Tristan Channing and Jaxon Bentley run a successful law firm together and the two partners couldn’t be busier right now. When Jaxon suddenly takes a leave of absence, Tristan begrudgingly assumes responsibility of the new associate, the hot new associate, who has curves for days. Needing to keep his distance from her, Tristan sends Kat on needless errands and has her doing work even an intern wouldn’t touch, like picking up his kids. But his plan backfires when he sees his children grow attached to Kat and sees her getting comfortable in his home. It triggers something deep within him, and it feels right to have her there. Will Tristan be able to keep his work and personal lives separate, or will he find that his heart holds the final verdict?

4 stars!
Review at Of Pens and Pages.
Breaching the Contract is a short but sweet love story that was a great start to a new series. It was a fun, enjoyable, quick read with little drama, two adorable kids, a smart, determined and hardworking female lead and a confident and sexy single dad rocking it in a suit.
Fresh from graduating top of her class in law school, Katerina Dawson is ready to conquer the world. She now works in a top law firm as an associate for one of the firm’s partners, Jaxon Bentley, and she is blossoming under his guidance. No coffee runs or unrelated tasks for her here and she loves it. She’s actually doing something and learning each day thanks to Jaxon.
But when Jaxon goes on an emergency leave, Katerina is left to fend for herself from Jaxon’s partner, Tristan Channing, a man she felt a brief connection with when they bumped into each other when they were still completely ignorant of their work status.
Tristan feels a strong pull towards Katerina, and he’s doing his best to keep his distance, even if it means making Katerina go on coffee runs for him and babysit his children. It all backfires when he sees the growing bond between the irresistible associate and his children, and he feels the attraction even more. And the attraction isn’t as one-sided as it seems.
There’s just something incredibly hot about men and women in suits. Smart, powerful, and strong-willed. That’s exactly who Katerina and Tristan are. Tristan started off looking like an a*hole, treating Katerina like an intern instead of an associate. But then we get to see him in a different light as the story goes on, and what a man. A single dad who loves his kids, is hardworking, thoughtful, and sexy as hell. I’m in love.
Katerina was a strong heroine who is kind and patient. Honestly, if I were in her position and Tristan started making me run errands the way he did, I would’ve lost my temper. Despite not being exposed to children, her empathy and kindness made it easy for her to
It was a short story, but I think it was just the right length for their romance. It wasn’t stretched, and it still gave enough intrigue for Tristan’s partner, Jaxon. I look forward to reading his story, which I’ve heard is a full-length novel. Woohoo!
If you’re a fan of quick romances set in the courtroom with witty banter, sizzling chemistry, single dads and strong heroines, you’ll enjoy Breaching the Contract.

This is the eleventh book I've read by this author so obviously I like her books and her style.
This is different, this is a cute sweet little romance, not what I was expecting but I'm all about the romance and the HEA so I didn't have a problem with that but...
My problem is, as far as I can see the blurb is the book, there's just more of it.
This is what I personally think of as the perfect 3* read.
A quick easy read with no real conflict or drama, nice easy characters, cute kids and you know exactly where it's going when it starts.
There's not much else to say since it's all in the blurb but I liked the characters and I enjoyed this book I just expected a little more.

Chantal Fernando is a favorite author of mine so I was really excited to get my hands on her newest book. Breaching The Contract was one of her sweeter books and I really liked that romance she portrayed in it. Kat and Tristan had the sparks flying right out of my Kindle and I loved the connection they had. What I really liked about this book though was the simplicity of it. There was no high drama or angsty moments, just pure romance and chemistry between two characters. Ms. Fernando proved with this book that you don't need high dramatics and shockers to keep a readers interest because this book had me just as captivated as her MC books keep me.
You would think I get tired of hearing about attorney's all day long but this book went and proved that wrong. But I'm a little sad all the attorney's in my office are old, it's not fair guys! Ms. Fernando also left me very curious about side characters so I can't wait to see what else comes from this series.

Kat’s dream job came through when she’s hired as an associate in a prestigious law firm, but when her primary boss takes a leave, Tristan takes his place. He’s sexy for sure, and there’s immediate attraction between them, but he comes off as a rude jerk their first meeting. Also, Tristan has no problem sending Kat for personal errands, including picking up his children from school. Kat doesn’t relish those chores, but knowing she’s the newbie she doesn’t balk. Surprisingly Kat ends up forming a fast bond with Tristan’s kids, and in turn, Tristan. As they work together the attraction they’ve felt from the beginning becomes irresistible. Will their professional lives suffer if they give in?
