Will he accept her love for free, or will she be the one to pay the price?
DEVOTION - Isabel Alvarez has dedicated herself to her work, determined to prove her worth to her British billionaire boss, Phillip Spears, the only man willing to hire her--a pregnant, college dropout-when no one else would. So when she receives a mysterious bouquet of blush pink roses at the office, she assumes it must be a mistake until she reads her own name on the card's envelope and its enigmatic inscription:"This is only the beginning..." An alluring succession of seductive gifts follows, and soon, Isabel must decide whether or not to jeopardize the security of her professional career in order to submit herself to the forbidden fantasies of her persistent secret admirer.

Closer
Famous Dutch architect, Sven van der Meer, has just completed the greatest achievement of his professional life- the design and construction of The Spire, Chicago's tallest, most controversial skyscraper. A shameful secret threatens to destroy his prestigious career. Now, he's run out of time and the only woman qualified to help maintain his charade of invincibility is also the one woman who despises him. Will the twenty-eight year old, woefully unemployed, Inez Sanchez be the right woman to play the role of his pretend girlfriend? or will the temptation of getting too close, too fast jeopardize their business arrangement?
Love... Love this book! Inez is sass and bluntness as well as Sven's moodiness and hotness. The love scenes were HOT, erotic and nearly perfect!
Exes
There's only two people who loved each other- not that long ago- and lost their way."
A second chance romance that you won't be able to put down! Alma Castillo is a top fine arts antique expert specializing in glass works in Chicago. She is obsesses with Louis Comfort Tiffany, the leading artist in fine glass work and jewelry. Once married and now divorced to Harvey Zale, billionaire architect, asshole in everyway, caring only about money and his buildings. When her sister sets her up secretly through a series of sexting, she feels bold, she can "...pretend to be someone fearless and uninhibited -someone she rarely allowed herself to be."
She finds out that her ex-husband is about to demolish a building that holds antique Tiffany windows, but to get to those windows she must first go through her husband. Times have not changed since the last time she saw him; he still is the ruthless, money mogul who has a touch of asshole-ness to him.
Unknowing to Alma, Harvey still yearns for her. So when she is back in his path, he holds nothing back to "hopefully" win her back, but can he change his ways? Can Alma let the past go?
Just when you think the unveiling of each others sexting persona is revealed, Ms. Hawthorne keeps you turning page for more!! Harvey is an alpha jerk but deep down he is a sweet teddy bear and longs for his ex to return home. Alma is a driven female who knows what she wants, but deep down is missing that male-love connection.
Can't say enough wonderful and amazing words on this second chance romance!
Priceless follows Maribel Martinez a jewelry sale associate who keeps to herself, she is shy and takes pride in her work. Miles Braxton-Worth is a real estate developer who is ruthless and looking for a change. Miles spots Maribel working at the counter and sets his sights on her for a valentine’s weekend worth remembering. Miles are Maribel had perfect chemistry and were both humble from where they came from. Miles former girlfriend is jealous of his relationship and looks to cause trouble in all areas of his life, business and relationship.
Will Maribel and Miles get a happy ending or are they two different to be able to fall in love?
A romance story that was slow and steady for the characters to realize they were falling in love. The writing was smooth and the chemistry between the characters was natural and enjoyable. This book had every aspect that you’re looking for in a contemporary romance with a little drama to spice up the book. The drama helped added to the story but true to its name the author kept the story a priceless love, worth fighting for.
“She is one incredibly special women. Someone with whom I’ve had the pleasure of watching for years, but only recently have been given the opportunity to get to know better. And the way she makes me feel- the way I feel when I look into her eyes- is more priceless to me than any piece of jewelry I could buy for her” – Miles to Maribel while shopping for jewelry
Devotion is a book full a mystery and fantasy of role playing that will surely make you blush!
