As one of the founding members of the Infernalis Club, a debauched secret society, Lord Wycombe has plenty of experience with curvy women of the demimonde.

This rakish and devilishly attractive older man isn't exactly the sort of gentleman who is typically assigned as guardian to an innocent maiden.

But Lord Wycombe soon discovers that his new Ward, the voluptuous Miss Langsdale, is far more of a minx than the typical maiden.

Will Lord Wycombe seek to marry off his naughty Ward, or will he discover multiple reasons to keep her for his own pleasure?

Expect steam, banter, a firm hand, and some thoroughly debauched lessons on womanhood.

All characters are adults aged 18 and older.

This is a standalone prequel to "Plucking Rosebud."

    An Awesome Story!!

I loved reading Petals to Pluck(The Infernalis Club Book 4), all about The Earl Lord Wycombe and his new ward Charlotte Langsdale a nineteen year old daughter of his dear college friend who recently passed away as a pauper! It’s unusual for a Earl who has never been married to get a ward, but her own family wants nothing to do with the willful wild girl. Because he is un-married he employees a Governess named Miss Parsnidge to care for her. When she arrives he takes one look at her and sends them both to his country estate in Bedfordshire. The author wrote a book about a young girl who has not been loved, and feels all older gentleman find her detestable! Read about Lord Wycombe and his young ward Miss Langsdale and see how they navigate her coming to live in Town with him. I have read this series from the start and can not wait to read book 4! I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy reading them!!

Was a fairly good little prequel. The BDSM aspects were actually as close to being accurate as fictions go. I'm interested in the other books but there are just little things that bothered and not sure if the same things continue throughout the series. The narrative transitioned from one character's POV to the other's with no break or indication that this was going to happen and repetitive words and back story.

This book starts a series within the Infernalis Club series, involving Lord Wycombe and Charlotte, his newly acquired 19-year-old ward. In this book, Wycombe attempts to do the right thing by shipping Charlotte off to the country once he sees how tempting she is to a man of his character. Circumstances bring her back into his sphere and Wycombe and Charlotte come together in a wholly entertaining way.

A lovely dirty novella, this tale moves quickly and sets up the newest girl in the series before quickly getting down to business. Charlotte and Lord Wycombe don't fall right into the hot and messy stuff, there's a slight build up, and you really get to know who Charlotte is before the heat sets in. It's a fun series to read.

So why do people read erotica? One cannot tell. I was going through my Kindle and I saw this from a while back and decided to read it. Well is definitely scorching and raunchy book. Plus I needed to add to my reading challenge so I decided to give it a go.
