Camilla I longed to believe my bond with Ellis was impenetrable, but in reality, I held secrets that could blow open the tightly woven seam of our newfound relationship. Would he understand how we were both victims in his brother’s betrayal, or would he take his anger out on the one person still alive–me? Could the words my sister spoke about Liam’s father be true? If so, how would Ellis and I recover from what was lost? Christopher’s jealousy was intensifying as a future with me became even less attainable. No, I belonged to one man only, and I was going to prove to Ellis that we could overcome the past and share an amazing future. I had two important roles in being a mother and a submissive, and I would fight to keep them both. Sasha Once I left rehab, the thought of living alone during my recovery scared me, but being told I had to move in with Ellis’s attractive cousin instead of going back to my apartment was terrifying. My sister, Camilla, ran a tight ship, but she wasn’t nearly as intimidating as Greyson and the terms he laid out for me. The reality that I was borrowing space amongst his superior existence didn’t need to be spoken. For that reason, I was blindsided when his gaze began to undress me and his touch became more than a brush of the shoulder. Greyson Burke saw something in me I was struggling to see in myself, and that meant he held the power … it also meant I had to run.

The Terms: Part Two (The Terms Duet Book 2) Reviews

The second book in 'The Terms Duet' takes on a much more domesticated feel. Ellis and Camilla have settled into their life together, in spite of the secrets. When everything comes to light, they must face the fact that everything may not be as it seems. Both have to live with their actions and the chain of events they triggered.

Meanwhile, there is another story playing out. Camilla and Ellis share the spotlight with Greyson and Sasha. This unlikely duo strikes up a friendship that morphs into something more meaningful. They are from different worlds, but the attraction is undeniable. Ultimately, Greyson must choose between the woman he loves and the wrath of his family.

Overall, this book wasn't as good for me as the first one. I liked it, but didn't love it. There was just too much going on. My head was spinning, but not in a good way.

I felt like the story would have been much better if the author had separated the couples' stories into two separate books. Jumping back and forth between Ellis and Camilla and Greyson and Sasha felt disjointed. Just as I was starting to get into what was going on with one of the couples, the story would be redirected to the other couple. It was distracting.

The end result was that I never got more than lukewarm feelings for either couple. I just didn't have enough time to feel vested in what was going on before it was changed up again. It didn't work for me.

It was "okay" but fell short of my expectations. Things wrapped up nicely in the end, but I didn't really feel satisfied.

"Someone once told me to be the daring eagle who spreads his wings and soars above the clouds. Maybe you should take his advice. Be daring, Greyson. I hear there are rainbows and unicorns up there … maybe Skittles, too."

The second book in the series does not follow the norm of book duets. A second love story is introduced and it is developed in parallel to the love story of Ellis and Camilla. The second story is about Ellis’ cousin, Grayson, and Camilla’s sister, Sasha.

Grayson is a prisoner of an ill relationship that it was forced to him by his father and grandfather. Sasha tries to recover her drug addiction with the help of Grayson who used to be an ex-drug addict.
Their story will be full with ups and downs. Grayson will show interest and then he will be cold again. Sasha will push him away and then she will try to stay with him for as long as possible.

Ellis and Camilla are happy and they seem to have found a balance in their relationship. But there are still secrets that need to be revealed and memories that will surface. The conclusion will be a gift from god for the newly created couple.

The story most of the times, with all this drama, felt like I watching a soap opera. Lots of despair and tears. And suddenly the end result which is exactly what the main characters need.

I really enjoyed reading this book and the addition of the second story with the four points of view (Ellis, Camilla, Grayson and Sasha) was rather refreshing.
Moreover, I appreciated the way the little boy, Liam, is presented. He is lovable and true to his age.

    I’ll follow these terms!

I don’t even know what to say other than I went into this story not expecting to like it, and I really flipping enjoyed it. In this story there are more than just Ellis and Camilla’s POV’s but I will let the additions be a surprise.

This is closure to Ellis & Camilla and there is also a bit of a surprise inside. That I ADORED. Agh. This duet was so good. Even though it is a duet book two wasn’t filled with filler. Ruby Rowe actually makes the story feel fresh by adding another layer to it. Such an excellent read. So so good.