Isabel is a single mom, down on her luck when Phillip offered her a position at his company, later she becomes his most trusted employee. Philip is British CEO who is cold, domineering, and loyal. The mystery admirer ignites a fire in Isabel making her confident at working, which many co-workers notice. Isabel had deal with her mystery man and her boss who begins to act cold and distant.
Who is the mystery man? Will Isabel be able to manage the mystery man and work?
A mystery that keeps the reader guessing who the mysterious man is. The intimate scenes between the mystery man and Isabel heated up the book, as the fantasy was a very dominant submissive relationship without the pain just pleasure. Philip's growth development from the beginning to the end of the book was well written. “Alone- but not abandoned. My devotion is now boundless. See you tonight. Monroe Harbor. Ten o’clock.” – a note left by mystery man -
Amazing
Well, I’ve swooned, gasped, laughed, cringed, laughed some more, gotten frustrated and then finally awwwwwed through this box set of alpha billionaires who meet their matches in the form of formidable women.
Highly recommend you squirrel away your time reading these fantastic stories. -
So sometimes it's hard to rate a collection in one shot but not this one. I enjoyed books one three and four. Book two wasn't my thing. But seriously this author can write and each story had such strong personality that you couldn't help but get drawn in! I am so excited to have added an new to me author to read.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. -
The Chicago Billionaires is a box set worth reading! The stories are loosely tied together by four successful men who are in the business of Chicago building and real estate and who will find their snarky, take no nonsense women who will unequivocally change their lives. Here are my individual reviews of each of the four fantastic and must read stories which are included…
Closer – 5 Stars
Inez is a single mother to a young child and looking for work at a temp agency. She might also have a little issue with being quiet and doing what she’s told when it doesn’t suit her. She is a strong, educated woman and can not pretend to be any less than that.
Sven has built the largest most ambitious building in Chicago, the Spire. But soon after he has an accident that has caused his entire life and career to start crumbling before him. Sven hires Inez for the job as his companion to get him through the next few days navigating parties in his honor and to hide the fact that his eyesight is failing him. But in the short few days that he and Inez spend together Sven starts to realize that what he thought he wanted out of life may have been very shortsighted.
‘And accept it (an award) without the blindness of ego that fueled my ambition to build the Spire, but rather a humility that now quiets the soul’
This book was a refreshing take on a common story line, but without the common predictable and overused scenarios that tend to be written. Inez was a refreshing, strong woman, and I loved her relationship with her hilarious grandmother. Sven and Inez not only are navigating the world trying to hide his impending blindness, but they are also keeping exes and colleagues from ruining their chance at happiness.
Exes – 5 Stars
What a fantastic read!
This book starts with Harvey, who has succeeded in his career, is on track to build the biggest towers in the world, but is feeling empty. He has been divorced from the love of his life for a year and is trying to move on. So starts the beginning of a ‘relationship’ with a mystery woman from which he received her phone number from an acquaintance.
Then we are introduced to Alma, who is an antique restorer, loves all things historical and wants to save them all. Alma, is also divorced, and has started doing a little sexting with a mystery man…
Harvey and Alma, turns out are divorced from each other. Harvey is still very hung up on his ex-wife and Alma can’t see the Harvey she fell in love with now that this new Harvey has found his success in tearing down the history in the old buildings they once wanted to restore together.
The characters made this book such a fun read with every humorous thing that was said, I loved Alma’s sister and father and the relationships they still have with Harvey. Add in a little mystery, some history, Chicago architecture and of course some hot encounters between Harvey and Alma! This book was a pleasant surprise, had a nice fast pace, but well developed, likable characters. Truly a must read.
Priceless – 4 Stars
Miles Braxton-Worth has been watching Maribel Martinez from afar… she is a shop girl in a department store in his work building. On Valentines Day Eve he decides to finally approach her.
Maribel knows who Miles Braxton-Worth is… everyone who works in her building does… but the fact that he knows her… by name? That was not something she was expecting.
