Regular Show: Parks and Wreck Reviews

  • Wilde Sky

A series of short illustrated stories.

There were a few clever sections / pieces.

    Reading time around one hour.

  • Adam Fisher

A collection a short tales that feel like very brief episodes, yet still so funny.
    - Mordecai gets a new pair of pump-up basketball shoes. When Rigby borrows them, they get caught up in an intergalactic game of basketball.
    - Mordecai and Rigby decide to quit all electronics. When they are visited by the WiFi devil, they realize that though they would love to become completely immersed in tech, they would miss pizza too much.
    - Rigby brings home a box of old games and they summon a genie when they try to blow on an unmarked cartridge. Receiving 6 "real-life cheat codes", they spend the day evading death and having so much fun. (This should be a full length episode!)
-Muscle Man helps out by agreeing to be a Scout Leader for the day. All he really teaches them is how to be lazy and steal nachos. LOL
    - Mordecai's belief in druids and the Spring Equinox is made questionable when LARPers show up for their annual celebration.
    - Benson shows the boys why they shouldn't waste their time with a paper airplane tournament... by defeating them at their own game.
    - Mordecai's Canadian cousin Geoff comes to rest on his fly south. He WAY overstays his welcome and the boys are forced to fake Christmas to get him to leave.
    - Eileen gets possessed by the evil spirit of the Equinox when she witnesses a secret ceremony that Skips and his friends conduct to usher in Spring. Everyone must band together to save her from Melon Collie. LOL
    - When the group finds out that Rigby is conning them in order to get more cake for his birthday, they turn on him. However, he uses his birthday wish to wish them all away. Getting bored, he tries to right the wish, but is forced by the 3 clown members of the birthday council to eat 365 cakes before they will reverse the wish. When he does, and everything is restored, he runs away when they try to give him his real birthday cake.
    - High-5 Ghost lets everyone read his chaotic and meta graphic novel.
    - Rigby enters a Roller Skating tournament to get revenge for an embarrassing skating event that Mordecai had when he was younger. As he tries to win, they find out the tournament is for little kids only.... and they run away in embarrassment.
    - Eileen makes Rigby a fancy dinner. He tries to return the favor, but only makes a huge mess. In turn, she teaches him how to make grilled cheese. LOL
    - Muscle Man shows up to the park with a new two-seater bike. Skidding on the pavement, he accidentally releases a bicycling gang who he then has to send back to hell by having Starla help him pull off some sweet moves.

I wish there were some longer stories here and more consistent art. Otherwise, very good. Recommend, especially if you like Regular Show.
