    Whimsical with a great message

A true gem of a book. Great message about being grateful and not taking things for granted. The illustrations are whimsical and delicate. The scrappy alley cats are quite precious as well.

A nice story, based on a real cat. Andre lives in a hotel, but explores Paris at night. The illustrations are good. There is also a fact sheet at the end.

Another wonderful book by Alma Hammond. This is a charming story about making friends and learning to appreciate what you have and being open to a life different than yours. The author used beautiful Parisian locations and descriptions. As a cat owner, she definitely captured the feline personality! The illustrations support the story with scenes of Paris. Great book to enjoy again and again.

Excellent book about a fancy cat

Children will love Andre the cat and the story of how he managed to grow and make friends. This book has excellent illustrations, a positive message and I love how the author included notes about the actual location in Paris

what a great story for kids to read to learn to appreciate their blessings!

I enjoyed this short cat story where Andre a very soiled cat Lean's in one evening's time that other cats don't have what he has lived in and with fabulous food, etc.. The print size could have been at least a little bigger, easier for anyone to read who's eyes may have had to work over time before reading this story to their loved ones. Yet, I still wish to recommend it for five stars for the great storyline, big illustrations and the info at the back of this ebook about the places where Andre wandered about on that one night. Very cool idea! Glad you did Alma. For all these reasons I have wished to recommend this for five stars and kids ages 3-8. By Sunny.

    Get Outside Your Comfort Zone

I love how this book transports the reader to France by mentioning the foods and sights. The message in this book is great for children and parents. The cat lives a life of luxury and is a little stuck up about it. But when the cat is forced outside of his comfort zone, he is introduced to a more difficult lifestyle. When he returns to luxury, he is more thankful and shares his life with those who are less fortunate.
