    AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHH SO CUTE

  • Carlos Peguer

RTC when Volume 2 is out!

  • Emma

I was laughing so hard when Bitty started stress cooking! 😂
Every graduation makes me cry, I know they're coming but still, it's all so emotional!
This was probably my favourite chapter ending, I'm really happy that there are no more secrets and that Bitty can finally stop worrying. I don't like seeing him worry, I just want to protect him and see him happy.

Just realised that Volume 2 isn't coming out till next year and I couldn't wait that long so I read the rest of the series on the author's website 😅 and SHE REALLY HAD ME GOING FOR A WHILE THERE.

loved this, love the boys, love the world. can't wait for more! 💕

  • Jane (It'sJaneLindsey)

Who knew I could get so emotional over fictional hockey?

  • Hilda

I wanna tell her more than anything I just don’t have the words.

Goodness the feels. Where part one and two were about the team and finding your tribe then telling them two of you were secretly together. Part three was about the outside world and how hard it is to tell your parents. I was so heartbroken. Poor Bittle. This kid was so strong and still scared of disappointing his parents. This book was definitely darker but also amazing and realistic and the friends and friendships are the best part of this series.

You can find the whole series online. All three books and part of the fourth. It’s a very good comic.

  • Morgan (The Bookish Beagle)

Best one yet- the character development is so nuanced and awesome and I find it interesting how it skips time between chapters, sometimes time has passed and sometimes it hasn't. Plus ugh this is just SO cute and that ending was TOO MUCH. How am I supposed to wait for the rest?! My only complaint is how often Bitty says honey- not one of my favorite pet names tbh but he's the sweetest Hufflepuff through and through. Loved the sandwiches :D

I reread this because I needed a good pick me up read to get out of my reading slump(?) and ugh, I will never get over how good this graphic novel is.

It’s been a while since I read Check, Please! Years 1-2, but that didn’t affect my enjoyment of Year 3 at all! Ngozi’s art is better than ever, and it’s so fun watching Bitty and Jack navigate their relationship, which was soooo built up over the previous two years. I think Ngozi really captured the struggle of coming out here, specifically to your parents. I can’t wait to see how the series wraps up with Year 4. 5/5 stars

  • Gretel

I am SWEATING! This comic is killing me!

  • Suzi!!!

Obviously, I love this entire comic and it makes me happier than Timothee Chalamet (which btw, is a very hard thing to accomplish). I love Bitty. I love Jack. I love Shitty and Lardo. I love Ransom and Holster. You can read it
using this dandy link right here.

I STARTED READING THIS LAST NIGHT AND BINGED THE WHOLE THING AND SKSJSJS I LOVE IT SO SO SO MUCH OH MY GODDDDD THE DYNAMIC AND COMRADERY OF TEAM SPORTS IS THE BEST THING EVER IDK WHAT TO DO NOW I’VE CAUGHT UP

  • Flor ):)

So I really love the romance, but I don’t really get the hockey, which is way even though I’ve been squealing I just can’t give it five stars. That ending though

  • Naw

    Jack Laurent Zimmermann is everything.

(And could we please get some action between Shitty and Lards next year? That'd be 'swawesome.)

  • Maia

I think it's impossible to overstate how much I LOVE the Check Please series, which I have been reading online as a webcomic since late 2015. This book covers Eric Bittle's junior year at Samwell and his growing relationship with former-teammate-turned-pro-hockey-player Jack Zimmerman. The way this story handles coming out to friends and family, with the threat of media scrutiny, is just so well done. The art gets better and better with each chapter. I hadn't wait to see what Year Four has in store for these two, and all of their friends. Ngozi Ukazu is really a master storyteller, a totally unique talent.

I keep rereading check please and it always, ALWAYS leaves me with a warm, tingling feeling, it just heals me like no other thing in the world.

I mean if I ever met a genie my wish would be "let ngozi make more check please" even if the world was ending, I just love it with all my little, broken heart.

    this is one of the best things that have ever happened to me I'm emo ;--;

  • Virginia

    BROOOOO

  • Ashley

I may have cried. I little bit.

  • Littlebookterror

This is the best one so far! I loved every second if it.

  • bella issa

talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before.

  • Mehsi

Eeep! This one was just the best. Bittle and Jack are just the cutest couple ever. I was so rooting for them, and I felt so heartbroken that it wasn't always easy. Coming out to your friends and teammates, to your parents (though Bittle still has to do that, but I guess given the end...). I was so happy that most people were accepting of their relationship. The Samwell team made it even cuter by having a money pot in which our couple had to put money if they were to cutesy. :P
Of course seniors are once again leaving, and Bittle is becoming closer to graduation as well. We see him get quite a big role in the Haus and the team. We meet new teammates and housemates.
Jack also didn't have it easy, he has to fulfil all sorts of promises to his new team and show he is really good for the team. Thankfully, he has Bittle.
The ending, oh my. Oh my.

  • Gillian

How am I supposed to wait for Year Four???? Ahhhhhh

  • Michael

Jack heads to the Stanley Cup and his boyfriend Bitty is baking up a storm with all his nervous energy! This comic gets real and I loved it. See my spoiler.

  • Justine

I still have the same issue I had with the first two years, in which I feel like I definitely missed stuff by not following along with Twitter etc. in real time, but I still love this and all the ways the characters have grown together and changed since year one, sooooo five stars.

  • L. C. Julia

ITS AMAZING AND SWEET AND I NEED MORE.

  • minyard

No tengo mucho para decir, los personajes son adorables, la historia es muy linda, y si tengo que destacar algo es el final porque O M G REALMENTE HICIERON ESO...

  • Katie • forevermorepages

Honestly, the ending was the best part, but this kinda fell flat in the other parts...I just...don't completely see the hype still :(
