Aram Green knows he’s a cliche—the divorce lawyer who doesn’t believe in love—the Dom who uses structure and rules to control his emotions. He has no intention of letting the checklist game—a challenge designed by the overseers of his exclusive BDSM club—change him, or the way he dominates.
A passionate, wary submissive.
Charlie is both thrilled and terrified by the crazy checklist game. She came to BDSM because of her love hate relationship with her body, which makes it hard for her to open herself to new Doms. But when she meets Master Green she’s drawn to the older man, who is both stern and intensely passionate.
A challenge neither will back down from.
Determined to push them both, Aram takes her outside the club to complete the more risky items on their checklist, a decision that brings emotion into their play. Determined to keep their relationship confined to the checklist game, Aram pushes Charlie away. When she runs from him, he’ll have to decide if he’s willing to relax his own rules, and fight to keep Charlie even after they’re done with the letter E.

It’s high time i continued my Checklist, and knowing who the Dom was that got the letter E?
I KNEW he was in for a life changing surprise and i couldn’t wait to get started.
Finding out who he was paired with? Icing on the cake!
Aram Green has seen too many marriages fail to even think about commitment.
When he sees the young sub he’s been paired with,he’s willing to play, but that’s it.
Even when Charlie pleasantly surprises him with her quick wit and her beautiful submission.
The more time they spend together, the more he starts to like her.
But asking her about her life is too personal,so he’s not going there.....and as a result makes assumptions that are off course by a million miles.
Finding out she’s developing feelings makes him react in a way that ends everything.
Is there hope for a jaded lawyer?
Can Charlie change his view on love,or is their no hope for a HEA?
Find out in this delectable short story,i know you’re going to love these two wonderful people! -
I loved this couple! Right from the beginning, they clicked perfectly, even though, from all appearances they shouldn't. She is young, vibrant, optimistic, and energetic. He is middle-aged, pessimistic, realist, lawyer. But he sees things in her that he likes, but only in her. She sees things in him that make her tingly all over
They fit, but he doesn't want them to, but he can't help it
Your e-reader will steam up at the shenanigans that these two get up to, and you'll wipe it away so you can see what they are up to next. They are too hot together, surprising even each other. She is everything he has ever wanted in a sub. She didn't know what she was missing, but he gives her more than she could ever imagine in a Dom
They fit, and of course he messes that up. His fix up of his mess is too cute, and she milks it for all it is worth! -
I love this series. The Overseers have done it again and matched a Dom with a Sub who would normally not play together. Aram was Hadrian's (D is for...) divorce lawyer and truly does not believe in love and even feels that Hadrian's new relationship with Cleo will fail again. He is 40+ and the Overseers have paired him with a young 20 something. Charlie is carrying some extra pounds and has some major body issues that cause her to be self conscious. One of the things I really find fascinating about this series is how very few of the members actually know anything about any other member. There are so many misconceptions about other members lifestyles (Mae and Xavier, Beth and James, and now Aram and Charlie) and they cause all kinds of havoc in the Dom/Sub relationship and they are not set straight until the end of the book. I am so looking forward to the rest of the alphabet!

E is for Excellent
I am loving the BDSM Checklist series, each letter is a peak at something new for me.
I could not think of what could be with this letter, for the life of me my mind was blank.
Aram and Charlotte are not two people you would think go together but that is what the checklist game is about after all.
The spunky blonde 20 something and the older divorce lawyer are different not only in their kinks but in the vanilla world too. Their letter teaches Charlotte that she's always stronger in her submission then she thinks and Aram that things are deeper, better even, when you look under the surface.
Once again opposites attract, but Master doesn't always know what's best.
Can't wait for F! -
I really liked this one in the series, which surprised me coming after the worst one in the series and in light of some of the items o the E checklist, not all of which are in the least erotic or sexy.
This time, the story was good, the pace fast, the sex scenes erotic and well written, and the characterisation credible. I also liked that it had some mention of the characters from previous books and how things have moved on for them. Unlike D is for... it didn't feel rushed through or overly short. A good read all round.
This is a series best read in order. I will definitely be getting the next one. -
I am enjoying this series very much. Although "E" doesn't offer the variety of options for BDSM that some of the previous letters have, the main characters seem to have no trouble finding BDSM things to get into and the personal relationship develops quickly. I liked Aram and Charlie and their relationship. My only gripe is that it's too long between books, so now I have to go back and re-read "D is for" to refresh my memory about Hadrian and Chloe. Of course, that will be such a trial ;)

