It took me quite a few days to get through this collection of stories. Some I enjoyed, and some I didn't.

    Kittens and Snow Flurries
I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy this story when it started off with two Hollywood actors, but they pulled me in and the christianity of one of them was refreshing. I enjoyed the whole “bodyguard” aspect. My one complaint was the rather passionate kiss in the snow. Did it have to be described that much and take that long? For that reason, I’m hesitant about recommending it. It also dealt with drinking, and child abuse, but nothing was graphic, and there was a strong message that Christ is the only real help.

    Finding Christmas and You
A fun story. Not a favorite, but it was enjoyable. I really appreciated the comment by one of the characters about Jesus didn’t come to save us from all our troubles and give us a happy life. So true. There were some times the story felt a little confusing, but not enough to really dislike it.

    Once Upon a Christmas Star
This was such a sweet story. A different twist to “the Gift of the Magi” which I enjoyed very much. There was quite a bit of the girl wishing the boy would kiss her, which got old quickly, and a bit of going behind Dad’s back to get him what he really wanted. Overall though, I’ll probably read this story again.

    A Christmas Hallelujah
Boy meets girl. Both have difficulties they are dealing with, and they each decide that they can’t be more than friends because of these issues. But they can’t stop thinking about each other. All. The. Time. Not much praying over things, just “I wish we could, but we can’t” over and over. I did like the characters, and saw great potential for a wonderful story, but it wasn’t there for me.

    The Second Noel
Some stories by this author I love, and others I don’t. This was one I enjoyed. Yes, there was romance in it, but that seemed to be a side story, not the main focus, which I greatly appreciated. I learned a lot about Diabetic Alert Dogs, and would recommend this story.

    Home for the Holidays
I only skimmed this story. I wasn’t interested in reading about a girl who was willing to act a lie and insisted that she could get any man to ask her out. Just not my kind of story.

    Montana Skye
This story was a delight to read. Yes, it did deal with some tough issues, but it was never done in a way that felt defiling. The characters were real, and though it didn’t all take place around Christmas, that’s when it ended. It’s one I’m sure I’ll read another time.

There are 7 books. I liked the first and the last. The middle was mediocre. the second book, Finding Christmas and You, was terrible. I recommend skipping it altogether. First of all, it could have taken place at any time, despite its title. Next, the medical required a complete suspension of belief. A psychiatrist who breaks patient confidentiality, refuses to give her patient pertinent facts about her condition, deliberately goes behind her back with someone who is NOT her next of kin? I was so angry I wanted to chuck my kindle across the room. and that fiance?? how stupid can he get? Anyway the book was too dark and depressing for Christmas.
Let me move on to a different one. While I loved Montana Skye, it was. a bit predictable, and what kind of woman, sacred vows or not, would try to reconcile with that monster of a husband? I did like the redemption of her friend's husband and subsequently their marriage. My advice is read Lynette Bonner's Rayne story and move on to something else. This anthology wasn't worth it, as evidenced by the fact I can't even remember the characters' names...

What a perfect box set to jump into the holiday season and set the atmosphere for all the upcoming festivities!

    I started with bookends 😊

    The end in set-

🎄 Montana Skye by Sylvia Stewart I could not put down! It is the perfect length to read in a day.

Skye is a University of Washington student going for a nursing degree. She is very caring and goes the extra mile for Emma and Johnny, a young mother and her son. It unfolds why Skye has such a deep compassion for Emma's situation; her sad and recent past begins to roll out and you are compelled to find out how it ends for Skye. This is my new favorite of several I have read by Sylvia Stewart.

🎄Kittens and Snow Flurries by Lynnette Bonner, the first in set, is a joy to read. Any book that includes a kitten has my vote! :) In this Christmas novella friends we've made from other books written by Lynnette Bonner make reappearances. Holiday festivities and reuniting with a hard to grow up with father draw you in beautifully to Rayne's happily ever after.

These 7 authors highlight the most meaningful and essential things to life. I get read a few new authors to me as well :)

I thought this was a great short novel! This book has everything I love in a book: great spiritual inspiration, a sweet love story, single parents, and animals! It is set on an alpaca farm with lots of alpaca facts sprinkled throughout the book.

I liked Piper, the heroine. She gave up her life and career to raise her teenage sister when their father passed away and their mother took off. Piper had such a good attitude about her situation.

Alex was a great hero. He'd made mistakes in his past, learned from them, and wanted to do the right thing now. He has an adorable, almost-four-year-old son who plays prominently in the story.

I am looking forward to the second book in this series!

    Sweet collection of Christmas stories.

This is a great way to sample works by Christian authors. This reader came for her favorite (Chautona Havig) and stuck around for the rest. Pretty sure the others will become regulars on my Kindle. Maybe this should serve as a warning instead of a review, because I have little doubt that you, too, will find yourself wanting to read more from them.

    😃😃😃😃

It's hard to rate a multi author set since often some are really good and some just ok. Overall this is a pleasant set of stories for the reader looking for strong t h reads of faith along with the sweet romance. My personal favorite was Home for the Holidays, but Once Upon a Christmas Star and A,Christmas Hallelujah were also quite good.

I have enjoyed the Hearts of Hollywood Series, of which this is book 3. Rayne and Dixon's story is a fun Christmas story. As always, Bonner tells a heartwarming, inspirational story. Rayne spent her younger years in an abusive situation and couldn't wait to leave home. Now she's returning home for a visit to her dying father and taking her best friend Dixon with her. Through good and bad, thick and thin, Dixon has stood by her side. And he's doing it again now at one of the hardest times of her life.

Well written and entertaining. You'll be glad you read it.

I loved 6 of the 7 stories in this collection. One story couldn't grab my attention, but maybe some day I'll give it another shot. This is a great bunch of authors and the stories were great fun to read!
