Women Write: A Mosaic Of Women's Voices in Fiction, Poetry, Memoir and Essay Reviews

I was really excited to read this book; I think it could have been wonderful. However, I felt like what was included were stories of women who were confused about their role as women and looking for peace and purpose in all the wrong places. I wanted to be inspired but was disappointed instead. I did enjoy some of the memoirs and letters, but as a whole, this book was lacking for me.

Editor Cahill "presents a collection of the most brilliant fiction, memoirs, poetry, letters and essays by women who present uniquely, from a female perspective, works that span centuries, countries and sensibilities". A very good and thought-provoking read.
