John Kent's Venice Reviews
-
The fact that I am reading this two years (and a half) after having been to Venice might not have been the best strategic choice. But, in my defense, I wanted to remember what it was like to travel again, carefree and careless.
This is the perfect book for that : the illustrations are gorgeous and the explanations are crystal clear. -
These are wonderful little gems - the cities come alive with wit and insight. Tiny, intimate little volumes that can slip into a backpack or under the covers with a flashlight for late night dream-making. I have yet to see Venice, but John Kent whets my appetite. These are a must for dream travelers.
