Everett and Courtney Carroll have endured to the midpoint of the Great Tribulation. The previous Seal and Trumpet Judgments have left the planet in shambles, and the western hemisphere is nearly uninhabitable. Elijah the prophet gives Everett a special mission which will give him a unique role in fulfilling end-times prophecy, but he’ll have to survive the coming cataclysms first. Angelo Luz breaks the treaty he made with the nations declaring himself to be God, a plague of stinging locusts rises up from the smoke of the bottomless pit, and a 200-million-man army of radical jihadists wages a holy war against humanity itself!

    The Book of Elijah continues...

Everett and crew emerge from their shelter in the cave after the fall of Wormwood and the arsenic dust contaminating the air and ground. I won't give it away, but crazy stuff happens and the group becomes smaller before they meet a new friend on the opposite side of the world. Their journey to get there is something new in the Goodwin books. As if basically hijacking a container ship to reach the Med wasn't enough, the comet Apollyon strikes a couple hundred miles ahead of them, making their voyage a tsunami wave riding roller coaster. Things only seem to further heat up after that as the remaining group make their way to Elijah and Noah in Jerusalem.

Goodwin throws in some very interesting knowledge for the reader, as he tends to do. With his style of fiction wrapped around fact, he breaks down the transhumanist ideology and the real-life goals of technocrats to create an omnipresent A.I. and merge consciousness with its system, forever becoming immortal. Only, in this case, it is the antichrist who merges his "mind" with the Dragon machine after merging the world's religions and supplanting himself as the true God.

Best book of this entire saga

Wow, this is definitely the most action-packed book in this entire epic saga, Days of Noah trilogy included.

I loved how Everet and co essentially hijacked a ship as their own, and the efficiency with which they carried it out was just brilliant. Everett also had the best lines during these scenes, enhanced by Kevin Pierces delivery (if you listen to the audio version).

Obviously pick this one up if you’ve enjoyed the saga so far, the plot and characters kind of demand it.

    From America to Jerusulam

The second prophet arrives and our group make their way West to sabotage the global republic so that the prophets can fly out to Jerusalem. God isn't done with the cave dwellers and they have to make their way as well. The locusts afflict many, the anti-christ fulfills prophecy, the jews and muslims are getting saved and Our group continue fighting as they help lead many.

I really enjoyed the series till the end. This one just kind of became a lot of battle scenes which I thought were not very Christian. What's the point? There was a few good moments not enough to make me really enjoy the book.

    Great. Tribulation book/study

This series is both frightening and Biblical, I cannot recommend this series enough.
Some might take it as pure fiction, which is thier right. I love the characters and the true timeline. I WILL BE READING MORE FROM THIS AUTHOR
