Fae Dominance (Dia McLearey #1.5) Reviews

Fae Dominance gets a big 4 ½ stars from me. If you have read Dianthe Rising you will want to read this, to find out just what happened between Kale and Robin, when Dia told them to sort out their differences. I loved that the author let us see more of these two. We got to see more of their pasts, the things they have lived with that makes them the way they are. You have two very dominate males and I adored watching them both succumb to each other. I’m going to be honest from the warning I expected more sexiness but you know what it worked. Oberon intrigued me and I hope we find out more about him, he was a fun character who has his own heartache. I’m looking forward to the next book to find out what happens to Dia and I’m looking forward to more of Kale and Robin’s banter as they do make me LOL.

I wasn't expecting much story but it was a good story with erotic in it.

Fae Dominance is a novella starring Kale and Puck. Dia is sick of their fighting; she's had enough of their fight for male dominance. Her office can't take anymore and neither can she. She's going on a date with Daniel and tells the other too to fix things between them; talk it out, fight it out, f**k it out. Do whatever they need to do to to get the fight out of their system or it's over. Mates or not, she won't put up with this behavior any longer. So that's exactly what they do. Robin is scared. He can't lose Dia or his other mates. In desperation he takes Kale into Faery where time moves differently. This will allow him to get through to Kale and his wolf, make him see that they are true mates to each other and Daniel, every bit as much as they are with Dia.
This book comes with a warning: For Mature Adult Audiences. Contains language and actions some may deem offensive. Sexually explicit content. Group sex, orgies, BDSM, and MM scenes. If it's not your thing, skip it and go directly to book 3. You won't miss any story. However, if you do enjoy a bit of the naughty, this book delivers. It is provocative, sexy, lusty. It's also emotional and touching. I love the connection found between these two beautiful, dominant men. -
If you’ve read Dianthe Rising you will know that Kale and Puck are forced to sort their issues out because it hurts Dianthe every time they fight, so that’s exactly what they guys do they go to the Fae realm and work on being mates and not enemies.
Both are dominate powerful men/beings that have had really tough upbringings and although sharing is not unheard of in the Other community, it wasn’t something Kale thought he would need to do and being Alpha puts another strain, he doesn’t want to appear weak to his pack but if he can’t come to terms that Dianthe has more than one mate he may lose her altogether. Puck being Puck riles Kale enough to get him to be open minded in their relationship. Expect MM & MFF scenes.
Now while Kale and Puck are trying to sort out what’s happening between them there are machinations against Oberon that weren’t foreseeable but as a loyal confidant to the King Kale and Puck will do what needs to be done to protect him. The only Father Puck has ever known - what would you do to protect your loved ones?! -
I was frustrated by the treatment of Robin and Kale getting over their ‘animosity’ towards each other in the first book. They disappeared for a night, which was really 3 weeks in Faerie Land, totally over their posturing. I felt gipped that I wasn’t able to read about the transition.
Which is probably what made this in-between book chronicling those three weeks so satisfying to me.
Plus I luv me some M/M. -
Better than the first
This was grest. I enjoyed the insight into Puck's life and the fairy realm stuff. There is a little M/M action but I quite enjoyed it. They both definitely love Dia but it's an interesting set up where they are all mated to each other. -
I'm so glad that I got to read pucks and kale story. Cant wait to read more.

I loved Robins and kales story

I finished it in a day......... Say's it all.....Superb!
I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed this book, given that it didn't centre around the main character I was concerned that I would find it off-track or not inline with the original book - It was nothing like that! I could read another!
The book focuses on Dia's mates Robin and Kale and their inability to 'get along', realising that Kale being the dominant alpha and not really open to suggestion, Robin decides to whisk him off to the Faery world, the descriptions were excellent giving me a perfect idea of where they were located and depicting their surroundings.
You read about the growing relationship between the two of them and each having to overcome their past and learn how to reach an even balance in order to achieve and equal footing in their 'mated' family. I was initially apprehensive about the male on male idea but by no way grossed out! It was done very well and actually quite enjoyable to read *blush*
This book surpassed my expectations - You learn more about the Fae and their world, and importantly about who Robin really is!
I laughed with Robin and Kale! and I cried with Robin and Kale!
This Series has me hooked and I will be back to Stalking the Author! I am sooooo ready for the next! -
JB has really connected with her characters in this book. Puck and Kale really come in to their own and their very different personalities shine through superbly in fae dominance. After Dianthe Rising I was a bit jubious as to how an alpha werewolf and a high powered big personality fae would connect and be able to fully mate but in fae dominance we see them butt heads a bit and come round to being as strong together as they are with dia.
The story line has plenty going on. We meet some fae who are interesting. We get some insight into the pasts of Puck, a little of Kales (although I want more haha never satisfied).
Loved this book, cant wait for the next one! -
Love this series...
This was an unexpected treat to find out what happened between Robin and Kale when they went to Faery. I was a little bummed that this wasn't book 2 as I've been dying to find out what happened after the Hunt. Still, I enjoyed seeing how Robin and Kale finally found comfort in their intimacy. -
This is the part of the story that is missing from Dianthe Rising that I was desperate to find out about. The part when Kale and Robin disappear and sort out their differences.
Once in the land of the Fae, there is intrigue, torture, a little kinky rope work, and a bet that goes wrong, (or is that very right) for the pair. it all combines to make a very satisfying read.