If you like contemporary romance with a splash of suspense, then this is a story I’d definitely check out!

I decided it's best to write a review about the whole series, trying to highlight some important aspects from book 1 and book 2, but believe me, you have to read the duet in order to get the big picture here.

So, in book 1 we meet Camilla, a young woman who works in a bar to support her baby boy and sister. After hearing that the father of her child, Tony, died, she attends his funeral and leaves him his picture, because they never got to meet in person. There, she meets Ellis, his big brother, who through blackmail, convinces Camilla to take her son and move in with him. She resists first, because she knew from Tony that Ellis is a very dangerous and unpredictable man and doesn't want her family to be near him. But she doesn't have a choice in this matter...

The luxury Ellis is accustomed to is very different than the conditions Camilla was brought up, but she never craved to be rich, she just wanted a peaceful life with her boy Liam and her sister Sasha. She will slowly discover another side of Ellis that will be impossible to resist and soon Camilla will face a hard decision, because everything she believed she knew about him will came tumbling down. She will slowly fell in love with him and discover an entirely different person.
The first book is packed with tension, intensity and a very romantic love story that will bloom in the second book in something unique and irresistible. I liked Camilla's attitude, the way she raised Liam and took care of her sister, constantly being second place in her life. Although Ellis was very intense and strange at the beginning, he will open up to Camilla and realize he could be a better person besides her. Their love for little Liam will unite them even further and when secrets are revealed, their relationship will be heavily tested.

The first book ends in a cliffy, a very shocking one, but without modesty, I have to say that I figured it out!!!!!!!!! I was very proud when realising I was right. My only problem with the second book was that my attention was diverted from Camilla and Ellis to Greyson, Ellis cousin, and Sasha, Camilla's sister. They ar the second couple from the series and I loved them. Greyson is committed to marry a girl he doesn't love only because they families want to merge their fortunes, but having Sasha in his life will change everything. Sasha was a history with drugs and abusive behaviour, so she will need somebody to trust and never hurt her again. "The Terms vol.2" will shows us their development and by the end of the book we will see if they are meant to be.

In conclusion, a very complex and entertaining story, with interesting and different characters, that will truly give you some powerful life lessons. The suspense and twists are not to miss, also the romantic scenes that were steamy and very well written. I truly enjoyed the development of the characters and the closure they got after such a long ride. I know you will love it as well:)

“I’m losing myself in the pleasure, falling into the abyss of Ellis Burke, where his soul resides and I could live for all of eternity.”

  • Romance Readers Retreat

This book starts off right where book one ended with Ellis being told he has met Camilla before. This was a slower read for me than book one because a lot happens to the characters and with the plot. In addition to continuing with Camilla and Ellis' story, Sasha and Greyson take a staring role. I really liked Greyson. This is one of those stories where I was much more invested in the make leads than the female leads. While I enjoyed Camilla and Sasha, I was all about Ellis and Greyson.

I don't want to spoil much about in terms of plot because that would take away from the enjoyment as you read, but I will say that even as we begin to uncover the details behind previously hinted at secrets, we get even more questions. We still get lots of steamy scenes and BDSM and I found the ending quite satisfying. I'm hoping Rowe will give us more of Sasha and Greystone's story in the future.

    2.5 stars

The cliffhanger from the first book was resolved without much drama. Finally Ellis and Camilla talked about everything. It drives me nuts when issues arise simply because characters don't communicate. The main reason I didn't like this as much as the first book was because about a third of the way into it Sasha and Greyson started getting their own chapters, which were largely independent of Ellis and Camilla's issues. I hate it when a story about one couple suddenly gets infused with another couple and their problems. Give them their own book instead. I read this for Camilla and Ellis. After a while I completely skipped over any chapters with Sasha's or Greyson's names at the top.