Love the series
So I read the first 2 books in the series when they first came out. I really liked them, but I didn’t want to pay for every single book. Well, I finally did because I can see myself reading them again when I get a certain “itch”. I love this series because even though the club is a bit of a fantasy, the BDSM is awesome. Great scenes and great characters. Read these books. If you like BDSM, then you’ll love them. -
WOW!! I can't say how much I really like this edition of the BDSM Checklist by L Dubois.
This may be the best book in the series - Aram & Charlie are wonderful complex characters. L Dubois's handling of the squeamish-ier items on this the list was beautifully done. E was a short but tough letter checklist letter.
Can't wait for the remaining letters in the checklist! -
I am so in love with this series. And E is another great addition. The premise the owners had of shaking things up is more like unleashing a tornado. And the results are outstanding. The unlikely pairings of D/s have been inspired. I suspect they might not be as random as supposed, and what a clever mastermind behind them. I can't wait for F.

Erotic, this short novella will leave you wanting to explore the erotic side of life with those you trust beyond the tangible.
This series not only captures the essence of BDSM, but also the essence of what it is to be true to yourself and understand your own personal kinks. If you haven't read the rest of this wonderful series you really, really need too. -
Absolutely loved this book!!! Love Lila's writing! Love the story and characters! Love that he is a stern Dom, but she is fun and also has a voice and yet she longs to submit and be Dominated! Loved everything about this book! Please, please, please write more!

May/December
I'm not, usually, a fan, but Ms. Dubois has changed my mind, in this instance. Another well written, sexy, hot, story with relatable characters. -
I absolutely love this series. The books are all different and fresh. I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out.

It is suffice to say that with this book I've found that enemas are my hard limit.
I'm a walking contradiction. Loved the book to bits. Charlie is the Yin to Aram's Yang. But it made me realize that I, in fact, have my boundaries. It's a good thing. If I was into everything, it would be heavily concerning. -
Great!
I have to admit, I couldn't think of many things that started with E. Charlie played her part perfectly. Her doubts about herself helped him see there was more to him than he knew existed. I loved how his friend's ceremony was what brought him to rethink all he had done. -
Have Mercy E
This is fast becoming one of my very favorite series!! I finish one letter(book) and my so anxious to go to the next!!! E was a fascinating read. Lots of non typical scenes! Loved this pairing so much!!!❤❤❤❤ -
Very kinky
I like the way this one goes slightly different from those before it but just as well written and the characters you just want to bang their heads together sometimes but overall great read. -
This is the fifth in what I assume will be twenty-six entries in a series set in Las Palmas Oscuras, one of those fantasy BDSM clubs popular in this genre. (I say "assume" because I'm not entirely sure what kinks begin with "Z," but we'll see.) The series' central conceit offers us a dom and sub who participate in kink scenes that begin with the letter they've been assigned ("A," for example, includes "Anal Play"). From what I can tell, each is a stand-alone featuring a single couple (some long-standing, others not) that is long on erotica and short on story. In fact, I would call these "novellas," rather than "novels" since much of the total page space is taken up with ads for Ms. DuBois' other books.
Because each story features different characters, a different relationship dynamic, and different kinks, some will appeal more to individual readers based on personal preference than others. Because this contains a kink I really dislike (enemas); a dom I couldn't abide (Aram never took Charlie's insecurities seriously or really listened to her); and relationship dynamics I couldn't buy (since BDSM is about trust, I never believed that Charlie could feel safe with someone who cared so little about her emotional well-being as Aram did), this book wasn't for me.
That said, my low rating is also due to how poorly-edited this book is. Usually, I like Ms. DuBois' writing -- it's evocative, grammatically-correct, flows well, proofed -- but not here. There are no transitions between scenes; as a reader, I find it disconcerting when I'm transported from one location to another (often within a paragraph) with no warning.
2 1/2 stars. Like Anna and Mae, Charlie displays a disturbing lack of self-preservation. I really don't find this "sexy;" I find it scary. While I did welcome the diverse characters, the author's understanding of feminism is best-suited to middle-class white women living in first world countries. -
Love BDSM Romance?
Lila Dubois does it best. Loving the entire series and hope she continues the Checklist as she has many series in the works. -
Best Yet
I don't really like older man/ younger woman stories, especially with a fairly sizeable age gap like these two main characters have, but somehow this author makes it work, along with some kink with a major "eww" factor. This was the best "alphabet" book yet. It was sexy and fun and I can't wait for the next in the series.
