough to let Zoe know just how she feels. Meeting Mrs. K’s son, biker and Cursed Ravens MC vice president Rogue Kennedy, finds Zoe falling for a man whose love for his mother sets off the warm and fuzzy for our story line heroine. What ensues is the building relationship between Zoe and Rogue, and the potential fall-out as Zoe comes clean with a secret, a secret that could destroy Ezekiel Kennedy.

The attraction between Rogue and Zoe is immediate but Zoe has been burned in the past by another biker, a member of a rival gang. Rogue’s pursuit of Zoe is sweet including their lunch-time picnics, and introduction to the MC. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

All of the previous story line couples play secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to Rogue’s mother Anne Kennedy, a once feisty and strong woman who is slowly succumbing to dementia and age. Zoe’s sister Vanessa is a fascinating character-an over the top, colorful and charismatic thirty-year old woman who is drawn to the Cursed Ravens’ president, like a moth to a flame. The camaraderie between Zoe, Vanessa, Erin and Celina is fun, fast and furious!

GOING ROGUE is a story of family and friendships; secrets and betrayal; passion and love. Most of the MC dealings and business transactions/jobs occur behind the scenes resulting in a ‘vanilla’ and softer MC story- the violence and danger are taken for granted; we are not privy to the how and why of some of the events, and the quick resolution without any details was disappointing. The epilogue fast-forwards the story line approximately three years. Let’s hope the author fills in the missing time-line with future stories. The premise is entertaining and engaging; the romance is seductive and sweet ; the characters are dynamic and colorful. GOING ROGUE is a sexy, sassy and spirited story line with an emotional and heart breaking undercurrent of dementia and loss.

    Woohoo! Finally, Rogue is here!

I have been impatiently awaiting Rogue's story from the minute I started reading Ace Of Hearts, and Ms Fernando has not disappointed.

In the previous books, we know something is going on with his mother, and now we find out all the whole kit and kaboodle.

We actually meet our leading lady Zoe before we see Rogue in this book, and right from the start she grabs you by the heart and doesn't let go. She is stuck in a rut and nothing seems to be able to drag her out.

Until Rogue. They have a mutual acquaintance in his mother. Oh, how she broke my heart.

I couldn't help but be Zoe and Rogue's biggest cheerleader. They just need to be together. It has to happen!

I freaking adore all the Cursed Raven ladies - I liked them in their own books, but together they sure are a force to be reckoned with!

Heartbreaking, emotional, beautiful. Ms Fernando had me gripped by this story from the first word to the last.

I can't wait to see what she brings us next.

I fell I love with the men of the Cursed Ravens MC almost immediately, and when Rogue made his first appearance I knew I just HAD to get to know him...intimately. I had been so excited to finally read his story and while I did enjoy everything about this book, I felt like I didn’t get enough of him.

In Going Rogue we follow Rogue and Zoe on their journey to love. Rogue’s mother has failing health and lives in an assisted living facility while Zoe is one in her caretakers. When Mrs. K has her good days, Zoe just adores the foul mouthed older woman and enjoys spending her work days talking to her. And on those bad days, her heart breaks to see her lost inside herself.

By chance she meets Mrs. K’s son, Rogue and shares an instant connection with him. But having been with a biker before she’s not sure he’s the type of guy she should be with; however, Rogue quickly shows her that he’s not what she expected. Beyond being beyond all realms of sexy, he’s kind and gentle and sweet. And Rogue just can’t resist her kindhearted nature and total sass.

With more of an “MC” style story line Going Rogue does give it more of a feel I’m used to in a MC romance and I just adored the characters and their story; especially Zoe’s wild, free-spirited hippie sister, Vanessa. I REALLY did enjoy this book. I think I just had my hopes of getting a bit more of a connection with Rogue. Nevertheless, this was another wonderful Cursed Ravens MC novel.

    description

Throughout the Cursed Ravens MC series there has been one character who has intrigued me the most over all and he goes by the name of Rogue.

Rogue is the Vice President of the Cursed Ravens MC. He’s the pretty boy of the club, but don't tell him that, and he’s also the man who dominates the stage with his voice. I have been wanting Rogue’s story since the very first time he was mentioned in Ace of Hearts. I wanted to know more about this man and who he was on the inside.

