Incredibles 2: Sweet Dreams, Jack-Jack Reviews

Sweet Dreams Jack-Jack by Meredith Rusu, illustrated by Gurihiru. PICTURE BOOK. Disney Press, 2018. $17. 9781368011938

    Pre-K - ADVISABLE

The older Incredibles all have superpowers, but Jack-Jack is just a baby, so he has none. Right? But when Mr. Incredible tries to put the baby to bed one night, he learns some fascinating secrets about his youngest child.

Of course us fans know that Jack-Jack has powers, but its kind of sweet to see Mr. Incredible finally realize that too. I really would like a picture book of the bedtime story that dad is reading to baby in the book, also. Can you get on that Disney?

A cute story about Mr. Incredible trying to put Jack-Jack to bed (and getting quite a surprise). I liked the repetition in the story-telling. It flows very nicely and makes a great bedtime story.

The pictures are also very entertaining. The last picture of Jack-Jack sleeping was simply adorable.

I have read this book with two of the kids I work with who like the Incredibles and they both really enjoyed it, especially seeing all of Jack-Jack's shenanigans.

Very good book. Great fit for fans of the Incredibles, young and old.

This book was okay. It's a real shorted version of what happened in the movie. I thought there would be more in the book, but I guess the book would be longer if they included that? Overall it was alright. The illustrations are similar to the movie and the book has vibrant colors.

    Jack-Jack is incredible fun 😊

  • Dragonness

Read this book to my preschool class. They loved it! But they also kept interrupting the story to say what happened next, because the story it holds is in the movie.

Jack Jack confuses his dad and battles a raccoon. Cute companion book to Incredibles 2. Oz loves Jack Jack so he was cracking up at the ensuing shenanigans.

  • Mely

Inspired by one of the scenes in Incredibles 2. Baby Jack-Jack is no ordinary baby. We find out what makes him so super. My little one loves The Incredibles so this was a perfect bed time story.

It's cute. My daughter loves it.
Funny short story about Jack-Jack, his super powers and a raccoon

  • Nichole

Cute. It retells the story of Mr. Incredible finding out Jack-Jack has superpowers.