At only 130 pages, Breaching the Contract was a fast, sexy little story you could easily read through in one sitting. Yes, things happen pretty quickly, but sometimes I like a quick fix of romance without long, drawn out drama, and this is exactly what I got with Breaching the Contract.
I’m looking forward to Jaxon’s story next in Seducing the Defendant.

A sweet little quickie, perfect for a mental getaway!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Do you need a break from your stressful day? Got an hour or two for a refreshing little number? This story is just what you need for a quick pick me up. Interesting characters with a decent amount of development and a hot little story, perfect for some relaxation.
I've read several of Chantal's books before and always enjoy her writing. Great male leads that are sexy and sweet and this one is no different. Plus, she introduces some great characters that hopefully will show up in future books.
A fun, sexy little read that I think you'll enjoy. I sure did!
This was a great mid to low angst novella. Very fast pace featuring an office romance that starts out as enemies to lovers.
Kat is fresh out of law school and was hired by Tristan's partner for their firm. Tristan is a single dad with kids and treats Kat like personal assistant instead of an associate. His admiration for her grows and things change quickly between them.
This is a very safe read with no cheating between MC's or violence in the story. I loved the storyline but did feel it ended abruptly. I'm looking forward to more in the series. We got to see enough of Jaxon and Hunter to be intrigued for their own books.
First of all it was way too short.
And Second there wasn't enough couple time. It was like wham bang thank you ma'am. 😂
One minute they were sleeping together, then there's some pushing away, then the end.
Cute kids, I liked the heroine's relationship with them.
Hero was rude with her when he first met her.
Do I believe they will make it? I honestly don't know.
I want to read Jaxon's book. He was a good character in here.
4 Easy Read Stars
Breaching the Contract is a standalone and is part of the Conflict of Interest Series by Chantal Fernando. I’ve only read Chantal’s MC and heavier books, so I was curious to see how her lighter works would be.
I woke up at 3AM and I couldn’t sleep and decided to give this book a go. To my surprise, it hit all the right notes. I was engaged, it was light, there was a single dad (and everyone knows I love a good single parent book) and it was really easy to read. I read it in two hours in the dead of the night and I’m so glad I picked up this book.
I love a good office romance read and this one is a good enemy to lovers one. Kate works for a law firm. Tristan is one of the managing partners of the firm. I’m a fan of lawyer books and I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t a lot of lawyer speak. I get it, it’s kind of hard to navigate through that world, but I was looking for hardcore action. However, the tension between Kate and Tristan was really good.
I liked that Kate works hard and wants to make something of herself and I like Tristan because he was a hard boss that made Kate do simple tasks like get his coffee. I’m not too sure how accurate the book is, it’s hard to believe that a girl would be working on cases with a partner right out of law school and it’s hard to believe the firm only has like 4 employees, I really do hope the future books will add more associates and there’s a little more world building.
The book is super short and sweet and I couldn’t ask for anything more. I love simple reads that hit all the right spots. I can understand how there wasn’t much lawyer talk and super deep character development. I felt like you got just enough of the characters to be sucked into the story, but not bored with anything too fluffy.
I love the little kids and I’m happy they were good kids. I’m never a fan of the bratty kids. I’m not too sure how accurate that Tristan would be 30-ish with his kids. The age was never mentioned, but it would mean he would have to have them around law school. I think it’s because my brother in law is a lawyer and all the partners at his firm are old farts.
Overall, I’m all for the light-hearted books (usually it’s not my cuppa) but this one was pretty good.
Short novel but packed with good office romance!
Katerina Dawson better known as Kat is a recently graduated law student. She has been hired by Jaxon Bently to work for him. Jason is a great boss and figure but when he has to leave the office for an unknown period of time, Kat will have to work under Jaxon's partner, Tristan Channing. Kat can admit to herself that he's trouble for her. She's attracted to her new boss and when she finds herself playing nanny with his kids, that she also like his two children.
Tristan Channing is a widower trying to balance his job and his children. He has no time for playing and he's good at his job. When a couple of nannies failed him, he asks his new employee for help. As hard as he tries to distance himself from her, the more time they spend together the more he wants her in his and his kids' life.
Breaching the contract can be read in one sitting. It's fast and sweet. Both main characters were likable and relatable. I felt bad for Tristan's situation but I didn't like him abusing his power over Kat at the beginning. I liked him much more when he started treating her as a colleague although I understood the necessity to bring his kids into the story and make Kat feel for them.
