Who Needs a King? Reviews

This was added into the back of the eBook of one of the "The Lucky Monkey" stories, and it is better. It was cute.

This is a cute, well illustrated story, I have read several by this author and find all the books are fun and amazing to help children learn to love reading. I would have liked to see a rhyming story to match the fun pictures. I did love the author added a moral to the cute story about the importance of being yourself.

WOW! What a funny story with some beautiful images, great for 0-8's.
I thought this was a great short story of how a young bear learns it's better to be himself than a king or anyone else which equaled happiness and comradship with his friends. So, I wish to recommend this for five stars and for kids ages 0-8 and or in grades P-3. I received this for free using KU! And in retyrn, here is my honest review. Super work Efrat! By Angela -
“Who Needs a King” is a cute book with a cute likeable teddy bear as its main character, with beautiful drawings. It is a story that is fun to read and which has an important lesson that teaches children how to act in a way that will prompt others to like them.
The teddy bear finds clothes that look like clothes belonging to a king: a cloak, crown, and wand. He thinks he can be a king by wearing them, as many kids think they are the character of the clothes they are wearing when they wear costumes.
He tries to show other animals that he is their king, but they are not impressed. Although once his friends, they reject him.
What should he do? What should children reading this tale do? The teddy bear figures out what to do, and so will children when they read the tale.
They will enjoy the story, be prompted to think, and learn a lot.