With their fantastic chemistry and undeniable attraction, they both head for an intense weekend of getting to know each other… but when Valentines Day is over and their real world starts interfering, will what they have found in each other withstand the differences in their lives?
Once again, this was a amazing story. I love that Miles doesn’t care or really even notice the differences in his and Maribel’s means and existences. He is into her and wants to spoil her and all he can hope is that she lets him. Maribel is wary of Miles and if his feelings for are indeed genuine. She doesn’t want him to feel like he needs to buy her and she isn’t dazzled by all of his money, she just likes him for who he is and can’t seem to keep herself from giving into him repeatedly.
Miles and Maribel have some hot and steamy sex, a fast whirlwind romance and after it all, you find they have an even deeper meaning and understanding that they share.
Devotion – 4 Stars
Isabel Alvarez has established herself as an irreplaceable asset to her boss Phillip Spears. She has his respect, the entire office staffs… and also his professional competition. So when mysterious gifts start showing up, with vague cards attached, she decides she needs to tread carefully. Because not only is Phillip her boss and a man she respects, he also gave her the opportunity to establish herself in his company when she was at her most vulnerable. The lifestyle he has afforded her and her young son, and the chance he took on her is something that deserves her utmost loyalty.
But the gifts turn into clandestine meetings in the shadows, and some intimate encounters with a man she hasn’t seen, but has definitely been close to… the only problem is… who is Isabel’s mystery man?
This book was a very enjoyable read. I loved Isabel’s loyalty, but also her spine. She is a smart woman, who has never let her circumstances drag her down in life. While she struggles with taking time for herself, away from work or her son, she realizes how important being treated well, by her mystery man is, and she takes that experiences, just for herself.
While the story did move fairly slowly at times, it was still full of some good guy vs opportunist business competition, a cute little kid, a strong heroine, some hot sex scenes, and the mystery of who is pursing Isabel. I would definitely recommend this solid, sweet, well written read.
I received a complimentary copy of this box set for my honest and unbiased review. -

Exes: Wow, this was an excellent contemporary billionaire romance. Alma is one of the leading antique window and jewelry appraisers. She and her father work together to give estimates and preserve the past. One of her favorites is Tiffany. Harvey is a billionaire who isn't worried so much about the past as he is about his worth. I really enjoyed the constant banter these two characters have thoughout the story. They are now exes and were married until a year ago. Ms. Hawthorne gives little tidbits into their past while trying to build their future. There are surprises twists and turns for the readers enjoyment. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. Looking forward to reading future books by this author.
Priceless: Excellent contemporary billionaire romance. Miles was an excellent student and became a millionaire in his early 20's. He worked and played hard all while making more and more money. Maribel has worked at his department store, since she was a teenager, for a decade now. She has worked hard, often staying late or coming in early. During that time she moved up into more difficult positions as Miles stayed in the background watching to see if she's stay true to her dedication, she did. Their relationship takes a sudden change. There are ups and downs as well as personal hardships that make these two main characters come together and work on a relationship. I received a complementary copy of this book/set and chose to write a review. I very much look forward to reading future books by this author. -
CLOSER - 4 Stars
Sven is a billionaire architect that is going blind and doesn't want anyone to know. He needs a fake girlfriend to help him navigate the celebrate of the opening of his architectural creation, The Sphere. Inez is a single mother struggling to make ends meet when she is offered the job that will definitely help her with supporting her daughter and grandmother ... all she has to do is pretend to be Sven's girlfriend. But what happens when he wants Inez in his bed and she is starting to have feelings for him? Throw in an ex-boyfriend and an ex-girlfriend that don't want to be exes at all ... and you have a book with twists and turns, humor, romance and heartbreak. I thoroughly enjoyed this book ... cover to cover.
