Katrina walked away from her last Master, swearing she was done with BDSM, but the desire to submit never went away. Desperate for release, she joins Las Palmas, LA’s most exclusive BDSM club.
Dante loves kinky sexy and beautiful submissive women. He may be stern when he’s ordering a sub to kneel for him, but he’s not interested in dominance and submission as a lifestyle. Las Palmas is his outlet, his place to play.
Katrina’s first day as a member coincides with the start of the checklist game. She’s been desperately wanting to submit once more, and Master Dante is sexy, kind, and seriously dominant—all the things a sub could wish for. But when they take on the letter F and all the kinks, toys and activities associated with it, Katrina learns the past doesn’t always stay dead and buried.
F is for… (BDSM Checklist #6) Reviews

Thinking about the letter F and what might happen, had me excited about this one on the Checklist.
Finding out what Dante planned to do with newbie to Las Palmas,Katrina, confirmed i was going to enjoy it.
Hearing where Katrina came from, was hard though....because her ex abused her trust, molded her into someone she wasn’t.
But she took her life back into her own hands, and was brave enough to admit she needed kink in her life.
Signing up at Las Palmas was a first step towards finding out how much.
Finding herself assigned to Master Dante for the letter F was a surprise, but she couldn’t have been with a better Master.
Because even though Dante plays hard,he does it with a healthy sense of humor.
The very opposite of her a**hole ex....
Dante is patiently waiting for Katrina to open up,to share her past with him.
Because he knows she’s special, and he wants to see her after their letter is finished.
Can Dante convince her that he’s the kind of Master that will always take care of her?
Will Katrina allow herself the joy of submitting to him in a way that’s actually good for her?
The overseers managed to find the right Master for this sweet sub,and i loved it! -
Intelligent Doms, I swear to god there is nothing sexier. Sure, some hot guy who will tie you up and can use a flogger is great but... A smart guy who can pay attention? Interpret clues? Is dedicated to making every time the best time possible? That's what Lila writes and why I always looks forward to new books in the BDSM Checklist series. They aren't perfect, they have character flaws, but they are generally invested in being great Doms, regardless of their other issues. Dante is no exception.
She also writes great female characters. Women who understand that being submissive does not mean being a doormat or brainless arm candy. Katrina may have concerns about how it will all work out, but she is strong enough to recognize that she needs to at least try, before giving it all up.
Mix it all with frequent, imaginative scenes and I'm sold. These are fiction, so of course there's an aspect of wish fulfillment, but as an example of strong relationship practices, you could aim at worse. As an added bonus, Lila's books are always well edited and I rarely get hung up on typos or grammatically painful sentences, and I'm a very happy camper! -
This is the sixth in what I assume will be twenty-six entries in a series set in Las Palmas Oscuras, one of those fantasy BDSM clubs popular in this genre. (I say "assume" because I'm not entirely sure what kinks begin with "Z," but we'll see.) The series' central conceit offers us a dom and sub who participate in kink scenes that begin with the letter they've been assigned ("A," for example, includes "Anal Play"). From what I can tell, each is a stand-alone featuring a single couple (some long-standing, others not) that is long on erotica and short on story. In fact, I would call these "novellas," rather than "novels" since much of the total page space is taken up with ads for Ms. DuBois' other books.
Because each story features different characters, a different relationship dynamic, and different kinks, some will appeal more to individual readers based on personal preference than others. Here, the kinks include fisting, flogging, and figging. I liked both characters: while Katrina's high-protocol clashes with Dante's more laid-back approach are reminiscent of
B is for..., the characters' backstories are completely different. I particularly appreciated Dante's fun-loving nature since most of these generic authors make BDSM seem more like "Survival of the Fittest" than play. And he was the perfect dom for this particular sub.
I particularly appreciated that Dante was a POC and that the couple discusses their ethnic differences rather than avoid them (as is all too common in this genre). As a vegetarian, I didn't appreciate Dante's telling Katrina that he might make her eat meat: we don't lose our "vanilla" hard limits in BDSM.
4 stars. It was completely unbelievable that Katrina's , -
Another enjoyable installment in the BDSM Checklist series - this time, it's the story of Dante and Katrina. Katrina is a new sub at Las Palmas, with a history that is revealed throughout the story - Dante is a long-time Dom at the upscale LA area club.
Although this is a series, you can really read this as a standalone. It helps to know the "game" that is underway. The all-knowing (apparently!) overseers at Las Palmas have decided to shake things up and are dictating play partners, as well as giving them each a task - work through all of the tasks beginning with a specified letter of the alphabet from their limits list that aren't specifically designated hard limits. While there's lots of spicy scenes, these books are, at the heart of it, about the relationship between Dom and sub - and this one's no exception. Do things move incredibly quickly for these two strangers - sure they do - but, as always, the club's overseers have worked their magic in bringing two people together who were meant to be! -
I like many other readers, pre ordered and got the wacky copy. I contacted Lila Dubois, she sent me a correct copy and my oh my was it worth it!! All of you negative reviewers, re read a corrected copy, you'll change your reviews too.
To the review...Dante and Katrina are members of Las Palmas, matched together by the Overseers , and given the letter F. Lila writes great characters with depth, substance, and just the right amount of humor. Dante is the Dom of my dreams, strong, alpha, who doesn't take himself too seriously. Katrina is coming out of a horrible relationship and trying to find a balance between what she needs, without loosing who she is. No way is this book anything less than a 4 star and I hope you give it the chance it deserves. -
F is for Full on. Another good episode in the checklist series.
Katrina is stepping back into the world of BDSM, having been away for a while. It so happens that her first weekend at this exclusive BDSM club coincides with the alphabet game. She is paired with Dante, and the letter F.
This is a well written, very readable short novel, depicting a fairly formulaic couple with hot bodies who indulge in really steamy sex, and a fair bit of soul searching, and overcoming adversity. However they have enough individuality to be appealing and did I mention the sex...inventive, erotic and as always multi-orgasmic. Fantasy of course, but exactly what I want in a story like this.
A good episode in the series. -
The Overseers have done it again and perfectly matched a sub and Dom (you get to see just how perfect at the end). Dante is awesome in his quest to understand this new sub and to deliver just what she needs. Katrina is trying to overcome a traumatizing 24/7 D/s relationship.
I really love this series. The author does such a fantastic job of bringing together 2 individuals that actually belong and totally understand each other. These books are about connecting mentally (even though there is plenty of physical connecting going on). There are plenty of BDSM scenes but the they are interspersed with conversations and acts of caring/compassion/understanding that bring these stories and characters to life. -
Update: Ms. DuBois realized Amazon loaded her draft and not the final version and she immediately sent an email letting us know, and providing a copy of the correct book. I'm updating my rating to 3.5 - she writes awesome BDSM scenes, but the rest of the story could've used a little more fleshing out and a less abrupt ending.
I'm ten pages in and feel like this book didn't see an editor! I love this series but the mistakes are awful - it referred to the letter E as their letter and clearly we're on F. The errors in spelling and details are distracting from the story for sure!!!
I'm now 33% in and I'm pissed I spent money on this book. The editing is atrocious and unprofessional. -
Is there anything better than a tragic past, and an understanding partner? Who doesn't need all the details right away, but doesn't let you hide. Dante is everything Katrina could ask for as she steps back into the BDSM world. He thinks she is perfect, but he hasn't ever had a bonded sub before. Their story was fun, tragic, touching, and unbelievably sexy, and they found exactly what they needed in each other, hope!

