Christmas Hope & Redemption – Can the Lord find love for three lonely couples and one baby lost in a storm?

Three western romances in one interlinked story. When Grace and Hopes pa dies he asks them to write to two men he has picked out of the paper, and that they must promise to marry them soon.
So the sisters part and become mail order brides. Grace ends up on a ranch with Dempsey, a handsome man but somehow there is a wall between them. Maybe it is her grief but she does not know. One night they hear a cry in the storm and find Rose and baby Violet almost frozen in the rain.
Rose is a young widow with a troubled past. She was on her way to an orphanage when she took the wrong road. Believing that everyone has abandoned her even God she was ready to give in. Maybe God had plans for her all along.
Grant Hawkins works on the ranch and he is taken by baby rose and her ma, but can he break down the barriers of Rose’s past or will it destroy them both?
Hope had been married to a miner just like her pa, and just like him he is dying. He makes her promise that she will live life to the full and find love.
After his death Hope goes to her sisters house and falls in love with Dempsey’s cousin, only his past is making things difficult. When he lies to her she runs out into a storm and becomes lost.
Will he find her in time?
Can she forgive him?
With Christmas fast approaching is there hope for these three couples. Will they find the faith they need to reclaim their happiness?

This is a sweet and clean western romance and is suitable for all ages.

Christmas Hope and Redemption Reviews

While I enjoyed the story and like the characters, there was quite a bit of repetition. For example they constantly call everyone they know honey. It became a bit annoying by the end and pulled me out of the story. Nonetheless, I did enjoy this book and do recommend it iif you enjoy sweet and clean western romances. Happy reading!

Time has run out for the twenty-seven-year-old Valentine sisters, Grace and Hope. They had always dreamed of being swept off their feet and falling madly in love with the perfect partner. The father, Jacob respected their romantically idyllic dreams and didn’t pressure them into matrimony. Eventually, the inert danger of his profession as a miner catch up with him and, dying of lung disease, demands a deathbed promise to marry the two men he had selected from a matrimonial advertisement in the Montana County Newspaper. A mere couple of weeks after his death, Grace, and Hope travel into the unknown to wed strangers and enter a life they had no control over.
Grace travels to Ragged Plains, Montana to meet and marry a local rancher, Dempsey Fenner and her twin sister, Hope is just a few miles away married to a miner. Neither one of the Valentine twins marries the elusive love of their life, but makes do with what life has provided them with.

This is a sweet, clean story about the lives of three women on the western prairies. The action is kept at a relatively low key and much of the interaction verges on the parochial and mundane. I must admit that I prefer a little more punch in my punch and a little hedonistic action would have raised the entertainment bar considerably. It is, however, what it is and if you are looking for a historical romance, seen through a carnal and sensual filter, then this might be a book you could enjoy.

    Three wonderful stories in one

Wow! Did I love this book! Grace, Hope and Rose and the men they married made for a fantastic read.

Rose…that poor tortured soul was so broken. Grant was absolutely perfect for her. I just loved him and his tender love for Rose and little Violet. Especially how he was able to help Rose find the peace and joy she so desperately needed. I’d say Grant was my favorite of all the characters.

Hope was a bit of firecracker and didn’t always think before she spoke, and Miller had lived on his own for too long and didn’t think about how his actions affected his wife…but thankfully Hope and Miller were able to work out their problems.

Grace, who started out so timid at first became almost like the matriarch of the group. The other thing was her overuse of the word “honey”…. But Dempsey was an awesome husband for her. Of course, at first, the two of them were both too timid and shy to even talk to each other until a few months after they married!

Make sure you read this! You won’t regret it ❤️

    Wonderful story

Wonderful story with lots of twists and turns. A story that once again teaches us to trust in God during the hard times as well as the good times. To trust when you feel like nothing will ever get better. A great story of the love God has for us everyday. I would recommend this for anyone.

I thoroughly enjoyed this longer story of mail order brides. I felt as though I got a chance to really know these characters and all about their lives. Nicely written and I highly recommend. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