I have been eagerly awaiting book two in THE TERMS duet.I have to say I was so blown away by book 2, this book was so worth waiting for!!! Ms. Rowe wrote the perfect ending for Camilla and Ellis's story while also even starting a beginning for Camilla’s sister and Ellis’ brother.
This story is a continuation of the beginning of Camilla and Ellis's relationship from book 1 and finding out what is going on, what Camilla is afraid to face. We find out the deep secret that she has hidden about her son, Liam’s birth while also going into the secrets that are in her past which are deep and in her mind, dark. You will see Ellis struggle with all that he comes up against and he is very angry while Camilla truly didn’t do anything to hurt him, she is really a victim in everything. Will they be able to get back on track, get back together or will the vile blackmailer have won in forcing them apart for good during this huge rough patch ?
Also added to the story is Camilla’s younger sister who is also a recovering addict named Sasha. Sasha has once again bailed on rehab because she didn’t think she needed to go but really it was all over the fact she didn’t “fit” in there but she has promised her sister and Ellis that she will make them both “proud”. When Camilla and Ellis have hit this rough spot, Ellis’s brother Greyson offers to take her in and help her with a job. You might think with all these characters abound that we would get a true story with all but that isn’t the case. With all t he multiple POVs shown, you still get tight storylines that make you hooked on everything and hunger for more. The emotions and the chemistry between both sets of couple are intense, angsty, passionate yet still feels as fresh as though I was starting the book for the first time. What is so awesome is, the author Ms. Rowe takes a different approach to writing her parallel stories by writing in multiple points of view(POV) for the main characters (Ellis, Camilla, Sasha, and Greyson). Though this book’s about Ellis and Camilla, Sasha and Greyson are able to run parallel and be just as important to the reader as a 2nd plot line.
Be prepared for the twists and turns, the suspense and the hints of danger that will take place along with the roller coaster of emotions that this book will take you on. I went thru so many emotions in reading the Terms Duet series: love, romance, danger, suspense, laughter, passion, heartbreak, and oh so much more yet the author does a great job in conveying such feelings and emotions. I would highly recommend this duet series to everyone for it is successfully phenomenal , you wont go wrong purchasing this , for it’s a keeper series!

I received and ARC from the Author in exchange for an honest review

I make no secret about how much I have been anticipating the release of The Terms: Part Two, I am happy to report that I was not disappointed. Rowe gave us the perfect ending to Camilla and Ellis's story and even a beginning to a new one. Hopefully that means we will have more stories centered around these couples in the future.

This story is a continuation of the beginning of Camilla and Ellis's relationship. We finally learn the truth behind Liam's birth as well as the deep dark secrets Camilla has in her past. These secrets will either tear our two love birds apart or bring them closer together. Also added to the mix is our resident recovering addict Sasha. Sasha has once again bailed on rehab because she feels like she "doesn't fit in" but she has promised her sister and Ellis that she will make them both proud. When Camilla and Ellis hit a rough spot, Greyson offers Sasha a job and place to stay. Although Greyson and Sasha both seem to be polar opposites, they have more in common than we know.

Rowe takes a different approach to conveying parallel stories by writing in multiple points of view(POV). By doing so we are able to understand the story from every angle and get different perspective on the same event without becoming confused or wanting additional details. Rowe does and amazing job of weaving each POV into the story so they blend together, and although this story is about Camilla and Ellis, the story of Greyson and Sasha is able to run parallel and be just as important to the reader as a secondary plot.

We are on a roller coaster of surprises most of which you never see coming. At times we are so angry at the characters we want to hit them, and at others we are so over come with sadness we are reaching for the box of tissues. Rowe ensures that we all are able to connect with these characters in a way that we are sad to see them go once the book ends but are happy with the outcome she has written.

  • Barbara

Utterly Fantastic! Even that isn’t saying enough about this duet. Ms Rowe has truly written an amazing storyline with characters that you can’t help but love and feel like you’re part of the family.

The characters are so true to life with everyday problems and values (just maybe on a richer scale). We have Ellis who is a rich sexy alpha male who is used to getting what he wants yet he also has a vulnerable side (especially when it come to Camilla and her son Liam). We have Camilla who will do whatever it takes to protect her son and Sasha, her sister. We have Sasha who is a recovering addict trying desperately to stay clean and overcome her past and we have Grayson, Ellis’s cousin who is stuck in a no win situation, even though he is a sexy, successful rich attorney and businessman. Yes these characters make up a unique family with a zeal for life and enjoy a crazy, sometimes erotic and intense lifestyle.

