It is a satire of the political scene of Croatia. The main character is a retired police that has a private detective agency. He is all a police should not be: misogynist, corrupted, homophobic... He gets involved in a case where we can see mocking figures of the Croatian public life like Kolinda or Ivan Todorovic and, of course, the police.
It is not the sharpest of the satires but it is an enjoyable reading.
By the way, I read it to practice my Croatian and most of what I have learnt is a bunch o Zagorje slangs. Na kaj sem spal
