I just finished this and... I just... I can't.... it was.... a WILD ride. 😳
Ok. First things first. It is NOT a dark book.
But the H is an asshole with a Breeding kink
There is:
- Age Gap (the guy is 48 and mostly sleeps with 18-year-olds)
- H is a Marine so he's HOT

Yeah this was fucked up.
But the age gap and impregnation taboo is one i enjoy but yeah this had a serious creep element to it which made it sap any real enjoyment out of it overall.
Ended up skipping a lot of it.
If this is your kink then itll be a good read but yeah rather than being in the grey area that i can tolerate it was very much too close to the evil sick side of things for me personally.
Still love the author and even if this wasnt my cuppa tea its still good quality writing for what it is. -