Ditto
It’s so hard to review a series like this where the writing is equally good throughout all the books. The only things that really change from book to book are the characters and the conflicts. And I have been pleased with both of those in each book. Read this series. You’ll love it. -
Forbidden, a life you've been told you no longer can have but that you need, a forbidden story of erotic dreams.
This series not only captures the essence of BDSM, but also the essence of what it is to be true to yourself and understand your own personal kinks. If you haven't read the rest of this wonderful series you really, really need too. -
Wow.... Freaking awesome
I'm not even sure What to say except I love each of these books more and more!!! I don't want them to end, yet I do so that I can see what excitement happened with the next letter!! Just Wow!!!! Thank you L. DuBois!!!❤❤0🔥🔥🔥 -
Mind
OK so this brought up so many memories of past relationships gone wrong mixed with a few that just slowly deteriorated so right now I can't even think properly. Written really well and very accurate descriptions of feelings. -
3.5 Stars

F is for Fantastic
Again, another fast- paced, sexy, hot, yet romantic novel. Ms. Dubois is, hands down, my favorite author in this genre. -
Unrated because it was a case of it's not you, it's me.

Delightful add to BDSM Checklist series.
Yes, there were a few issues with the pre-order version of the file. The author/publisher has corrected these issues. If you file/book has any "XXX" please review comments on reviews & get the updated file.
Back to the review, Dante and Katrina are characters with their own issues & it's great to see that the overseers (aka the author :-) ) put these two characters together to work through the letter F and their issues. -
Great addition
Enjoy this series and I’m looking forward to the rest of the alphabet! -
Loving this Series
Lila does every genre she writes in well. She does BDSM romance better than most. She clearly sets a high bar