The Terms duet has it all: romance, suspense, laughter, tears, heartache and so much more. This is definitely going in my top 10 for 2017 and it’s one I would highly recommend to everyone. This duet is beyond phenomenal and so worth 1-clicking right this minute - you won’t regret it!

HOLY COW! Another absolutely amazing story by Ms. Rowe!

I received this ARC from the author for a completely honest review, and that is exactly what I am going to give you.

First of all, I have been anxiously awaiting this book after the first one ended in such a cliffhanger. I haven't been able to think of much else! I received it yesterday and it was EXACTLY what I had been waiting for. I ended up finishing it in just a few hours.

I LOVE that it picked up exactly where we left off from the first book. That way there was no confusion or chance of getting lost. Especially considering that the story is very fast from the very first page. I would also like to say that at least one of my assumptions had been right and it was the one I was hoping for all along.

You really can't help but fall in love with these characters and the story. They are so complex and so well written, it's hard not to relate to them in some way or another. Ms. Rowe is an absolutely incredible author and I am so happy I was introduced to her.

I also really love that the book isn't all about it the sex. Yes, there are definitely some massively hot and steamy sex scenes in this book, but the story line is also incredible and even has some action! I really wish I could give this book more than 5 stars. However, 5 is my limit. Definitely a must read!!

  • Jamie

OMG, what a way to bring this Story full Circle. The story picks up where Book 1 ended. Ellis have trust issues and when he finds out the truth of the pass connection with the Love of his life Camilla, to him the trust is broken. can their love be strong enough to bring then back together.Their problems are only more complicated if you add in Christopher is up to no good.

Sasha is trying to take it one day at a time to stay sober but with the kindness of Greyson , she isn't use to men being.nice to her without a motive. Greyson is running from his own demons but when he first held Sasha in his arms he felt something for a stranger like no other. With a reckless move of offering he a place to stay after rehab that something becomes more.but his time is running out where he has to fulfill a promise he dreads to keep. With the help from his cousin Ellis it opens his eyes to what he truly wants and needs. I have to say that little Liam stole my heart he is the perfect added character to this story.

  • Kathy Rouchelle

I’m having a hard time writing this review, not because of the story or the characters or anything, but because it is so damn good that I don’t want to say anything about it and make everyone just go out and read it! So, I will just say that:
This book is extremely well written with a storyline that picks up from where the first book left off and continues to tell it’s story. It will have your emotions running hard in one direction to the next as you read about Ellis, Camilla, Sasha, Greyson, Christopher and of course little Liam. The story draws you in and carries you through their lives, loves, pain, fear and laughter.
The characters are especially well written and quite developed and some a bit complex. Their lives, loves, secrets, pasts, present and futures are all balled up into one impressive story that I cannot presume to know why someone would miss these books.
Top notch writing and storytelling and I highly recommend this book, this duet!

I received this ARC from the author for my honest review.

With the cliff hanger at the end of Part One, I've been impatient waiting to get my hands on this book! It was greatly anticipated and I was not disappointed! It was glorious and worth the wait.

As was in the first book, Camilla and Ellis have some hurdles to jump through before their happily ever after. Secrets they are both keeping that will either rip them apart or make them stronger for having gotten last them.

When Sasha shows up unexpectedly, Greyson steps in giving her a place to stay, a job, and a fancy car so Camilla and Ellis and work on their own relationship. With all the time they spend together and binding over addiction recovery, both Grayson and Sasha develop feelings for each other. Unfortunately,Grayson is engaged to a woman that he doesn't love and Sasha is running from a past she fears will catch up with her.

The Terms Part Two is written from 4 point of views, I was concerned about getting story lines mixed up but it wasn't a problem. There was a great mix of the 2 couples and enough over lap that it didn't feel like you were reading 2 different books. The playroom scenes with Camilla and Ellis were not stuff and the budding relationship between Greyson and Sasha was sweet.

Since this book was much longer than the first and the conclusion there was much more upheaval. It definitely keeps you on your toes and glued to the story, not wanting to put it down even for a second. Greyson and Liam are both hilarious, they are definitely comedic relief among serious situations. I'm sad this story is over, I definitely want more Greyson and Sasha in my life. Maybe Ruby will take pity on us and write a novella. 😉

Holy cow this book is fantastic it starts where book one left off. This book is well written, you will fall in love with the characters. The love between Camilla and Ellis is a love to last forever. As I was reading this book I felt like I was living in it. This book is most definitely a must read. I will say it again FANTASTIC!! Well done Ruby Rowe....

