EyeLike: Letters: The Alphabet in the Natural World Reviews
-
I absolutely love the photos and graphics in this ABC book. The verses for each letter are horrible. I wish they weren't there! They are totally not needed. Here's a random sample: (they are all this bad.)
Cat sees the cherries and dreams of a cherry ice cream float.
Caterpillar likes his stripes and wonders, "Where'd you get your coat?"
The caterpillar and the cat have matching striped suits.
"I don't mind," says the crab.
"I'd rather eat the fruits."
Jeesh! -
Excellent children's books. I suggest getting your child letters and numbers editions of this series as a part of their young literacy, preschool introduction. It won't help learn the letters but it will bring their attention in, and reiterate their knowledge and understanding in a fun, exciting way. Excellent series of books. I own only the two but would buy more in the Natural world series (eyelike). The math one is particularly great.
