Captain James Hook deserted the Eisland Navy twelve years ago to battle slavery on the high seas. As a pirate, he raids the ships of his former kingdom and their corrupt allies to the east while liberating them of ill-gotten goods. Rescuing a little fairy bound for the pet trade is an unexpected bonus.
Tink is everything James has ever desired in a woman—courageous, feisty, and loyal, but her diminutive size isn’t their largest obstacle. The Eisland Navy has a new weapon at its command, a mystery capable of demolishing a ship in a single blow. And the Jolly Roger is their next target.
Undertake a magical journey in Vivienne Savage's new romantic fantasy series loosely based on the lore of multiple fairy tales. Meet strong heroines supported by a cast of sexy heroes, intriguing friends, and devious villains.
Tinker Bell and the Pirate (Once Upon a Spell, #4) Reviews

3.5 Stars
Loved Captain James Hook!! I thought Tinker Bell was immature. I was wondering how the romance going to work between a three inch fairy and a human but Vivienne Savage handled that well. -
Who knew Captain Hook could be smart, honorable, and so darned sexy?!
-
I'm just in love with this series, I can't put them down. The spin on hook is perfect with Belle (I see secretly always liked hook).
-
Not my favorite story, a little slow.

Absolutely loved it!
Tinker Bell and Captain Hook! What a fun and magical read. I am a great lover of fairly tales and this series is amazing! I can't wait to see what Vivian Savage comes up with next! A definite must read for all fairy tale lovers! -
I was very disappointed and dissatisfied. The book was plain and uninteresting and I guess that's why it took me so long to finish it. It was a simple retalling (not adult a tiny bit).
-
Pure Awesomeness!
I love Tinkerbell! Captain Hook being the good guy freakn' rocks. The Sea Witch cracked me up - what a hoe, LOL I totally ate this story up. Couldn't put it down. This whole series has been just awesome and totally recommend it to all the fantasy readers that love romance to go along with their fantasies. -
I absolutely love this series! None of the fairy tales follow the norm and you never know what's going to happen next! I really enjoy the twists and turns of the story
It was a fast-paced fun adventure that left your heart pounding.
The characters were fun, real and just entertaining to read. They felt like they could just walk right off the page at any time and appear next to it.
I also enjoyed how all the books tied together in little ways. They can be read as stand alones just fine but they have mentions of past characters and tie ins.
I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc from the author. -
Amazing
An amazing retelling, the best I have ever read. This book was heartwarming and full of adventure and hardship as well as love and laughter. This is my favourite of Vivienne Savages' series as it is a fairytale not often retold and she did an amazing job capturing the tale. -
This has been such an enjoyable series. Belle and the Pirate is number four of this six book set.
Belle is a tiny fairy, no bigger than a thumb. We already know her because she has appeared in previous books as Tinkerbell, a little sprite.
Apart from the beautiful prose, and pretty formatting there were many other things I enjoyed about this story. One was how names from our favourite tales, Blackbeard, Peter Pan, and Captain Hook, all appeared. They were different characters, and each of them had interesting personalities.
I was a little confused over Tink’s transformation to Belle. She had three days of being ‘big’ but it came with a condition and I was never clear about what that was.
It didn’t distract from the story in any way, although maybe it was me who misunderstood it.
The series of Once Upon A Spell is a fabulous read and those who love romantic fantasy, will adore them. Beneath are my reviews to the previous books as well at the link to this book. -

Another beautiful tale, creating a new fairytale and finally giving a happy ending to two characters that were overlooked in the original tale.
I loved Captain James Hook, his honour and determination to do what is right, no matter the risk or what others say. As for Bell, she was such a sweet and pure soul, totally deserving her own story and happily ever after.
I didn't give it a 5 stars because I wasn't as surprised by the events as I wished I would have been but still, a great and very beautifully romantic story. -
I love the voice the author gave Tinker Bell in this book. So perfectly in tune with how I imagine the little fae to be. Reminded me of the best parts of the original Peter Pan animation, and even Julia Roberts's rendition, but still unique to this story. Such a little character that still packs the punch of any of the heroines in these adult fairy tales. I wasn't sure how the romance was going to come off, but Ms. Savage totally made it work - and even had me a little worried that this one would end in tragedy. (Spoiler alert: it doesn't.) Still totally heart-wrenching. Loved this book!

Captain Hook , a romantic hero??? Ohhhh yeahhhh!!!
This is definitely my favorite of the Once Upon A Spell books. It's Hook and Tink like you never imagined them. As with the other books in the series, this one has enough of the old familiar tale to make you smile but this one is full of surprises! I continue to be amazed at how Vivienne Savage is able to not only re-tell all of these familiar stories, but weave them seamlessly together so beautifully! There is such an amazing flow to this series. Love, love, love it ! -
Loved This
Okay I'm a sucker for a good Hook story and skipped ahead in this series because I couldn't wait to read it. Savage did not disappoint managing to create a lovely slowburn love story that brought appearance from numerous fairytale character we know and love. I loved the way she captured the mix of Fairy innocence while still giving Tink adult urges and wishes. The story was absolutely delightful, filled with dashing sword fights and noble causes it's a must read from beginning to end. -
Loved this book!!!

First off Peter Pan, Hook, and Tinkerbell are my favorite to begin with... But the way VS has written it just adds another level to the story... Out of the three Tink is my favorite.. I had a little glass statue of her when I was younger ( she broke when the shelf came out of the wall ) and this book had me thinking of it... If you haven't already read books 1 - 3, I would recommend you start with them... -
Hooked
Wow. Simply wow. I've read and loved each book of this series and each one hasn't failed to bring a new sense of adventure and romance. Vivienne Savage has brought to life a whole new world of magical beings, reined favored tales with them an created something both exciting and new. Who would have thought Captain Hook could be a good guy? Or that Tinker Bell would fall in love with the rapscallion.
Definitely looking forward to the next book in this series. -
This is a fantastic love and adventure story told from the POV of Tinker Belle. Featured are some characters from previous books, plus Captain Hook, Blackbeard, and Peter Pan.
Typos: Cannons (the weapons) are not the same as canons. Palette is what a painter uses, while palate refers to taste. Wrong tense ("A second bumped rocked them"). -
This was a really great romance retelling of Tinker Belle and Captain James Hook. In this wonderful story Hook is a good man and actually saves those sold into slavery. Tink was actually abducted to be sold and James saved her. Their growing relationship is really cute and definitely had steamy moments.

Not the Tink you knew Growing Up❣️
These beautiful stories allow the characters, we knew as children, the opportunity to have so much more life!
Belle is still a magical creature, but when she meets James Hook, yes, the infamous Captain, she learns the magic of love!!! -
Really fun series
I started with the first book in the series, and haven't stopped...and can't wait for the next. The twists on the fairytales are really, really good. Absolutely a great read. -
This book gave a refreshing view of a "Captain Hook" that chooses piracy for the greater good. Miss Savage makes it easy for us to fall in love with the dashing Captain and when him and Tink are together they make for an unstoppable team. Definitely my second favorite in the series:)

I’m in love
OMG I cannot express how much I loved this story!! You kept everyone in it while giving Belle her happy ending too! I can’t wait to keep reading the rest of this series. <3 -
A Twisted Fairy Tale and a good story
I've always wondered whether the bad guys were really bad, or if they were just the targets of bad publicity. I knew Captain Hook couldn't be all bad. Give this one a try if you enjoy fairy tales or fantasy. -
Belle and the Pirate
Wasn’t one of my favorites so far in the series. We met more characters in this one which tied into the 3rd book. I noticed several times the author switched from the name Belle to Bell.