I was worried that this second book wasn't going to be as good as the first, I had nothing to worry about. I only wish I could give it more stars. I love the transformation that Ellis goes through. Oh and Greyson that man is mine...excellent writing with characters I will crave more from.

I longed to believe my bond with Ellis was impenetrable, but in reality, I held secrets that could blow open the tightly woven seam of our newfound relationship. Interesting story line, good characters unfortunately I had this on audiobook and with two narrators voicing four different characters it got pretty confusing at times.

  • Lorena Garcia -- Brittany's Book Blog

Wow, this book had my complete and utter undivided attention from beginning to end.

I couldn't seem to find myself a moment where I wanted to put it down.

I completely devoured this book in one sitting.

We get the conclusion of Camilla and Ellis' love story and boy what a love story it was. We also get a glimpse of Sasha, Camilla's sister and Greyson, Ellis' cousin.

Greyson helped Sasha out with dishing out the money to put her in a rehab home so she can get cleaned out of being a drug addict. The reason for this is because Greyson was a drug addict once before and he likes to help people and Sasha happened to be one of the people he wanted to help. But it doesn't help that Greyson has grown an attraction towards Sasha and vice versa. When Sasha decides to leave the rehab center, Greyson suggested she stay with him to let Camilla and Ellis work out their relationship. But their attraction just keeps growing and growing. Unfortunately Greyson is in a loveless relationship due to an arranged marriage and he can't seem to find a way out of that arrangement.

The question now is, how much does Sasha mean to him and is he willing to break the rules and not go through with the arranged marriage? What will happen with Sasha, will she relapse or can she be strong enough to move on from Greyson?

Meanwhile, Ellis and Camilla have a lot to work out. Camilla is hiding something and obviously her relationship with Ellis can't move forward if she doesn't come clean and just spill everything out. It will be up to Ellis if he wants to continue and move forward with Camilla and her son or cut ties and let her go.

I absolutely loved this story and I especially got attached to Greyson and Sasha. I was looking forward to each chapter that involved them. Don't get me wrong, I loved the storyline behind Ellis and Camilla too, but something about Greyson and Sasha just had my fully, undivided attention.

The conclusion to this love story was fantastic and I absolutely love this duet. Can't wait to get more from this author as she's grown on me and I'm loving her books!

    5 amazing stars!

I enjoyed the first book better. This one contains TWO couples. I felt the new couple deserved one of their own. Questions are answered from first book. Writing is good. Storyline just bugged me.

  • Lauren Seiberling (Romance Novel Giveaways)

A beautiful ending to this story!

First of all, this is a continuation of The Terms: Part One. I don't think you will enjo this book unless you read the other one first!

I LOVE so many things about this book. It was like a two-for-one bonus! I got to read not only Camilla and Ellis' story, but I learned the outcome of Sasha and Greyson too. While I would have eagerly read their story in its own book, including Sasha and Greyson gave this book like a "soap opera" feel; I was INTO what was going on with Camilla and Ellis, then boom! The story switches to the other couple. The anticipation I felt was awesome, and this aspect was very well-orchestrated :)

Ruby writes the best characters. They are all smart and realistic, even little Liam. Her writing is so thorough, too. She doesn't just gloss over scenes, nope! She writes just the right amount of actions and details, emotions and dialogue that actually puts you IN the story.

And, true to form, SMOKING HOTNESS is sprinkled throughout. Yes, Camilla and Ellis enjoy very non-vanilla recreational activities, but even during these scenes, the love between them is front-and-center.

I can't wait for more books from Ruby!!!!!

(I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

  • Amanda

I love this book, book 2 is even better than the first book. Ruby Rowe has made me a huge fan of hers and I highly recommend everyone trying this series, you will love it like I do.

  • Chantal

Ruby had us waiting for the final chapters of the The Terms. I can honestly say it was worth it. She delivered and provided answers to a lot of lingering questions. This was book told a multiple person POV. She elaborated on more behind the scenes things for Greyson and Sasha as well.