EXES - 4 1/2 Stars
This is the 1st book that I have read from this author, and I quite enjoyed it. Alma divorced Harvey a year ago because he wasn't the same man she married. He used to love going on antique hunts with her and help her to preserve the past, but he has become a real estate developer and now wants to build the tallest buildings in the world ... tearing down the past. Alma is still in love with the "old" Harvey. Then one night Alma gets a text from a stranger and they begin a sexting affair. When this stranger wants to meet in person, she is torn between the 2 men. She wants to move on, but all of a sudden Harvey keeps showing up in her life. Alma is a Chicago's leading expert in historic stained glass and the building Harvey plans to bulldoze down apparently has more than a dozen stained glass windows and Alma is sent to evaluate them. I found the banter between the exes quite entertaining ... and Alma's sister is just hilarious (she needs her own book, because there is definitely a story there). That's pretty much all I can say without spoiling the book for others ... because this is a MUST read!
PRICELESS - 3 Stars
Maribel has worked at a department store for the last 10 years with the last 8 in the fine jewelry department. Then the day before Valentine’s Day, Miles (the billionaire who works upstairs) comes to her counter and asks her out. The chemistry between them is undeniable but their worlds are very different ... will they be able to overcome the differences? Although the premise of the book is good, I found it a little cheesy at times ... but the sex scenes were HOT and made up for It!
DEVOTION - 4 1/2 Stars
Isabel found herself at 24 alone and pregnant. The only person that would hire her was Phillip ... a British billionaire who made his fortune in real estate. Five years later, Isabel gets 3 dozen pink roses with a card that says "This is only the beginning" and then the gifts become more expensive and personal. But she has no idea who they are from ... Jett a co-worker; Gary her bosses lawyer; Eliot her bosses business rival or Phillip her boss. Nothing or no one is who they seem to be. This book will keep you guessing till the end! And wow ... the sex scenes! Isabel lost herself in the pleasure of being treated like a woman. A great read.

Closer-4 stars-Sven is losing his sight, and as an architect, it means a loss of his career. He hires Inez to be his fake girlfriend, so she can help him through some important events.
Inez is brilliant, unafraid to say what she thinks, and challenges Sven and his brother and Sven's ex girlfriend.
Her secret is the baby she's had with her ex, a philandering artist. When Sven finds out, he unhesitatingly takes on baby Luna.
He still manages to mess things up, but fixes them, and wins back his girls, even Inez' grandmother.
Loved this story.
Exes-4 stars-Read as a standalone previously. Review copied.
This was a very disjointed book. Some parts were 5 star worthy, some more like 2.
I really like Harvey and Alma, and the quirky sexting they unknowingly do with each other. The kinky sex doesn't fit with the rest of their story, could have been toned down a bit.
Also, the random dating site Conchita put Alma on was totally irrelevant. The adventure part of the book, searching for a Tiffany window, was exciting, but actually got lost in the rest of the story.
The author was trying to stuff too many threads into the main one, so it detracts from it, in my view. It was still a great read, with some interesting history and lots of funny bits.
Priceless-4 stars-Miles takes a chance on asking Maribel out for Valentine's Day. She can't believe he noticed her, and made her feel special with how he looked at her.
As they spend time together, they discover their sad histories of loss are connected, and the bond they share has not material ties, only emotional ones.
Love to hate Gillian, a nasty ex who can't play fair, and live Timothy, Miles' friend and Maribel's ally, for a short time.
Miles is sweet, and smart enough to realize he's not happy, and that Maribel is what he needs to make his life better. Good book.
Devotion-4 stars-Isabel, a trusted assistant to Philip, is extremely capable, but alone. She has a secret admirer, with whom she starts a liberating affair, when all she's had for the last 5 years is her roles as employee and mother.
As she tries to figure out who her man is, she becomes entangled in the competition between Philip, her sophisticated English boss, and his suave and sexy nemesis, Eliot.
When she discovers who her lover is, it causes a lot of pain to them both, but they manage to overcome it, and to tackle their challenges together.
Really enjoyable book, with romance, mystery, and deeper stories uncovered.

I received an ARC's of all of these books individually and I loved them all.
