As the book says, this is a must for any of Poe’s fans. I agree, you must be familiar with Poe’s work to really "get" this book.
I loved it but this is a really a historical fiction novel rather than something that belongs in the horror section. I am surprised more people are not writing about him, rather than the hundreds that come out about Cleopatra or Henry the 8th.
And I think I achieved 5 Goth points by reading to.:)
