Claude Monet: Sunshine and Waterlilies Reviews
-
This is from the smart about art book series. This book is in the form of a student written book report on artist Claude Monet. It has great facts about the artist, connections that the students made with the artist, picture by the artist and imitations of the artist work by the student. These books are so fun yet informative. They can also inspire students to research about a famous artist, author, musician, etc. and write their own book about them.

A lot of elementary students lean about Claude Monet during art classes and try to paint like him. This is a great book for teachers to use to teach students about Monet's life. It can parallel their art class. The book itself is easy to read and very informative. There are lots of Monet's paintings in the book as well.

Written as a student’s class report on the artist Money, it is highly engaging and informative.
Lots of fun facts and pieces of his work.
Well done. A+ -
so good! and such a good model for how to write a report. Cute illustrations also help make it accessible to kids. Would def have in a classroom library.

Monet - simple but good presentation

A wonderful addition to any elementary or middle school art class or library covering Monet or Impressionism. I think 5th graders would benefit the most from this read since that is the year that they typically do their first biography reports; this is told in a biography report fashion.

Read this for Bella's second book club! Can't wait to see their paintings this Sunday!

A wonderful book for art in first grade.
