Cute book. Very few words but love the illustrations of different dog breeds. Makes me want to depict my own yellow lab!

When I saw the description for this book I was hoping it would give information on the personalities and temperament of different dog breeds, particularly as they relate to children. Unfortunately it gives no info about anything. There's no story, no plot, no info. Each page has only the name of the breed and 2 (seemingly random?) personality traits listed.
I don't like giving negative reviews, but really I can't see a point to this book and my book- loving/ dog- loving daughter couldn't either. the illustrations are cute, hence the 2nd star, but I'm glad I didn't pay for it.

The pictures adorable and the colors are bright. After we first read it my 4 year old said 'it's so cute I can't stop looking at it!'
