The Texan's Twins (Lone Star Legacy, #2) Reviews

This is a Clean Cowboy Romance, and this is the second book in the Lone Star Legacy Series. The beginning of this book had me pulled into it right away. I loved all the wildlife in this book, and the little girls were just so cute and really made this story come to life. I did find that this story's pacing was a little slow at times. There was a little suspense mixed into this book which really helped to make this book really come to life. I really enjoyed reading this book.

This was my first Inspirational Romance read in a very long time - we're talking decades- and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the story. I'm a sucker for second chance romances and this story definitely delivered! This book features a cowboy hero with a lot to make up for, interesting family dynamics (I loved Danica and her sisters), and a story set around an animal rescue center in the Texas Hill Country. Filled with really strong emotional connections, the love between Danica and Reid was a joy to read. I loved the book so much I'm going to read the others in the series!

I've always enjoyed reading Jolene Navarro's books. She has always had a good storyline and this story is no exception. In it we meet Danica Bergmann who has kept a secret for 6 years and he walks in the door. Reid McAllister disappeared 6 years ago with no explanation. This story is about acceptance and forgiveness. The hardest thing is to move forward and forgive. The next thing is to break the silence of the secret of her husband. Reading the story and watching the story unfold was worth reading. For life happens. Acceptance is the hardest thing to find and when you do its worth its weight in gold. As Reid finds it in the end. Its a great book to read and worth it. J

Falling in love usually happens so fast. But falling out of love takes time, but really does it ever end? Danica is in for the surprise of her life when Reid McAllister comes strolling back into her life. She struggles to keep her secret hidden but it doesn’t take long for it to be revealed.

Will she give Reid a second chance to make things right and become a father to his girls? Reid sure hopes so. As he reflects on all that he has done wrong in his life he just prayers for the chance to right his wrongs. Will Danica give him that chance?

She follows her heart and in the end stands up to her father and follows her heart. She has prayed for guidance to help her make the right decision for herself and her girls.

This story is one that will capture your heart and pull at your heart strings.

    it was a good story.

How does one repair a breach of trust? This was a lovely story of redemption. Danica's husband disappeared, technically he went to prison. He just didn't want her to know that's why he bailed shortly after their wedding. He hadn't planned on reuniting with his wife, but his mandatory parole work after prison just happened to be with his wife who would have loved to kick him to the curb if her wildlife sanctuary wouldn't be forced to close if Reid leaves. I loved this story of two people learning to forgive, forget, and move forward with love and God on their side.