Going Rogue isn’t all ‘pretty songs’ though. In Going Rogue we learn of Rogues mother and her struggle with Dementia. We also witness Rogue’s struggle and his inability to grasp his mother’s disease. Having had a grandmother that went through this disease, I relate to Rogue in many ways. My heart broke repeatedly for him. I admit I cried a few times when witnessing Rogue’s anguish.
One thing I loved about this novel that trumps all others is the fact that Zoe is a nurse working with elders who suffer with Dementia and Alzheimer. I loved the empathy that Zoe’s character added to this novel. She was a heartwarming source that helped heal the heartbreak.

Overall, Going Rogue was a great addition to the Cursed Ravens MC Series. Rogue was everything I wanted in a main character plus so much more. However, I feel as if a main aspect of Rogue’s character was looked over, that being his musician side. I felt in the other books Rogue was looked on as if he was a rockstar in the making. His voice was always mentioned, and I was a little let down that his voice was put on the back burner. I did really enjoy this novel, I just wanted more of the musician aspect mentioned and added.

Going Rogue and the The Cursed Ravens MC Series is a softer biker series that just makes you feel good. While I normally crave the raw and gritty biker romances, I've come to enjoy the softer side from these men.

In Going Rogue, we get Rogue's story. He's the VP of the Curse Ravens and if you've been following this series, he's probably been on your radar. He's the one that was more in the background but you knew he was special and wanted more. Well, we got our more and let me tell you, he is definitely  special. He's strong, sexy, and has a huge heart. His love for Zoe was so sweet.

I also enjoyed Zoe. I thought she was strong when she needed to be and vulnerable when when necessary. Her relationship with not only Rogue but the rest of the club and their women is strong. In fact, that was one of my favorite things about the book. I loved how much the woman banded together and how much all the brothers loved each other and the women. It's one big family that's full of love, laughter, happiness and a few crazy moments.

If you want a softer biker romance that will make you swoon, then you need to get Going Rogue. It will leave you happy and full of love.

Once again Chantal Fernando delivers an MC with heat, heart, and an abundance of swoon. This just series gets better and better with every addition! Going Rogue had me hooked from the start with Zoe’s sweetness and Rogue’s bad boy biker sexiness. These two total opposites have scorching chemistry from the second they meet and that heat only intensifies as time goes on.
Like nearly every member of the MC, Rogue is someone who’s had me intrigued from the beginning. Insanely sexy, along with having a great sense of humor and a soft side that melts your heart the man is flat out irresistible. Zoe seems like the opposite of who Rogue would end up with but these two fit together perfectly in a way that had me sighing in happiness.
Zoe is the epitome of good girl. Straight laced and living what some would say a rather boring life. She has walls up after being burned by the last guy she was with. But what walls could possibly stand against a man like Rogue? Him and Zoe are actually really sweet together even with the delicious heat they put off making for a couple that you can’t help but love!

I loved the book from page one to THE END. Don't miss it. The entire series is entertainment gold.
this is my favorite book of the series. There were a lot of ups and downs and emotional moments but that is what made it feel so real. How the MC is a family and stands by their own regardless of what is thrown at them. I really hope there is more .

Rogue may have a pretty face, but the tough Vice President and his short temper has earned his VP title, he’s been teased but no one ever disrespects him. And women love him, Rogue can’t help but turn on the charm when he see’s a pretty face.
He also has caring side to his character and visiting his sick mother, is a given, that’s when he meet’s Zoe, her nurse and they begin a relationship.
The story was very emotional and very well balanced.
The secondary characters in the story were fun and interesting too which added a good break to the tension and drama that Rogue and Zoe had to endure.
This is a good story, very entertaining and a definite must read!

Loved it!! How can you not love a sexy as h*ll bad*ss biker who is tough enough to be the VP of the Cursed Ravens MC and yet everyday visit his ailing mother in a nursing home. It’s there he meets the feisty nurse who is caring for his mother. Zoe is everything good but even good girls like bad boys.

This story is one that I couldn’t put down. I loved the persistence and caring of Rouge for a woman he knew was worth every minute of it. Their chemistry was crazy good. Another bonus was Zoe’s sister, Vanessa who was absolutely hilarious.

  • Samantha

I think I like this installation the best. The story kept flowing. It was way more emotional as they both had to deal with Rogue's elderly mom.

I really want more of this series.

Did not get on with this at all. I was hoping for a slow burn forbidden romance but this was straight in and then straight up drama. I had a lot of issues with this book. One of them was Rogue. He is a Mary Sue. Perfect Son, perfect body, perfect face, plays guitar, sings, perfect, perfect, perfect. I like my male characters with a little more conflict in personality. Also, he is a criminal which Zoe is not all that bothered by. I don't mind romances with criminals but this guy sells guns. Guns that kill people. Nope, nope, nope. I gave up around 40% in so maybe things get better but I am not hanging around to find out.

