The Irish do laments well

The first 300 pages or so are poems only, and while many of them were good, it was a bit too much for me who's not very into poetry. The rest consists of shorter fiction by a selection of good authors, and also
A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man in full.
A very good selection in my opinion, but maybe mostly suitable for those especially interested in Irish literature and poetry. 3.5 stars. -
This was not my cup of whiskey.
For "treasury" I would pick the best, not the most patriotic.
Only plus is the Ghost of Canderville, but the fictions are boring. Over half of poems are also patriotic.
At least the book looks good. Closed. On shelf. -
Fantastic compilation
