Volcano (GeoFacts) Reviews

  • John Clark

Ask juveniles what they'd most like to see and chances are that 'a volcano' will be near the top of the list. When something so large and dramatic,it can cool off an entire planet for years, create a sound heard 3,000 miles away, disrupt airline traffic, or bury an entire town, exists, it's easy to get everyone's attention. Volcanoes have done these and more. This book covers different types, where they're located, what types exist, how different eruptions throughout history have affected civilization and plenty more. Public and school libraries where curiosity about the natural world is encouraged, would do well to add this book to their collections.

I mean it was good but not to include Kilauea felt odd.
