I'd forgotten how good this publication could be. It contained some good prose works (I'm not too big on poetry. Highlights include:
Joyce Carol Oates's "Dis Mem Ber" about a young lady recollecting her past relationship with a public enemy.
Joshua Idaszak's "The Last Laz of Krypton" about a man who takes his son on smuggling run.
CR Packer's "Mrs. Lana Greer" using one side of an interrogation as the format of the story. One I've not seen done before.
The symposium on using technology was an interesting collection of short essays on a topic that I've had to consider a lot when plotting my own fiction.
Floyd Skloot's great essay on memory: "He Had a Falcon". -
Several fascinating short stories, including CR Packer's Mrs Lana Greer. This wonderfully original story was apparently her first publication. I'm excited to read more of her work in the future.