The secondary characters were good too and I'm hoping they get their own stories.
5/5 Stars!!!
This was my first book by Chantal Fernando and it was amazing. I will for sure be reading more of her books in the near future.
I really enjoyed this office romance it was short and sweet. Katerina and Tristan were great for each other and their chemistry was undeniable. Tristan is a widower and a single father to two adorable kids. I liked how Katerina was so caring and affection towards Tristan's kids. This book was heartwarming. In the end, Katerina and Tristan got their HEA. I cannot wait for the next book of the "Conflict of Intrest" series.
short lawyer workplace romance..I'm here for it..
3 1/2 stars, Kat has worked hard to get to were she is and now she was just hired at the law firm of her dreams. her boss is amazing and trusts her with cases and things that should take years. Her co-workers are great, and Kat couldn't be happier. While on break one day Kat see's a man who dropped his wallet. Stopping him to give him his wallet should be easy but the handsome man can't seem to just be gracious and say thank you.
While at work a few days later Kat can't believe her eyes when she finally meets the other partner of the law firm and it's none other than the man she met on the street. Now Kat purposely avoids Tristan. Sure he's nicer than when they first met but he's also someone she can't get out of her mind. The more time they spend together the harder it is for Kat to deny her feelings till neither Kat or Tristan want to, though things seem to be going better than they could have ever dreamed a devastating secret is revealed turing everyones world around and maybe changing everything.
I like this one, it's a fast fun read that was written really well. I flew through this one. I have always loved Chantal Fernando's writing style and this one wasn't any different. I got right into the grove with this book from page one. I also really like the story of this book and Tristan was a good guy, he seems like a jerk(and was at the beginning) but he really isn't. Kat is hard working(maybe more than anyone else at the law firm) and she is the definition of a go getter.
I will say I wish Tristan had pursued Kat more, yes he wants her and yes We know he has wanted her but when it comes down to it Kat is the one who works for it and I feel like she was the glue that held their relationship together and I wish that hadn't been the case. I also wish we had gotten less of the hero, Triton's former wife. this is hard for me because I need solid undeniable truth that the heroine is number one and will always be number one when it comes to any other woman, and yes I know it can not be that cut in dry in real life with a case like this but in book world I need it to be. Was it that cut and dry mmm for me I needed more and having said that I am really really picky with that so this may not even be an issue with others.
I also wish going into this I had known this was a short story, I think it would have helped my mindset because all I kept thinking was why is this book moving so fast and I need more Tristan and Kat. Don't get me wrong this is a romance but I wish more time was spent with them together and falling in love. Had I paid attention(and yes I admit this is completely on me) to this book more closely I would have seen this was a short book and it would have made more sense. But Really I wish a few more pages had been added to this book so we could have had a less sped up romance.
I did really like this book like I said I blew through it and really got transported into this world right away. It was a fun fast steamy read. I do wish there was an epilogue though. For two reasons; 1 for the simple fact that I am a little bit(yeah ok a lot) of an epilogue nut. I can never get enough of epilogues I love them and I always will. And 2 in any case I want an epilogue but especially in short books. I think an epilogue give us that solid final happy ending in a book that because it's shorter we don't get enough time with the hero and heroine. But all in all I liked this one.
*Thank you NetGallery and Gallery, Threshold, Pocket Books for this ARC. -
I grabbed this when I saw it was an affair with the asshole boss story, but this was a bit lacklustre for me. Sadly I've read many better examples of this storyline. It's also very short and feels rushed.
Complete story. -
As a reader I'm always excited to start a new series, so when I'm given an ARC for an author that I'm familiar with its even better. Unfortunately Breaching the Contract didn't work for me at all. I found it very boring and I didn't feel any connection between Tristan and Kat. So with nothing happening in the entire book I was annoyed with the conflict that was thrown in at the end. I found it unnecessary and I really dislike when a memory of a dead lover is tarnished.
-
Unfortunately, I didn't love this book. The premise was promising but it all felt so rushed, so predictable and the dialogue felt unnatural at times. There was little to no drama to keep me invested in this story and what little drama there was felt contrived and out of left field, thrown in just for the sake of it. My biggest issue is that there's way too much detail in the blurb. There's really not much to this story besides what one can already glean from the synopsis. I can see why readers might enjoy it, it's a quick little romance you can eat for lunch. But for a reader like myself who needs some degree of conflict or angst, more depth and a bit more character development, this one just wasn't for me.
