Great book!
Gia is still recovering from finding her father dead in her childhood home. Layton was first charged for her father's death but she testify for him because he would not do that to someone who she cared about. She is haunted with nightmares of finding her lifeless father in the kitchen and Mitch who is her brother friend abd she consider him like a brother. Mitch does like Gia and he leaving to Blue Creek and invite her to come with him. She does go with Mitch to Blue Creek to get away from Vegas to clear her head to figure out what to do in her life. She loves Layton and he loves her too. He wants to marry her to spend his life with her. Blue Creek brings more trouble for Gia and Layton because wolf shifters and vampires don't get a long and may start a war between them. Gia is also not welcome in Blue Creek because she is half human and vampire.
Layton keep asking her to married him but she wants to find out more about her vampire mother but she does want to marry him. Mitch tries to force her to marry him to become part of his wolf pack after finding out he is a wolf shifter. I knew Mitch would continue have feelings for Gia but he would not take hint that she doesn't like him in that way and she is in love with Layton. It kinda made sense that Mitch and his brother had something to do with her father's murdered. I guess Gia being diagnosed with rare brain tumor which made her want to continue to live even as a vampire after marrying Layton. I would recommend this book to someone who love to read paranormal romance books. -
Story was cute but needed a little more..
I really enjoyed the overall story of the book. The passion was there, the overall plot was there, but it came up a little short for me.
Not everyone will feel what I feel so please do read the story because it is interesting. I just felt in some spots it was a little confusing, and the ending felt a little rushed. But then not everyone will see it like I do, so please read.

Love this author's books!!
Another book under this author's belt, proving she can write in many genres and keep you reading. Who doesn't love a good vampire story. Gia's head is a mess. First her father ends up dead and her vampire boyfriend wants to marry her. So she takes her brother's friend up on a getaway, in the middle of wolf territory. What she thought were her two biggest concerns, dwarf in what's to come! -
What you found out at the end of the story will shock you.
I loved all the twist and turns in this story. Gia knew who she loved but she just couldn't see it working out. With the death of father made her feel like she had to get away. What you found out at the in of the story will surprise you.
