Warriors of the Hollow World Reviews

The concept of Laughing Gods is profound. I am curious about how it continues in the (hopefully) next book?

This book is really a hidden gem. The prose is beautifully poetic in a way that I feel a lot of modern literature has moved away from in preference for the short and terse style...but if you are like me there is something about a beautiful sentence, a beautiful paragraph that is captivating.
Nor is the command of language the only quality with which Warriors of the Hollow World recommends itself. The world building is amazing. I found myself getting lost in the twists and turns of the universe. What is especially amazing about the universe is that Steven R. Brandt doesn't limit the exploration to one culture, but allows the reader often conflicting views of things like morality, honor and personal worth. -
This was a very cool story from the beginning all the way to the end. A really well-done piece of writing, that was both a wild ride and yet somehow thought-provoking at the same time. A really rare feat in the Science Fiction genre. The evil entity known as "The Laughing Gods" by their legions of Draetch followers we're seriously impressive. The heroic leaders of the fight against Draetch were far from the usual one-dimensional characters, but rather multifaceted and complex. And the mixture of alien science, religion, and ethics was fascinating rather than distracting. All in all, a Great-read from start to finish, that I can highly recommend.