"3,5 Stars"
This was a lovely book!
BTW I really like the name Tristan!!!
But back to the book! I really liked this one! The character were likable and funny! Tristan and Kat were nice and I loved the kids! Lauren and Logan were really cute! I loved how they bond with Kat!
It was a short nice story! There were some issues but that's ok! It's not like it was an earth shattering book to begin with! Just a good and easy reading!
Jaxon is coming next!!! -
I've not read a book like this in a while. I seem to be reading quite a few dark reads lately and I found this to be a refreshing change for me.
If you enjoy sweet romances then this is the book for you. An office romance with a single dad. Perfect.
I'm really looking forward to reading more in the Conflict of Interest series. -
3.5 Stars!!
I’ll start this review by saying this; I liked this book, just didn’t quite loved it. Because baby, we can't love them all. Right?
Breaching the Contract premise sounded amaze-tits. With all the boss-office romance vibes going on there, I was expecting to feel a lot of tension. But while I enjoyed it, the story ended up being one of those books where not a lot is happening and the stuff that is happening is just ok. Cute, but ok.
Even though the story was short, it was well-written and the characters were all likable. I just wish I had gotten more of Kat and Tristan's story, and for the author to forget about that last twist in the story.
I think Conflict of Interest is a series with a lot of potential, so I will be definitely reading more from Ms. Fernando in the future.
If you're in the mood for a short but sweet fast paced office romance, give this book a chance.
A sweet fast paced office romance that hit all the spots!!! In Breaching The Contract, Chantal Fernando introduces readers to Katerina Dawson,a recent law school graduate who lands her first major job in a well established law firm. Katerina is so excited to start her new job under the supervision of Jaxon Bentley, one of the best criminal lawyers. With Jaxon taking her under his wing, she knows that she can quickly rise to the top. But when Jaxon has a family emergency to attend to, Jaxon assigns Katerina to Tristan Channing in the meantime.
Tristan is Jaxon’s other law partner. Unlike Jaxon, Tristan doesn’t give Katerina cases but instead makes her fetch his coffee and babysit his kids. Katerina soon finds herself picking up his kids after school and watching them. Well it didn’t take long for his kids to fall for Kat instantly. While the kids begin to love Kat, it didn’t take long for Tristan to see Kat in a whole new light. What happens when Tristan crosses the line of boss and employee?
Breaching the Contract is indeed a very fast paced read. A big part of me wished this book was a bit longer so the relationship of Tristan and Kat could be well established. As for the ending, the unexpected surprise was not needed in my opinion since a big chunk of the book was focusing on their relationship. But other than that, Chantal does gives her readers a taste of what looks like to be a sexy and fun series. Can’t wait to read Jaxon’s story.
This was a quick, fast paced read with a fun story, likable characters, a lot of sweet and a nice amount of sexy. Awesome way to kick of a new series. I totally enjoyed it!
There was a good introduction so you get a great feel for the characters right away and then we're off. I loved Tristan, he’s kind of gruff on the outside but so sweet when you get to know him. I really liked Kat, she was determined and such a hard worker. I like how they meet, the complication of working together they face, and the growing heat and attraction they have. It was really entertaining and I liked how it developed. I really enjoyed Tristan's kids as well and the sweet way they played into everything.
The writing is really good. It’s not super deep but there’s enough substance to get you really invested and rooting for Tristan and Kat. The story is told from Kat’s POV and I liked her voice. I still felt like I knew Tristan however, what he was thinking and how he was feeling with the way the author described him, which was awesome. There was also some drama I didn't see coming that added a nice amount of tension which I enjoyed. Great ending and really good epilogue.
It's definitely a light read with an entertaining vibe and I totally enjoyed it. I liked all the characters that were introduced, loved the romance happening between Tristan and Kat, and am looking forward to more in this series. It might have been short but it was solid and gave me just what I needed... a sweet romance that was sexy and fun!
Whiny, spineless 'heroine' who worked her butt off to become a lawyer but then allowed herself to be treated like a nanny/secretary because of the epic douchebag of a 'hero'
When Galley reached out to me about possibly reviewing this book I jumped on the chance. (Thanks for the ARC! y'all over at Galley and Pocket Star rock!)
I'm always up for a good lawyer romance. (Blame Emma Chase. Although I think she's ruined me for all lawyer books to come haha)
And this one sounded so so good. And was such a just fun quick read too.
The book is only a little over 100 pages. But honestly, I would have been more than happy to read a couple hundred more haha.