You all (amazing authors) need to stop setting the romance bar so freaking high. These men are going to be super hard to live up to for any future guy in my life. No joke. I knew Rogue from the first Cursed Ravens book, and even then he came across as a really impressive man who would make an excellent "hero" someday. Chantal Fernando exceeded my expectations with Rogue and then gave me a fantastic heroine to pair with him. Given how much I have been looking forward to Rogue's book, I was going to be very critical with whoever Chantal chose to pair with Rogue, but clearly there was nothing to worry about.

Working in a nursing home has its ups and downs, but Zoe Kane can't help getting attached to each of the patients, even though none of them have a very happy ending. When one of her favorite patients' son, Rogue Kennedy, comes to visit, riding a motorcycle and blatantly parking in the staff-only lot, she begins to question what she did to deserve this. But when he turns on the charm and begins to court her as a friend first, her willpower begins to dissolve. Soon she's riding on the back of his bike and meeting his Cursed Ravens family, not to mention cleaning him up after a run-in with the police. Falling in love with the vice president of a motorcycle club wasn't what she had planned, but Zoe knows that once she's fallen, there is no going back.

So now the question is, who do I gush about first? Both Zoe and Rogue were amazing characters with a lot of depth to them, and as a couple they were off the charts. Zoe was a generous person with a kind heart, and although she had a bad experience with a biker in the past, she couldn't help falling for Rogue. He made it really hard for her! A few things he did or showed that made me smile - (1) put out a cigarette when Zoe said it gave her a migraine, (2) his hyperfocus on Zoe's happiness and proving to her that he cares about her, and (3) his willingness to publicly admit when he had messed up. On their own, these three things might seem small, but together they created the perfect boyfriend package in my mind. They show that Rogue cares about someone other than himself and doesn't mind letting it show to his friends. Zoe was a really strong partner for him and exactly what he needed. While he could have gone with any of the many girls who hung around the club, he instead went for the girl he had to work hard to get. She held her own not just with him but also with his MC family, and that couldn't have been easy for her! Thankfully she had good training from hanging out with her sister all these years. I can't wait to see her in a future book!

Once again Chantal Fernando has written a fantastic book that made my heart pitter-patter! I am eager to read what's next in the series.

One person, One chance meeting, can change everything.

I really do love this series, although I love MC romances I don't feel like I have read the usual kind of MC with the grit and danger content. Going Rogue contains humor, banter, loveable characters and a great family feel within the Cursed Raven's MC, and it definitely doesn't lack hotness, Zoe and Rogue's chemistry is sizzling.

A contemporary romance in an MC setting.

Rogue and Zoe meet at Zoë's work place where she is a care worker, Rogue has a mother in her care that has dementia and heart problems.

You can't help but swoon at Rogue, he's the sexy guy in leather that grabs all the girls attention as soon as he enters a room especially when he begins to play his guitar which Zoe witnesses him doing a few times to his mother when visiting.

Zoe has virtually no social life other than the company of her sister. Zoe and her sister are complete opposites. Zoe's sister is sassy, a fighter and a drama teacher, I loved her humor and off the cuff comments. Zoe is more reserved the kind of girl who likes the quiet and eats her lunch alone.

There's Instant attraction for Zoe towards Rogue and who can blame her and even better the feelings are reciprocated. A friendship develops between them both and eventually It leads to more.

Rogue happily gives up his man-whoring ways and Zoe begins to find herself again and a new extended family. I loved the journey to Zoe and Rogues happy ever after, I was addicted from start to finish and now I am eagerly looking forward to more in the series.

Zoe's been burned by a biker before but meeting Rogue she's curious and intrigued. He's loyal and caring, a good singer and way too good looking. He's persistent and he slowly chipped away at her reservations but being honest and steady. With his mom sick though he can also be sad at times which is understandable. The conflict that arose from her being the one caring for his mom made things difficult and they needed to communicate to get through it.

Zoe is used to her comfort zone, shy and quiet but Rogue brings her out of it and makes her to try. Rogue is nothing like the usual biker stereotype which is great. I liked them together Rogue brings out another side of Zoe and calms her. Zoe also makes him happy despite his mom's sickness. In time Rogue proved he's a good guy and despite his being vice president if the MC. It helped Zoe past her reservations and insecurities.

