    OK, I must admit I was VERY impressed by this extremely short story.
    I was impressed by just how MUCH plot & character development (for Kit Randal the H at least) the author was able to inject into so few pages. And yet, overall I really didn't get a sense of the story being rushed, only that the pertinent & necessary details for the reader were presented. And again, within a very short time the reader knows Kit's basic background, what happened, what he did & why. That he's a retired Marine, focused, honest, determined & tough.
    We're quickly brought up to speed to explain the prison environment where he'll spend his 5 yr sentence (& truthfully I wouldn't mind being sentenced there if I had to go to prison). I genuinely liked how the author didn't stick to stereotypes regarding the Warden & the guards: they were presented in this story as fully doing their duty/jobs but also professionally friendly, fair & honest.
    The only portion that felt rushed or without true depth was relative to Brandi (heroine), we do receive a quick summary of her: brilliant, Machiavellian, computer genius, beautiful, ruthless & sexually intense. Kit & Brandi are drawn to each other & Kit has a focused goal to spend time with the sexy Siren he's viewed through the prison windows.
    But unbeknownst to Kit, Brandi has plans for both of them too & hers are much, much bigger. . . .
    An excellent, steamy, fun & rousing short story I greatly enjoyed. Hoping there are future (& longer) adventures for these two!

    This is a very short read. The story-line is set in the future and has a male and female as the main characters. The female takes the lead as the story progresses and it ends in a way that leaves the reader wondering if there is going to be a secondary book. It is well written and a quick enjoyable read. Mild steam included and not much of it, as I said it's a short read!