Camilla is finally learning to trust Ellis. Although the fear of her past always creeps up. She is working hard with her schooling, as well as taking care of Liam. She is also trying to help her sister, Sasha.

Ellis has been through a lot and discovers a lot about his brothers past. He has opened u his home and his heart to Camilla and Liam. Ellis has always had a hard time dealing with his feelings, especially when it's stressing him.

Camilla and Ellis pick up as a happy couple. Ellis discovers that Liam is more than his nephew. How he handles this news is a whirlwind of emotions. Sasha left rehab and moves in Greyson. Their friendship grows and she learns to trust someone other than her sister again. Ellis had a friend find out information about Chris and what he unfolds is completely thrown Ellis and Camilla. Camilla is extra careful with Liam and introducing him to his grandparents.

What information did Ellis discover about Chris? How do Greyson and Sasha play out? Can Camilla and Ellis survive everything thrown at them?

This book was a great read! I recommend reading the first installment to understand what is happening. Although this book was mostly about Camilla and Ellis, I would love to see more about Sasha and Greyson.

    5 STARS

I have no words to tell you how spectacular, this story is. What a magnificent ending to this duet from this talented amazing author!!

The second book in this duet is a continuation of Camilla and Ellis' story and of course we are reading the story from their POV and also we are heaing the story from Sasha and Greyson's POV too. This story is full of everything you could want in a book along with really relatable characters!! The past and secrets are out, and the truth will set them all free. This book has dynamic characters that you will fall in love with and they make you feel like you are a part of the story and their lives, this is a true measure of a great writer when she can tell the story and make you feel every heart breaking, love filled, dramatic event and emotion these characters go through!! I love the banter between Sasha and Greyson, I feel the love and heat from Camilla and Ellis and of course I love the humor from sweet little Liam.

Add this all up and it makes for a page turning edge of the seat read to the very end!!! Thank you to Author Ruby Rowe for sharing this story for readers to enjoy and I hope many of you pick up the conclusion of this duet and enjoy it as much as I did!!

  • Sarah O'Kelly

I was so happy to be able to read this book! Book one ended on a cliffhanger so getting the second book asap was much needed! And I am happy to say that Ruby did not keep us waiting too long! Sometimes I find the gaps between books in a series are so far apart that you need to re read the book before you can start the next however this was not the problem here , one quick read of the last chapter of part one and it all clicked into place!

Book 2 started right off where book 1 finished and the pace is just as fast! Eli's and Camilla's relationship is still moving forward but you know that there is a cloud hanging over their heads and you are waiting for the shoe to drop on every turn of the page!

I will not give any spoilers away but all I wail say is that the truth has to come out in order for all parties to move on!

I loved how Grayson and Sasha were brought into the story too and gave the second book a different dimension!

I really enjoyed this duet and cannot wait for more of Ruby's work!

I voluntarily read this ARC for an honest review!

OMG! OMG! OMG! I wanted what felt like forever for this part 2 of the duet and all I can say is OMG. If you thought part 1 was good get ready to have your head blown. No thanks to Christopher and his revenge on Tony and Camilla. Ellis and Camilla's relationship grows stronger. Ellis saves the day by saving Camilla and Sasha so they no longer have to look over their shoulders ans can feel safe for once. The saves Greyson from making the biggest mistake he would had ever made. Making Greyson and Sasha's relationship become hot, hot, hot. This book goes to prove that even the rich want to be richer and they don't care if the hurt their own family to do it. Ruby Rowe didn't let us down with this one. I would highly recommend this duet to anyone looking for a great love story or two.

I hope Greyson and Sasha gets at least a novella. I fell in love with those two.

  • Erica

Book two is when all hell breaks loose.
Secrets are unleashed, truths no one expected come to light.
While Sasha and Greyson's story is interwoven and keeps this from being entirely focused on Ellis and Camilla, it only adds to the story.

I got the ending I knew was coming, well I hoped. I had issues with Christopher almost from day one so his eventual behavior wasn't a shock in the least, his secrets were though.
This one moved much faster for me than book one, there was so much more packed into this volume it kept me reading straight through in one day.
I look forward to more from this author, this duet has introduced me to an author I think I could love.
    4 stars.