And as short of a book as this one was, Chantal did such an amazing job creating her characters and giving them a full, cohesive, and entertaining story.
I loved Kat and Tristian (Although I had to go back and reread Tristians description because I totally had the worst image of some dude like mid 40s and a little rumpled, mayne balding, and pudgy. (even though that's not him at all haha. this is what I get for not sleeping in over 24 hours.)
And anyways. I knew the image in my head was so wrong. And I knew it right away. But my brain just wasn't processing it. So I had to force myself to picture him as the hot 30 something lawyer. which made for way steamer scenes than the other guy I had pictured in my twisted head hehe.
But it's not because Chantal doesn't do a great job with character description. She actually gives so many details that once I forced my brain to focus, I had a total amazing image of what this guy would look like haha.
And he was just an interesting character to read in general. he had so many sides to him. And made for a really interesting complex character.
And a totally lovable one at that (even though I'm dying to see Jaxon's story now though.... like BAD! haha) I just loved how we got to see Tristan with his kids. so sweet and adorable. And then this moody fierce lawyer that totally keeps butt. But yet the also smirky sarcastic in office lawyer (does that make sense? lol)
And don't even get me started on Kat. (yes I know. I'm actually saying nice things aboujt a female character for once. Well guess what? I FLOVED her)
She was witty and smart. And I loved how head strong and driven she was.
She knew what she wanted and worked her booty off to get it.
Plus she just made me giggle throughout the story. She has such a fun loving personality when she's not in work mode. And I loved the chemistry she had building with Tristan.
this book was just such a great read. And I enjoyed every page of it.
Plus I'm so excited to see how our next 2 lawyers are going to turn out (or at least the 2 I'm hoping the next books are abouut haha)
I give BREACHING THE CONTRACT
*****5 STARS***** -
Kat is a a newbie straight out of college and entering the work force! Delighted to have landed on her feet at a prestigious law firm and working with the senior partner Logan.
Things are going well up until Logan has to leave for an emergency and Kat is left to work with Tristan, the meaner but hotter senior partner! At first Logan acts as an aloof know it all. Getting Kat to go out on errands and doing tasks that a PA should be doing.
When Tristan asks Kat to pick up his kids from school she is beyond annoyed. But the kids so adorable and funny you can't help but love them!
As we get to know more about Tristan and the children we fall deeper and deeper. There is a lot of sexual tension and feelings are developed.
Towards the end we got some more suspense and drama. I would have loved to see how that played out in more detail.
Kat was really funny and loveable much like all of Chantal's heroines. I really loved her personality! Tristan was very serious and stand off-ish in the beginning but while we got to know him better we saw his kind heart. He was really attentive and I loved that about him.
This was a different one for Chantal. More of a slow burn romance and a really quick read. I enjoyed it a lot but would have liked it to be longer. I understand this is the first book in a series of short romances. So I am really excited to read about the others.
So happy I was fortunate enough to be invited to read an Advanced Copy of this book from the publisher. Thank You. -
Cheesy story that is short and sweet.
I really did t feel that the two main characters had that outstanding attraction that they seemed to feel. They just didn't do it for me. I would have liked to have Tristen's POV. the story just glossed over his troubles. We didn't get to see how he delt with the issues or how his kids did. Tristen was very one dimensional. All juicy things that needed explanation got left out and I think if they were added it would have been a better story.
Received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley. -
Super cute story about a lawyer who ends up with her boss. He's kind of a big ass hole at first but he grows softer and softer. Loved it.
-
Basically why I dislike novellas. :(
Sadly, Breaching the Contract did not work for me. Going into the book, I was completely unaware that it would be on the shorter, novella side. Had I known, I most likely would not have picked it up. I was intrigued by the premise of lawyers falling in love (because I adore Emma Chase's Legal Briefs series!), but I don't think it was executed well here. For one, the short length of the book means the characters were severely underdeveloped. You only get to know them surface level. And I really do mean surface level. Secondly, everything feels rushed, and you never get a chance to fully appreciate the connection between the love interests. I'll say that there were hints of chemistry here and there, that could have been fiery had they been explored better. But for the most part it just felt like it went from dislike/annoyance to sexy times to love in like 5 minutes. I also felt like 99% of the book was telling instead of showing. You are told this and that about the characters, the court-scenes, but never really shown anything. All in all, this was a disappointment for me and I most likely won't be continuing on with the series. -
3.5 Stars
I love story good quick office romance and “Breaching the Contract” hit some pretty good spots for me. It was insightful, and the flow of it was executed perfectly. Though it’s a short read, I think plenty of readers are still going to enjoy this one.