It's good to catch up with Ace and Knuckles, other MC members too. Sometimes it pays to look past stereotypes and make a leap of faith trust your gut. I liked the story and that they fought for each other despite their differences. Even if the ending was a bit rushed, it all tied together nicely. Rogue and Zoe were good together, sweet and steamy watching them slowly adapting to the biker lifestyle was cute. I enjoyed this couple and their story, I hope there's more to come even in the series.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
Rogue is the VP of the Cursed Ravens MC and this is finally his story. After getting a glimpse of his in the other two stories, I couldn't wait for his story and it was great. Not only is he the VP of the MC but he also visits his mother at a nursing home who is doing well at all. Rogue doesn't want to accept the fact the his mother will not be around much longer. One day when he goes to visit his mom, he meets Zoe, a caregiver looking after his mom. He is taken by Zoe and wants to get to know her better.
Zoe really likes Anne, she is sweet, tough and talks like a sailor when the dementia isn't acting up. She knows that Mrs. K has a son but has not met him yet. But when Zoe sees her son, she can't believe her eyes. He is tall, dark, handsome and definitely trouble with a capital T. But Zoe is drawn to him and they begin to spend time together and the sparks fly.
Can Zoe adjust to Rogue being in the MC? He is VP after all, not just son guy pretending to be in a club. Can Rogue forgive Zoe for what happens with his mother? Will Zoe ever be able to move past the guilt she feels for what happened?
I love this series and think each book is better than the last, if that is possible. If you are looking for a really great MC story that focuses on the members and their women, then this series is the one for you. Read it, I hope you love it too.

The third book in Chantal Fernando's Cursed Ravens MC, Going Rogue was not a disappointment. In this book we meet Rogue and Zoe.

The Cursed Ravens VP has finally met his match in Zoe. Zoe is a assisted living facilities aid, who takes care of Rogue’s mother. When faced with a task that she doesn’t want to pursue, Zoe has to let her favorite patient die and risk losing those she cares about the most. Loyalties are formed, chaos ensues, and a few people get roughed up.

This book made me cry. Where the others were tough as nails, this book hit close to home, dealing with a patient with dementia. Zoe and Rogue find their niche and help with the nursery in the clubhouse. Secrets are shared and the happy family that is the Cursed Ravens is made whole again.

Chantal Fernando writes great books. You will not be disappointed with this series, and each book can be read as a standalone with other characters making appearances. I also give this one five stars for a quick read that won’t keep you guessing.

    4.5 star

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, regrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those book(s) first
Ace of Hearts (The Cursed Ravens MC, #1)
Knuckle Down (The Cursed Ravens MC, #2)

This is Zoe and Rogue’s story. Rogue has a pretty face but he is fierce. No one unless they are out of there mind will call him pretty to his face. VP of the MC he knows how to take care of business and get the respect he deserves. One thing he is sorry for in everything is not being able to take care of his mother. He placed her in a local nursing home that does a great deal for her and eases his mind. He is slowing fading away and he is having trouble with that. Zoe works at the nursing home. She has come to love Anne and knows she has a son. The more they see each other the more they want but she is holding back. Can he get her to open up and be the woman he needs or will she run and leave him behind?

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

    I highly recommend this book.

This was a cute, low drama MC read. At Rome’s I was hoping that the MC would have tons of drama I’m kinda glad it didn’t. Zoe and Rouge were really cute and I’m really glad there wasn’t a ton of push and pull when it’s comes to the romance. The banter between them kept the story going at a good pace and all the secondary characters have me wanting to read the other books in the series. So if our looking for a good easy weekend read and you liked be a man that knows how to ride a bike and a woman, then this book is perfect. 4 stars #2OCCJD

Rogue! Just what I was waiting for!

Stuck in a rut, Nurse Zoe, needs some spontaneous fun....enter Rogue.

At 50% I was so happy. Life was good. Very good.

Then my heart shot into my mouth. I wanted to strangle Zoe. I was shouting at my kindle 'for god sake woman'! I was holding my breath for the rest of the book waiting for the bomb to drop........

Read for details!!! Yes I'm a tease!

Loved this but the star of the show for me was Vanessa! She needs her own book. Preferably with Prez!!!!

This is book 3 in The Cursed Ravens MC and we also see Jason and hear mention of Faye from Me. Fernando's other series. This is the story of Rogue who meets Zoe, his mother's caretaker. I think this was a sweet book for him and we also see some of my other favorites, Erin, Ace, Knuckles, Pres and the babies from the previous books. Would love for Pres to get his own story.
