**I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book**
I’ve never read a book from this author before. Once I started reading this story I got sucked right in. Learning about Gia’s past and her connection to vampires.
However, I just can’t say I felt the feelings between Layton and Gia. Layton acted like an ass the entire time they were together. Gia at the beginning was one who didn’t bend to a man’s rule. She kept mentioning that she wasn’t a weak woman and I agreed…Until she just kept going back to Layton constantly. Love just came out of the blue.
This story ends on a cliffhanger, and although I didn’t feel the emotions behind the characters I still plan to keep up with this author if she continues with this story. -
Interesting book on vampires, dhampirs, humans and love. I'm not certain it's what I expected in regards to the Sassy Ever After universe. I loved that the sex wasn't over the top. My biggest complaint was that the search for her brother, his sister, the major "parental"plot twist, the secret community, and her father's death were brought up and hooked me but then are never resolved. The ending was reminiscent of the classic "The Lady or the Tiger" in its conclusion. I'll be reading more by this author, though.

I need more!!!!!!
Another page turner by this author. This "Who dunnit" has a little Pretty Woman and Twilight mixed into a fantastic story. Gia's brother is missing. Everything points to him last being at a Vampire sex club. Not one to back down, she goes looking for answers. Little does she realize, she going to get answers to a while new set of questions. -
A great vampire story!