Closer 5*
Yet again Aria has created another wonderful story. Inez helped Sven see what is truly important in life, not making money but being a better person. She is so sassy but her caring side shines through. Sven soon realises what is important to him, not being a world renowned architect but having the woman and her baby that he loves by his side.
Exes 5*
I love Aria's books as she is so descriptive. It feels like you can see all the beautiful windows that Alma & Harvey are looking at.
Harvey & Alma had been married but got divorced when he lost sight of what was important in life. I loved the treasure hunt around Chicago that ultimately makes them realize what is really important.
Priceless 5*
Maribel has worked as a jewelry store clerk for awhile and then the night before Valentine's Day she is asked to assist Mile, the owner with choosing a gift. The chemistry sizzles throughout this book.
Devotion 5*
I absolutely loved this story. I laughed & cried whilst reading their story, which I always think is the mark of a great story. Phillip & Isabel had amazing chemistry together but I think the real star of the book is Isabel's son Aidan, he is just adorable. -
Each book was great as a stand-alone
I really feel most for Harvey Zale in the second book. I could really use someone who bought me vintage Tiffany and did my ironing what is not to love? So I struggled with him still portrayed as a bad guy in the next two books. I think there are one or two things that didn't follow through the four books properly.
It didn't stop me reading but I usually enjoy meeting characters I had grown to love in one book showing their faces in another, but if you couldn't follow through the same character just use a different name for them... does that make sense? -
Omg I'm in love with the characters and their stories !
Each book made my heart beat faster, tears roll out of my ,eyes I was cracking up. I was so engrossed & swept up in the lives of the characters. So well written, so relatable, such strong passion and love .The real deal. I definitely would recommend this book series, it's so good. I was given the opportunity to read it for my honest opinion
I will be reading this book again sometime soon. It was that good ,😘 -
Where to start!
With two of the stories having the same storylines where the heroine didn't "know" the hero in the dark was beyond my spectrum! && domination during the sex acts made this series a hard read for me but my enthusiasm to know what happened in the story kept me reading also the last story where you had know idea or inkling they were in love or even like each other was infuriating when they decided to link up! Not to mention not one story had real closure! -
Fantastic series full of twists and turns. I originally read these books individually and I read Book 3 first and was never lost. Each of these books can absolutely be read as a stand-alone, but I did find the experience to be richer reading them in order (and back to back)
While there is a little repetition, there is enough difference to each story that it never got boring. The timelines flow well, details are provided when needed and there is a comfort to the style of writing. -
Quick Summary: Hit, miss, hit, huh
Story 1: 4/5
Story 2: 0/5 (This story never really took off for me. It was so difficult to move forward and beyond it that I almost stopped reading the entire collection. It truly was a DNF.)
Story 3: 4/4
Story 4: 3-/5
Overall Rating: 2.75/5

I had read three of the enclosed books outside of the the collection.
The collection of the Chicago Billionaires is worth every penny.
Each of the leading men brought something different to the table.
I loved Sven's personality and his devotion to his craft.
I hated Harvey, well thru most of the book but he did redeem himself in the end.
Miles, OMG what can one say about him. I loved how he carried himself.
Phillip was just so charismatic.
Each man will offer you an escape from reality and an adventure that will not disappoint.. -
Holy Mud
This box set was fantastic!! I was hooked from the beginning! I love the fact that she strings the characters from one book to the next. Totally smut read! I mean a must read!! Lol I will be looking for more from this author. -
All 4 are great!
Each novel in the collection was hot. Aria Hawthorne weaves Chicago architecture and history with love and business, creating an enticing blend I didn't want to end! -
4 steamy romances!
Lots of jewelry, steamy sex scenes and intricate business schemes and dealings.
These 4 stories were independent with a few overlapping characters. Loved feeling like I was in the heart of Chicago. Great descriptive writing! -
3.5
Nice contemporary romance box set.
