Lucifer: The Light of the Aeon Reviews

I ordered this book to learn about the difference between Luciferianism and Satanism, but soon I was unhappy with my current choice.

"I have to skip over a few of the authors. One of them reminds me of a teenager making up stories to sound cool or interesting. I can't possibly take this person seriously." agreed with another reviewer.

The poems are nice but too much about some personal ego and the dark art/magick...since this book should be dedicated to Lucifer or about his ideas and stories I felt sad it is more like about some wannabe angry witches. Some of them. Don't mind to know these people or how they find their way to Satanism, but for me at least Luciferianism starts with Richard K. Page AlterEgo book.

Some good, honest stories are worth to borrow this book but have around 30pages for thinking about what 2 of the authors wrote.
A really mixed collection, some of the authors are horrible, some are interesting and I wish they would write the book instead of the others.

I left 2 stars because the critical reviews have been constantly disappeared or deleted, and make the book looks worth more and misleading.
Sum up: This book more about the people stories who found this religion and "dark art practise". If you want to know how people effected by Lucifer get this book somehow cheap. For me was not worth it for £19 in UK.

Some other personal note: For social effects to analyse how people found different religions is worth it, with some other religion topic books as well.
For me Lucifer is different. Not the series, not this book, but somewhere around Imre Madach :
The Tragedy of Man or some other books like AlterEgo / Wisdom of Eosphoros in partly.

Again, every review is personal for me this book was not what I looked for.

As editor Lucifer Light of the Aeon was part of a journey that had begun back in my childhood. Much had been written on the subject of Lucifer, his origins, his fall and his significance today. With most of the latter focusing on whether or not he is a fallen angel or deity of light. It seemed unfortunate that the majority of this had been left to the academics and presented from an entirely objective point of view. Through a series of events none of which I considered coincidental, more the synchronicity, I met either online or in'real life' the other authors. Something just clicked and I knew now was the right time!