Fresh out of Law School and now working her dream job at one of the top law firms in the city, Kat is enjoying the time of her life. Determined to make her mark in the firm, Kat knows that being a hard worker is the only way she’s going to be taken seriously and get on the best cases. With her drive in tact, she conquers her first day on the job beautifully but when she goes out for a much needed break and walks straight into a handsome stranger, her day as she knows it, is about to go downhill. For a little while of course.
Tristan is having a heck of a week. Having his nanny abruptly quits and dealing with case loads, is enough to have anyone be in a not so good mood. So when a woman gives him back a much valuable item that he didn’t know was lost, his initial reaction was not a pleasant one. But Tristan knows that he shouldn’t take out his frustrations on a complete stranger and he tries to make it up to her. Only having to walk into his office to meet the new hire and he’s now face to face with that very same stranger. Can you say awkward?
I liked that this was a quick read and I loved the fact that everything was wrapped up so nicely. My only issue was that I felt that a certain twist wasn’t necessary at all and that kind of dampened my mood on the story. Aside from that, I enjoyed this one and if you’re in the mood for a quick slow burn read, then this one is for you.
-
Short and sweet and low on angst, Breaching the Contract is a great start to the new Conflict of Interest series. I've never read Chantal Fernando before, but I love office romances (not to mention single dads!), so I feel like this was a fantastic place to start.
Katerina is on top of the world, having graduated from law school and winning a coveted internship with a top law firm. Under attorney Jaxon Bentley's direction, she's working cases instead of making coffee and doing the filing. When Jaxon has to take a leave of absence, Kat is forced to pick up the slack, which includes dealing with the grumpy partner, Tristan Channing.
Tristan is a hard-nosed attorney who doesn't connect with many people on a personal level. After bumping into Kat at a coffee shop, he feels an attraction—but that's before he discovers they work together. While it isn't forbidden, relationships at the office are highly discouraged. A hate-ish-to-love- relationship ensues with a few hiccups along the way.
I found Kat to be a refreshing heroine. She's strong, independent, hardworking, and caring, but she's also determined to succeed on her terms. She gives as good as she gets when it comes to Tristan's attitude, which provides some great banter.
Tristan turns out to be just as hardworking, loyal, and caring, and his relationship with his kids is commendable. Seeing them fall in love with Kat right along with their dad gave me all the feels. Tristan hasn't had the easiest life in the past several years, so it was nice to see him happy and enjoying life with Kat.
As I said, this is a great start to the series. At 130 pages, Breaching the Contract seemed just right—not too short and not too long, all while introducing the characters for the follow-up books. Fans of light, quick, and just the right amount of steamy will enjoy this one for sure!
It's no hidden mystery that Chantal Fernando is one of my favorite authors. So when a Publisher contacted me asking if I would like to read her newest novel there was no hesitation what so ever!
Being completely honest, I love office romances and the hilarious banter that they usually bring to the table, however, when it comes to attorneys, I'm usually turned off and find it hard to sink into the plot.
Breaching The Contract changed my views on this trope. I was invested in this novel and completely consumed by Kat and Tristan's lives! I loved the chemistry these two characters had and the slow build of their romance.
Kat is a 'new to the scene' attorney. After graduating at the top of her class and getting a job at a prestigious law firm, she is happy to find this is the perfect job for her. She's working on real life cases and getting praised for her work ethic. That is until her boss Jaxson has to take time off for a family emergency leaving Tristan in charge of his cases.
Kat is about to learn that working for Tristan is way different from working for Jaxson. Especially when his first request is to bring him his coffee and pick his kids up from school.
Yes ladies, that is right Breaching The Contract should be labeled with a HOT SINGLE DAD WARNING!
I loved Tristan's kids! Laura and Logan added a new aspect to this novel. It not only has crazy sexual tension but now an endearing familial feel. It was fun to see Kat interact with Tristan's kids, given the fact that she really has never been around children before and to see Laura and Logan connect with Kat pulled at the heartstrings!
ALL The FEELS!!
Overall, I really loved this novel. It was everything I have come to expect from a novel written by Chantal Fernando. The only issue I could find was the fact that I wish it was longer and the ending seemed a bit rushed. I need more of Tristan, Kat, Logan, and Laura in my life!
PEACE LOVE and HAPPY READING,
