Viva Chicano Reviews

I read every Frank Bonham books that the library had when I was a kid. I loved them. They were a little bit like S. E Hinton's book, but there was a little more humour and fun in them. I don't remember a lot of the plots now - just pieces here and there - but I remember enjoying them all greatly.

I would rate this book a 10. This book is about a 13 year old kid who deals with gang violence and does drugs. He’s a young Chicano who goes through life without parents and is on the run from the cops. This book teaches of how not to judge a person for their past and judge on them for the person and their future. I would recommend this book to people who like drama, gang violence and reality.
