Made them wear underwear? You’re the worst.
Made them go to the doctor? You’re the worst.
Hugged them too tightly? YOU ARE THE WORST.
It’s one of those days for this mama and her munchkin.
No matter how much this mom tries to show her child she cares, her little one STILL thinks she is THE WORST!
PARENTING CAN BE A THANKLESS JOB.
And guess what?! Being young can feel just as DIFFICULT.
Your child is sure to find this tale of what parents DO TO THEIR KIDS extremely funny, as they will surely relate to the everyday situations.
Never fear, parents! This is a fun read for you, too.
There is a loving "hidden message" bolded within the text JUST FOR YOU.
This slightly sarcastic tale will make your little ones feel heard, while giving you both a much needed laugh. The story is written from your child's perspective of what it feels like to be "cared for" All. Day. Long.
What we do in love, children can perceive differently in their imaginations.
So...
Who is right, the Mama or the Munchkin?

I love it!
I’d recommend this book to any mother. It’s a good read. Its not a long story or a novel but it’s short sweet message that every Mom needs to hear. You are doing great no matter how crazy things are especially when you think the toddler running around like crazy and making you feel everything you do they hate. Read it. It won’t take but 10 minutes. You’ll be happy you did. -
What parent has not been told that they are the worst parent, ever! This book features a toddler's perspective on her mom's everyday actions. What toddler wants to wear clothing, a hat, clean up her room or visit the doctor. Mom always wants to squeeze her to death, but she wants to be left alone. This book is a funny role-reversal viewpoint. Parents who see themselves in this mom will find it really funny.
I read the kindle edition. My only complaint is that the text font is extremely small. Toddlers and young children who are trying to follow along may experience difficulty. I would recommend the large font paperback edition. -
Yup, I'm the Worst Mom (says my Toddler)
Totally relatable read for those of us with toddlers. We try to do what's best out of love and they seem to find us annoying. It's a fun loving story that you and your little one will be able to relate to together.
I have the kindle version for on the go. But my favorite is the paperback copy because the adorable illustrations come to life! -
My Mom is the Worst: A Toddler's Perspective on Parenting by J.K. Coy
Colorful children's story but print is very tiny. The mom makes her do things like wear clothes when they leave the house and how to protect her head in the rain and sun.
As we adult we know it's for their own good and they will come around in time.
Author bio at the end. -
Okay
I thoroughly enjoy reading these type of children books, for they always teach my children an important life lesson in a simple and easy way that they can understand. It's important for children today to have morals, and the only way that they will obtain them is if they are taught from a young age. -
Funny For Parents
This book is amusing and probably entertaining for some kids. I'd have to try it out on my grandson. He isn't at a real oppositional stage (yet?), eats green peppers like apples, and thinks his mom is the best, even when she's smearing on the sunblock. I'm not sure he would get the humor, but I did! -
Four year old approved
Message of a parents love but wrapped up in the silly things kids believe about their parents. My four year old likes the ending. I like it too because it makes her whisper “I love you” in my ear. -
This is a relatable and fun book for both the parent and child to read together. Love giving this book to expectant moms to be.

Eh
It was ok. Underwhelming. Wasn’t really a kids book wasn’t an adult book. Just a dull mom you do this and that but I still love you rhythmless read. -
This is a cute story, about a child finding things a mother does because of their love frustrating, and also not.

This is so adorable! My daughter related to so much of it and made her feel less alone.
