« Par mille mimolettes, il m'est arrivé des aventures incroyables avant de partir en vacances ! J'ai sauvé ma tante Toupie d'un terrible incendie, mon bureau a été inondé, le Roi des Chips au Fromage a menacé de m'arracher les moustaches... et j'ai fait une indigestion de moules ! »

I absolutely devoured these books as a kid and since I'm going through a rough time right now, I decided to read one for comfort and ended up reading 4 haha. Don't judge me, I need book "comfort food". It wasn't even as bad as I thought it was going to be, I was obsessed with them in elementary school but i figured they wouldn't really stand the test of time. They held up pretty well though and did their job of comforting me, even if it was only temporary ;)

I liked this book very much😃👍. It was all about Geronimo going to vacation. He missed all of his 3 vacations. At last He went with to his last vacation with pinky pick.

The Stilton book series have been my kids favorite for a long time. They have read the whole series and they keep reading it multiple times and enjoy it like they are reading it for the first time ever.

The author of this series is Elisabetta Dami who writes under the pseudonym G Stilton. The whole series is set in a fictional version of the universe dominated by rats and mice with human tendency and nature. The whole series revolves around the titular character Geronimo Stilton. He is a best selling author and works as an editor and publisher of the family owner news paper The Rodent's Gazette. He is also a pretty clumsy mouse. His adventures and mishaps (with a happy ending) forms the crux of all the series. The illustrations for this book goes so well with the story and it actually takes you back to your childhood. All these graphic books run around 110-120 pages long. I would highly recommend reading this as it transports you back to a simpler life in an instant.

This book deals with Geronimo who is tired of a hot and humid summer and a workaholic life. He is yearning for a vacation. He wants to go to an exotic place where he can relax and read. Was he able to go on a vacation and did it live upto his expectation? Read this book on to get more juicy details on Geronimo's fabumouse vacation

Geronimo Stilton is a very busy mouse and he has so much to do. he can rarely stay at home and have a nice hot cup of whatever he drinks. that the same fo our parents. He does have a vacation but as soon as he comes home its the best vacation ever. he had a full me time and self-care sessions. My favourite character is pinky pick because she was so funny, annoying and naughty and kinda just ruined geronimo's vacation. My favourite part of their book was when pinky pick was being super annoying because it was so funny and it reminded me of how I irritate my sister, I kinda feel bad for her but I think its traditional and very important for the younger sibling to irritate the younger one. the only difference between me and pinky pick is that she isn't geronimo's sibling. I enjoyed this book like I said it kinda reminded me of how I irritate my sister and it was really funny

Fabumouse Vacation for Geronimo is the ninth book in the Geronimo Stilton series. The main characters in this book are Geronimo and Pinky Pick. Pinky is Geronimo's assistant but she annoys him because she keeps singing the same song over and over.

Geronimo works in New Mouse City and it is really hot there, so he decides to go on a vacation . However he ends up missing his plane four times. There were too many tasks getting in his way at his job at The Rodent's Gazette. On the 5th try he goes to the Ratty Hotel. At the hotel he sees Pinky there, which annoyed him a lot . Geronimo went on a vacation to get away from work. When he sees Pinky he's worried his vacation is going to be ruined.

I didn't like this book as much as the Geronimo Stilton books where Geronimo goes on adventures with Bruce Hyena. Bruce Hyena is funny and I like reading about his friendship with Geronimo. This book didn't have a lot of supporting characters I enjoyed reading about. The next time I get a Geronimo Stilton book I'm going to find one that has more interesting supporting characters in it.

    Hirlarious!
It may appear like a great vacation, but with Geronimo missing all of his flights and then ending up at that dreadful vacation just imagining where was may me feel so sorry for Geronimo. The author that wrote this book used great describing words and I could picture Geronimo's great vacation. So much for a relaxing vacation for Geratimo!!

you know, there's a funny story to this one. for Christmas of 2006, my grandma got me 5 Geronimo Stilton books, and this was one of them. it was my fave out of those five, and i read it several times. about a week later, it disappeared, and i haven't seen it since....

Am I too old to be reading the Geronimo Stilton series? You bet. Will I keep reading it out of the desire to fulfil my childhood nostalgia? You bet.

I'm sure that we can all agree that everyone needs a good old vacation every once in a while, especially a hardworking mouse like Geronimo. But, to his great despair, Geronimo ends up missing out on every wonderful vacation that the vacation agency offers him, due to a variety of emergencies. As a last resort, the vacation agency sends him to the worst rated camp in their catalogue.

Geronimo's experience at the camp reminded me of some of my own adventures at summer camp as a child. I remembered hating every single summer camp that I was sent to by my parents at the beginning, yet returning with at least one positive memory. It all depends on attitude. All you have to do is keep an open mind, and try.

This book also includes a wide variety of camp games for children to play on their own. The creativity of Geronimo Stilton books will never cease to amaze me. I mean, what other series goes as far as the Geronimo Stilton series in inventing new words, such as pawkerchiefs, for the sake of worldbuilding? And mouse hole as well!

L’unica cosa che ricordo di questo libro è che il mio cane lo mangio… letteralmente.

the random arts and crafts instructions threw me off

This was a very good children's book! All of the Geronimo books are great for children! Though the new ones are becoming a little cheesy and/or repetitive. I also like how there are games in the back!

  • Archita

I read all the Gerinimo Stilton books when I was in second to third grade.

  • Eli

i liked the things to do on vacation in the back of the book.

  • Lucia

what can you say?if you like games, this one has over 30 of them!

A repetitive and predictable plot, typical of Geronimo Stilton books. Geronimo schedules a vacation, a problem arises, he reschedules for a new vacation. It happens over and over until his initial plans to visit the sea, climb in mountains, visit Egypt, turn into a cruddy stay at a cheap hotel.

As an adult, I cringe that he’s staying with a bunch of teenage girls, one who is his employee, but kids won’t think twice about this detail.

There are a list of Pinky Pick’s games in the back of the book. I thought these were a fun addition but other reviewers seem annoyed that these take up a large portion of the book.

I wouldn’t call this a content rich book but I’d still give it to my second graders for a leisure read.

Geronimo is just an overworked mouse who wants to go on vacation but the newspaper he runs keeps breaking down and delaying his much needed rest time. I’m glad he does something he loves but nothing could push my pto off lol. I enjoyed this book more than I might have when I was a kid because i can relate to those couple of days before you’re off being super hectic for no reason. This book was the perfect length and super fun to re-read. I do miss pictures in my chapter books so I’m glad these still exist and I got my hands on a few hard copies. 10/10 No notes.

Ho ascoltato l'audio libro.

The time for a well earned vacation has come, but poor Geronimo cannot seem to catch a break as everything that can goes wrong does, leaving him in the dingiest hotel ever! Dami delivers a hilarious and hearty adventure with this entertaining entry to the beloved "Geronimo Stilton" series. Settle in and chuckle all the way to the hotel room!
