A compilation of some of the least heard voices in Australia. This book is bridges that gap a little, we need more works like this to begin to understand this country better. I wish this was required reading in schools and in parliament. Some of the writers stood our in terms of ability, and others may never choose to write again, but each of their stories, however small, is valuable. I think about what effect it will have on the people who were published in this book. How important it is to practice using voice, and I hope that they all get to find their power and get the opportunity to use it.
