Quilt the Town Christmas (East Perry County, #3) Reviews

The third book in the series. Sometimes I want to jump into the story and hollar, but generally it's a fun series, we real life challenges.

    Quilt the Town Christmas

Kate Meyer has definitely settled in Borna, Missouri and is adjusting to all the challenges of being an innkeeper. Ann Hazelwood is a wonderful writer. This is the third book of her East Perry County series. You really get the chance of knowing all of her characters. The last chapter left a bit of a cliff-hanger, because it left readers speculating about what would happen next.

I am giving this book 5 stars even though the editing is something to be desired. It still was a relaxing, fun, and sometimes suspenseful read that made me want to come back for more. Ready to start book 4.

I enjoyed this book in her series...there are some new characters that are being developed. A word of caution - make sure that book 4 is handy when you finish this one!

It is hard to say that I really like this series even with all it’s mistakes and lack of editing. Kate Meyr and friends have taken me in along with the county I am so familiar with.

As the series progresses, another curious mystery is solved, friendships deepen and relatives come to stay at the historical guest house. Relationships and characters continue to develop.

Book Three in the East Perry County Series. Kate has settled into her life as an innkeeper in the small town of Borna. The fall/winter holidays keep her busy with many activities. Troubling events keep occurring on her property. It appears that both John and Clark are interested in pursuing a relationship with her. As a reader, I love the interaction between the characters in a small town, but I want more than a description of their daily lives. Too predictable!

The plot and characters are great. I love quilts. However, as a retired English teacher, I cringed at all the grammar/usage errors. This book needed a qualified editor.
