What do you get when you have a damsel who's low on funds just before the Christmas holiday and a filthy rich man who seeks to dominate her, even if it costs him one million dollars to get the chance? The twisted seduction in Craving Ashton...

It's only two weeks before Christmas when Kira Shaw walks into his office for her first day of work. Ashton Dubrow isn’t looking for love. He doesn’t pursue women. He shackles them at will, and there is no shortage of women waiting to obey his every command, in and out of the bedroom. But there is one woman that brings out a desire that he's unable to control. Kira Shaw. The more they work together, the more he aspires to strip her tough exterior away shred by shred, until she bends to his every whim.
Kira Shaw isn't as innocent as she seems. She's been celibate since she split with her son's father, but Ashton awakens a beast inside of her that’s been lying dormant. Her expertise is expanding into a sexual awareness that has her craving to have Ashton for all the days of her life. She craves his touch like her next breath, but will the beast he has awakened show up ugly in other parts of their relationship before they reach happily ever after? Will their whirlwind romance be able to stand against both Ashton and Kira's insecurities from their pasts?

This book contains hot sex scenes, including spanking and BDSM.

Craving Ashton: A Sexy Multicultural Romance Reviews

    Okay

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review so here it is. I was disappointed. Kira got on my nerves. I understand a women being leery and cautious in a relationship after being cheated on but damnnn! Did she have to be psychotic? Plus it didn't flow right. I hope that this was a first time for this author and that she works at getting better. Will try to give her another chance if she rights another one simply because I want to support IR writers. But she also needs to do better with the editing and proofreading.

    Over the top

I try to give new authors a chance but I did not like this book. While not a deal breaker, I noticed several typos throughout which should have been caught by an editor. The characters seemed forced. I could not stand Kira and it made it hard for me to finish the book. She was so insecure and would fly off the handle and was the epitome of almost every stereotype that I hate about black woman. She basically prostituted herself and semi abandoned her son in pursuit of sex. Ashton was no better. The book description talked about submission and a proposition, but felt like this author went overboard trying to sell it. This book was not my cup of tea, but I could see how others might like it. I encourage this author to keep writing.
